Paradise Found was the absolute perfect place for our quiet Christmas getaway. The condo is small but feels spacious with the way it is set up. The decor is clean but comfortable and homey. It had everything we needed to cook meals with a few extra special touches from our hosts.
The view from the lanai is incredible - we had our morning coffee, ate several meals, and played games looking out at gorgeous sugar beach and the Pacific Ocean.
We will definitely stay again!

This condo is truly paradise found! My husband and I stayed here for 9 nights and cannot imagine a more perfect place to stay on the island for our first trip to Maui! We were in awe with how close the condo is to the beach and the view from the lanai is absolutely breathtaking! A highlight of our stay was falling asleep listening to the sounds of the ocean waves every night!
The condo looks exactly as shown, as described. The condo was very clean and very well organized; it is so cozy and very relaxing! The condo is very close to the airport and so easy/convenient to get to Wailea-Makena, Paia, the road to Hana and road to Haleakala.
Frank and Sandy are amazing hosts and excellent communicators who have gone above and beyond to make their condo feel like a home to their guests and are extremely welcoming! From the personalized welcome message on the dry board, the Safeway grocery store member card to use, the welcome basket full of local goodies including a bottle of champagne and bag of ice in freezer, to the handwritten welcoming notes, they truly care for their guests and want to make your stay perfect! They have everything and more you will need for your stay to cook if you choose (we loved using the Vitamix every AM for smoothies), doing laundry, and hanging at the beach (we used the boogie boards). Sugar beach was quiet and perfect for walking the beach and for swimming.

We had everything we needed and more for our week long vacation/ 10 year anniversary trip. The condo is very well stocked with everything we needed and then some. We have an almost private beach & pool every day during our visit. Our hosts we very quick to answer any questions that we had & even suggested a wonderful restaurant while there. We were there during the tragic fires on Maui & our hosts were very flexible with our ever changing departure date & times. We really appreciated that during such a very unsure time. We would love to return this wonderful location on another trip back to Maui

This Kihei property is just perfect! Sandy and Frank have gone above and beyond to provide their guest with all the amenities you might need for a beach vacation! (Beach Chairs, coolers, boogie boards, and much more) Their condo has direct access to a beautiful and quiet beach. The waves are very gentle. Just right for a relaxing day! Sandy and Frank also make themselves available if you have any issues or questions. We will definitely be returning to this property again in the near future!

Perfect location on a long stretch of beach to celebrate our 40th anniversary. Condo was neat, clean, nicely decorated, well equipped kitchen, beach supplies, etc for our stay. Lovely balcony to sip coffee or a glass of wine and enjoy the view. Owners were the best hosts-special touch was a celebration basket of treats and champagne. We couldn’t have found a better location! We island hopped on 3 day trips but returned each night. This location was perfect for all we wanted to do in Maui! The condo views were awesome. From the lawn we could whale watch and enjoyed beautiful sunsets. (Certainly didn’t matter to us but there are no lights on balcony). If we return to Maui this will be our first choice of homes away from home.

This unit is outstanding in every way! It is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a stay on Maui, from kitchen items (coffee and spices!) to a day at the beach with chairs, umbrella, cooler and boogie boards! The owners were extremely accommodating from the very beginning of reserving the condo to letting us stay late on departure day as they had no one coming in that day. They are very quick to respond to questions. The location is perfect as base for exploring the entire island and right on the beach. We highly recommend this unit and these hosts! The condo is named Paradise Found and we named our trip the same. They have provided everything you will need including beach chairs boogie boards noodles. You will be staying somewhere special and it’s conveniently located with underground parking. If you don’t like sand, the grass area between the pool and ocean will be your happy place. BBQ area with picnic tables are there. All the comfort’s of home and if there is something you need, the owners are super cool and will accommodate you. We will stay here again.

We had an incredible experience in Maui, and Paradise Found was a big part of it. Between the basket of goodies, champagne, heartfelt note, and dry erase board message, we felt welcome the second we entered the cozy condo. We appreciated the items for our use including the coffee, laundry products, body wash, beach towels, etc. The adjustable bed was an added bonus. The instructions were abundant and clear. This condo exceeded all of our expectations! It was perfect for the two of us. We fell asleep and woke to the soothing sounds of the surf everyday. It's outfitted with everything needed for the beach--chairs, umbrella, cooler, boogie boards--and a comfortable place to come back to after a day of wandering or hanging out on one of Maui's beaches. It's just a short walk down the beach to the Sugar Beach Bakery and Ululani's Hawai'ian Shave Ice--two not to be missed spots in Kihei. It's also nicely away from the tourist hubbub of central Kihei (and a refreshing break from Lahina and Kaanapali), but a short drive to get to the complex of restaurants at Kalama Village. We'd definitely stay here again!

Location, location, location. Very nice condo, Frank and Sandy have put a lot of thought into every little detail, makes for very comfortable stay. Having the beach steps away is great. Early March is prime time for humpback whales, and we could see plenty from the lanai. Not only is location great for the beach but a great location for the airport and for day trips to Lahaina, etc. The keyless entry and garage access just made everything more efficient. Highly recommend this condo.

After having a planned cruise canceled only nine days prior to our sail date, we shifted our focus and decided on Maui instead! Having lived on the island for a few years, we were excited for the opportunity to go back for a visit and catch up with many friends.
We are so glad we found "Paradise Found"! With views from the lanai right to the beach and ocean, we enjoyed watching whales, having morning coffee or afternoon snacks, and spending evenings listening to the waves. With the close proximity to the beach, it's easy to go out for a walk on the beach, or to take advantage of the lawn chairs and lounges for some sunning in the afternoons.
Even though we only ate breakfasts or snacks in the unit, we could have easily cooked a full meal if we had chosen to do so. The kitchen is well-stocked with cooking and service items, spices, and paper goods. Also, having the Keurig is a great addition. We bought some additional flavored pods and enjoyed the variety supplied as well.
Frank and Sandy have supplied the unit well with towels (both bath and beach towels), beach chairs, beach umbrella, a safe, coolers, vacuum and broom for quick cleanups, a variety of soaps, a first aid kit, and tasteful decor. Two definite pluses are the assigned parking space in the secured underground garage and the full-size washer and dryer in the unit.
The central island location is beneficial for when activities are planned in a variety of locations on the island. We were able to get to Kihei, Wailea, Lahaina, and Kahului with minimal traffic.
We are already planning another visit to Maui within the next year or so and will definitely check to see if "Paradise Found" is available!

We could not have found a more perfect rental to celebrate our 40th Anniversary on Maui! This place was fantastic. We were a little concerned as we approached the building that perhaps it would feel outdated but upon entering the unit and the first thing you see is the incredible view ....!!!! All of that went away. The view is really spectacular. The unit is small but perfect for a couple. The beach is right there. Great sitting areas on the grass or the sand right in front of the ocean. Or just hangout on the oceanfront lanai! We walked, snorkled and enjoyed everything right from the unit. Could not have been more perfect!!! My only suggestion is to have a french press for coffee....not a huge fan of the Keurig but it was quick way to make a cup of coffee. ;-), 100% would stay here again. Perfect location, Perfect hosts. High Vibes all the way around!!!

Property owners were great communicators and were very personable. They made the entire process extremely easy and worry free. Location is good, a short drive to Lahaina and Kaanapali or Wailea. Unit was clean and organized and up to date. Condo complex is quiet.
Only very minor thing to note - air conditioner is in-wall unit in the living room only. Bedroom tends to get a tad warm for our personal taste. Outside that, condo has every single thing you will need to make your bacation enjoyable.

First impression
When we arrived to the unit, we found that we had a garage parking spot. It’s a fairly windy area so it was nice to be able to go directly from the room to covered garage area. Upon arriving in the room, we were greeted with a nice handwritten note on the whiteboard and a gift basket with treats! We had a pretty rushed morning getting from the Big Island and didn’t get a chance to eat, so I dove into the cookies right away. And then there was THE VIEW! You cannot beat the view at this place. You might look at the pictures for this listing and think it can’t look THAT good but it really does. As we were exploring the unit, we discovered this place was fully stocked like someone would stock their home. Extra towels, beach chairs, a full bookshelf of books, every pot, pan, and kitchen utility you could think of, a big bag of ice in the freezer, and way too many things to list. I also love the Hawaiian and beach decor all throughout the unit. It instantly put me in the Aloha spirit! A thing to note is the ceiling fans is they are controlled by remotes and not the light switches on the wall.
Bedroom
Such a spacious room! Plenty of closet space, a fully vanity, and a whole couch. The bed was pretty comfy and it being king size made me sad coming home to my queen size bed. My only complaint which I know for Hawaii is tougher to solve is that there was only an air conditioning unit in the living room and not the bed room. My solve for it was there is a fan in the hall closet so I blew the colder air from the living room into the bedroom. This with the combination with the ceiling fan kept us Minnesotans from sweating all night haha.
Bathroom
One thing I’ve never seen before is there is a mini ceiling fan in the bathroom. I thought it was silly at first, but it felt so nice using it during and after the shower! I wish I had it for my own bathroom at home. The shower is also fantastic! It one of those showers where the shower head has a handle that you can detach it and the water pressure was good.
Conclusion
Overall, “Paradise Found” is the perfect spot for a Maui get away! Frank and Sandy have a slice of paradise on their hands and I can’t thank them enough for sharing it with us. Make sure to catch a sunset on the beach at least once during your stay

Beautiful place! Wonderful attention to details. Amazing views. So relaxing hearing and watching the waves from the balcony. Owners put a lot of care into this condo. Located at the very end of Kihei so have to drive to the swimming beaches but a lot less people and more peaceful. Very helpful to have beach chairs and umbrella. Air conditioning is only in the living room so found the bedroom a bit hot. There is a good fan though. This was my 1st condo and vrbo so don't have much to compare.

This was our second time back to Hawaii, the first being our honeymoon 33 years ago! Back then we stayed on the other side of the island (Kaanapali)in a resort and loved it. This trip we decided on this condo in Kihei and loved it even more! The condo is neat, clean and well organized. The bed and pillows were comfy and it was great having our own washer/dryer. We did make a drive back to Kaanapali and couldn't even get to the beach as it was way overcrowded. We headed back to Paradise Found and our own "private" Sugar Beach instead. It is so relaxing and quiet and you have your own parking space. The nearby town is great too and a very short drive. We loved the food trucks and Paia fish but also ate most morning meals in our condo on the lanai. Everything is available for you to cook there including spices. We were close to the Road to Hana and made a day trip there which we loved; especially hiking the Pipiwai trail and seeing the Bamboo forest. There is so much to see and do but we always ended up back on the beach at the condo. The trip couldn't have been better and much of that is due to staying in "Paradise". Mahola Frank and Sandy for everything from the personalized welcome including the basket of goodies to quick responses. We can only hope to come back one day.

Maui nō ka ‘oi [the best] and Paradise Found is lovely. The views, kitchen appointments, and the space are perfect. The bedroom could use its own AC unit.
Alas this trip had a dark cloud of confusion and stress due to CVirus [late May 2021]. The required double testing was a nightmare, the mask wearing is over-the-top, many businesses just were not viable or open, and the property limitations made things much less enjoyable. We did not have a day spent at the pool with the 4 person/1 hour limitations and breathing in the 80+ degree heat with masks was extremely difficult.

Paradise Found is perfect for a couple who wants to have a nice quiet and peaceful trip to Maui. The condo is located in Kihei but its also the last one to the north, which means the beaches to the north are empty and great for nice walks. Do not get me wrong, the beaches to the south are just a secluded and nice, but there are more people and condos there.
The Condo is perfect, you have everything you need. Frank and Sandy have gone out of their way to provide their guests with everything. The kitchen is perfect and has just about everything you need to prepare meals (you have to provide your own food, but it saves you so much money and Costco, Walmart, and Target are 15 minutes away). They also give you their Safeway cards so you can get discounts there and its less than 5 minutes away. The bed is very comfortable. Ceiling fans in the living room, bedroom and bathroom help keep the condo cool, but its also on the top floor and with the windows open, you have a constant breeze. We never had to use the AC. The lanai is great, no you can't see the Maui sunset from it, but take the elevator down to the beach (less than 2 minutes) and you have the best view of the sunset and the resort provides chairs and lounges if you want to sit back there, enjoy a drink and watch the most beautiful sunset you will ever see. Back to the lanai, you do have a great view of the ocean and beach and a comfortable table and chairs where we ate breakfast, lunch and dinners.
I probably should not say all these great things because now we will have a hard time finding reservations for our future trips there, but honestly I would rather know that I shared a great place than kept it all to myself. We will be back and already counting the days until we can. Mahalo Frank and Sandy.
PS: One last thing, if you walk down the beach (south) about 3/4 mile then cut in at the seawall, you have an awesome bakery, shave ice, and farmers market with some of the best fresh island fruit.

We have had great experiences using VRBO. Paradise Found is the fifth VRBO rental and the best experience of all. Frank and Sandy are wonderful to deal with. We had a terrible storm on departing day. Frank and Sandy communicated with us about possibly extending our stay if we were to experience a delay. Communication is prompt and easy.
We arrived to find a spotless unit with a welcome basket full of local goodies that we really enjoyed. We also received a honeymoon card and message. The unit is well appointed. We had access to snorkel gear (excellent quality), a great washer and dryer, and beach towels. The kitchen is very functional and well organized. We found it difficult to leave the unit to dine out. We cooked our own meals and enjoyed eating them in the breeze on the lanai. The view is magical.
There are a lot really nice things about the unit. Remote control fans and lights. Mood lighting everywhere. Little touches that are very special.
We really enjoyed our stay at Paradise Found. Although we plan to travel the world we expect to visit Sandy and Frank's unit again in the future. It's the best vacation spot on Maui.

Frank and Sandy are marvelous hosts! They left nothing to be wanting in their lovely oceanfront condo. The complex is small which makes it very quiet. Being on the end of the beach next to a nature reserve also adds to the peacefulness of the location. The basement parking for the unit is great with access to the elevator just 20ish feet away making it easy to get everything to the unit. The condo itself is beyond perfect! My husband is a resort guy, so convincing him to stay in a condo was not easy. We both absolutely loved the condo. It is a perfect getaway, beautifully decorated and equipped with anything you might need. Frank and Sandy thought of everything from a well stocked kitchen to all the beach accessories you might need. Even the smallest details were accounted for including a pair of binoculars, charging stations, and books and cds to borrow. We also loved the location as far as seeing the rest of the island. This was our first time on Maui and we weren't quite sure where to stay, but this condo is situated in an area that allows quick travel to other parts of the island. Take a right in front of the condo and the next junction will take you either left into Kihei and down to Wailea or straight to the airport/Costco and eventually to the road to Hana. We cannot recommend both Maui and this condo highly enough, both made this an incredible trip that we will always treasure! Mahalo Frank and Sandy!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your condo, and hopefully we will be back! Not only was it a clean, comfortable place to stay, but you really anticipated any need we might have - from snorkel gear to beach towels and beach chairs. Our mornings began with coffee and breakfast on the lanai as we watched the sun slowly light up the palm trees and change the colors of the ocean. After a day of sightseeing activities, it was heaven to come back to the quiet condo for a swim in the ocean and the pool. The sound of the waves crashing lulled us to sleep each night. Maui was fabulous and a good part of it was due to these accommodations. Thanks - Judy & Ron

Very clean, bug free, and cozy. If you are a large person this condo will not work for you. I was glad the garage door was broken because it was hard enough to get in and out of without having to wait for the garage door to go up and down. Blind entrance and exit with big dip. Beach was private as well as the pool, but the birds and outrigger groups had you up before daylight every morning. The location was central to all areas for sightseeing and it felt like a safe area. Awesome sunrise from front door but the sun sets behind the mountain on the beach side...so if you want to see the gorgeous Maui sunset, drive to Lahaina and you can catch it from anywhere along Front Street. Frank and Sandy have provided all the necessities you will need as well as the wonderful welcome basket full of goodies.
