This property made our holiday easy since we could walk to the local beach (Charlie Young Park) for snorkeling and boogie boarding. Having beach chairs, sun umbrella and boogie boards at the condo was wonderful. Walking distance to a wonderful food truck or further to additional shops and restaurants, was helpful. When we did get in the car to drive further for even better snorkeling or groceries, it felt like a fun excursion. The condo was comfortable with a beautiful view of the ocean from the lanai. We enjoyed our time there.

Overall a great stay. A couple hiccups that Annie dealt with promptly, but the condo is as-advertised. The view is better than advertised!
The air conditioners work well and the complex is well maintained with on-site security. A great beach for kids is mere steps away.
The place could use a couple more essentials (food wrap, tin foil, Tupperware, extra towels) as well as a deep clean a bit more often, but would stay again.

Great size and view for family of four with young adults! Close to good grocery stores, restaurants and great beaches. We did a 2 hour beaches walk every morning as a family.
We were evacuated from the west side given the heartbreaking wildfires a few days before our stay. Annie was wonderful in her communications in helping my family transition to safety at this condo. Thanks again!

Nicely appointed condo in the center of Kihei walking distance to multiple restaurants and stores. Directly across the street from Charley Young beach and Kam I; perfect calm, white sand beaches. Pool and grounds are kept very clean. Comfortable beds, great wifi. Nice to have a big closet upstairs for all the luggage.

Loved the property. Host was great. Only comment I may make is that anyone of size be aware that the staircase to upstairs is narrow and the upstairs shower is very small.
Wednesday and Sunday make sure you look out toward the beach after sundown for the led bike parade. So fun!

Excellent location just across the street from Charlie Young Beach. We walked to Kiehi Cafe for breakfast every morning. The restaurants/bars /shops are also nearby with a short walk or drive. The loft upstairs with a full bathroom was perfect for our 2 teenagers & having air conditioning was a bonus. View of sunsets from the lanai are just as pictured in the listing. Highly recommend & look forward to staying here again!

My family enjoyed our two weeks in this condo. The loft area provided plenty of room plus a bathroom for the kids. Extra "Harry Potter Closet", as we called it, was large enough to store our suitcases and paraphernalia, plus another single sleeping area. The condo complex is situated perfectly for walking to all of the Kihei shops and restaurants, plus the daily journey across the street to Charley Young Beach for beach play and gorgeous sunsets.
We loved the lanai for morning coffee and a view of those sunsets when we didn't make it to the beach. We were also grateful for the beach chairs they provided.

We had an amazing time in Maui. Definitely needed more than a week to explore everything! Annie was fast and reliable with her communication.
PROS:
1. Great location/views
2. Excellently stocked kitchen and beautifully updated
3. Big home; loved sleeping up in the loft
4. Extra floor level twin mattress to accommodate our toddler so we saved money on not having to rent a toddler bed
5. We barely used the AC because the unit stayed nice and cool but when we did use it, it was great. Cooled down the place right away.
CONS:
1. Floors were extremely dirty. Our feet were black every single day or had stuff sticking to them. There were some cleaning supplies but it was just Swiffer wet mops. Would have liked something to pick up debris.
2. The deadbolt on the front door only locks from the inside so when we left the unit we could only lock the bottom which isn’t as strong and there is a gap between the door and the frame so you can peek through.
3. Furniture was a bit old and beat up and not really comfortable
4. Annie was kind enough to push the 2 twins together to make a king size bed, however the thing that goes in the middle to cover the gap was not tight enough and kept pushing the beds apart.
Overall it was a really good place to stay in terms of meeting our needs and location and size.

Maui Vista (building one) is located 500 steps from the sands of Charley Young Beach (Kamaole 1). Ocean view from lanai & a short walk to shops, restaurants & other beaches. Unit was clean, beds were comfortable but lacking in supplies compared to other MV units we've stayed in. Annie was great to work with & we'd recommend this unit to anyone.

This VRBO is conveniently located and and thoughtfully appointed with all you need for a comfy stay near the beach! From the completeness of the kitchen, to beach towels, umbrellas, ice chest…it has it all! The balcony faces the ocean so nightly we enjoyed the sunset either from there, or across the street at their beach. The grounds are well kept and it is so quiet. We loved it!!

Everything went smoothly. Was the perfect location for our family! Love the laid back feel of Kihei and the great food. Nice location for exploring the whole island, as the drive to get to other beaches isn’t too far at all. Charley Young across the street is beautiful too! Definitely Recommend! Would stay again. (Just a side point , a couple of the beach chairs and one of the umbrellas could stand to be updated. A couple were broken upon our arrival, But grateful that there were a couple of others to use) plus we brought giant beach blankets with us. overall very satisfied with our stay. Mahalo!!!

Location is nice, although the building is outdated, AC is poor, and no good food choices nearby. I would have given a better review, if not for the owner adding fake charges for cleaning and a missing key: we cleaned up the place before leaving and there only was one key. What a phony!

Not only was this condo clean and bright, but the view from the balcony was exceptional and right across the street was one of the best beaches in Maui, Charley Young! Conveniently located and accessible to food, towns and Maui fun! Loft is ideal for a family-kids enjoyed and had a great space to relax. Cant wait to come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Maui Vista was a perfect location for walking to restaurants/food trucks/beach. The condo was clean. We didn’t cook, but condo had plenty of utensils/knives/pans. There was a Black & Decker coffee pot with coffee filters, some seasonings, oil, dish soap, toilet paper & paper towel roll. The view from balcony was beautiful. We could hear the waves from ocean in early morning. I would recommend putting a hook or two for washcloths, etc. in shower stall upstairs. We loved the condo and would absolutely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There was not one thing we were in need of that wasn't there for our use. The beach chairs were a real hit. We traveled to many beaches, Kaanapali being the favorite, and took the chairs along for the ride. The washer and dryer were a bonus and allowed us to pack lighter. The view is spectacular, the condo and grounds were clean and tidy. Thank you for sharing your condo with us.

We stayed at Maui Vista for the first two weeks of February and wish we could have stayed for 2 more. We were very comfortable, and impressed with how well the condo was furnished. Everything we needed including beach equipment. Loved the location on the top floor and the short walk across the street to the beach which was our favorite place to spend time in the morning and at sunset. AC was a plus for countering the late afternoon sun. Would not hesitate to return and hopefully we will.

My friends and I loved staying here. The view of the ocean and sunset is even more beautiful than the pictures show! The unit was clean, and Annie was very responsive when we lost power one night (which was a huge city/town-wide issue, out of her control). The location is directly across from Charley Young Beach and being in the first building of Maui Vista made the walk even shorter. The unit does sleep 5, but the 5th bed is located in a closet in the loft, so it does get very hot in there. Our group managed just fine with the fans provided, but just something to keep in mind. Overall, a great stay for a great price.

The beach is right across the street and is beautiful. Cute shopping markets in walking distance. The beach supplies were perfect! The ac was our only issue but that was operator error, after we called our host we got it working and it worked great! Cooled the living room, kitchen, loft and even bonus room nicely. The ac in the queen bedroom is kind of loud, but that’s our only complaint! The elevator was also out due to maintenance, so carry our bags to the car when checking out was a pain, but that had nothing to do with the host! Was a great trip, would stay again.

Well kept condo with all the essentials you could need for your vacation getaway. Beach access is right across the street, great sunsets to be had. Condo is well equipped for cooking multiple meals and was very clean upon arrival. No problems with AC, while the loft upstairs can get quite warm it was comfortable in the evenings with the fans going so as long as you don’t mind a little white noise I can’t imagine it being an issue. Great location for all of Maui’s adventures. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Warning for other guests: we arrived at night and spent 45 minutes looking for apartment 2191 instead of 1403. This was not immediately clear from the messaging. Other than that, great place.

Thanks Kurt and Annie for sharing your ideal condo in Kihei Town! Check-in with the property was quick, and everything was as promised in your listing. Our teenage sons really liked the 3 min walk to Charlie Young beach for swimming, snorkeling and boogie boarding. And my wife and I were thrilled with the breathtaking sunsets we enjoyed on the 4th floor lanai overlooking the ocean. Condo was clean with updated kitchen and bathrooms. Upstairs loft with duel twin beds and separate bathroom was a perfect retreat for the teens. Washer and dryer definitely came in handy! AC worked great during the little heat wave we had while visiting. A 5-10 minute walk in either direction on Kihei Rd led us to numerous local shops, grocery stores, restaurants and more great beaches with lots of surfing. The property had 24 hour security patrol, who were friendly and made us feel very welcome. A fun, easy and affordable way for the whole family to enjoy a Maui vacation, away from the crowded, overpriced resorts in Lahaina. When we come back to Maui, we’ll be staying here again. Mahalo!

We had a wonderful time. The condo was nice and clean. It had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. The view was awesome. The air conditioning worked well, and the beds were very comfortable. We used the beach towels, umbrellas, and chairs. So thankful for those. It was also nice to have 2 bathrooms and showers. Great location. Close to Everything. Great Beach across the street. We also used the pool once. It was nice. The view was also great. No downsides at all. No one complained of anything, or said it would be nice to have this or that. We stayed here for 9 nights during our family vacation which included 5 people - my husband, me and our kids (13, 10, 9). This rental was the perfect size for our family with a queen in one bedroom and three twin beds upstairs.
The property satisfied our basic needs, stocked with plenty of pots/pans and dishes in the kitchen. We hit Costco when we arrived and utilized all of the kitchen appliances which worked well. We even washed a couple loads of laundry.
The beach is located nearby, just across the street from the complex, and this unit is toward the front/beach side of the complex so maybe took us 3 minutes. As for toys/beach stuff - there was one slick side boogie board, one standard boogie board and a kick board; five chairs, beach towels, a cooler, an outdoor blanket and two umbrellas. Even a cooler pack in the freezer ready to go.
If your speed is more the pool, there is a basic pool downstairs that we usually had to ourselves or shared with one family. Shower outside to hose down after the beach and super refreshing to take a swim.
This rental was a good location as Lahaina is about 40 min away, and Wailea about 13-14 min. So many great beaches nearby (Charles Young for hanging out, Kam III for boogie boarding) so .mostly hung around here and enjoyed walking to dinner at Coconuts, shave ice at the Beach Shack, and a few other amenities nearby. Would stay here again.

Amazing condo! My family of 4 stayed for a week and wish we could have stayed longer. The condo was extremely clean, up-to-date, and had all the amenities we could want plus some (beach chairs, cooler, boogie boards, umbrellas, sand toys)! The beds were very comfy. The pictures do a good job depicting the unit and the extra loft storage space is even bigger than it looks in the picture. A child could definitely sleep in there if you needed the room. The air conditioning works great and the view from the balcony is beautiful. Communication with the owners is easy and it is obvious that they take pride in their condo. You won't be disappointed if you stay here!

The condo itself was nicely furnished, very clean, and well stocked with everything we needed from beach chairs, towels & cooler to every size bowl, utensil & pan. We enjoyed the balcony and the A/C in the living room worked amazingly well at cooling the entire place. The kitchen & bathrooms are nicely remolded and we really appreciated that there was enough TP, paper towels, garbage bags, & detergent to last the entire week without having to go out and buy more. The only improvements would be including a better beach umbrella, one that you could twist into the sand, and replacing the downstairs shower head with one shoot out a bit more water. Overall we really enjoyed staying here. Thanks for the great memories.

This fourth floor property was very nice. Plenty of room for my friend and I. The kitchen had everything we needed. It is right across the street from Charley Young beach which is a really nice beach. We watched the sunset every night from the lanai. There was some car and people noise from the street but it didn’t bother us. It was fun to watch all the goings on. The weather was great and the water was warm. Couldn’t ask for more!!

Annie was super easy to communicate with. Although the washing machine broke on the first day, she came up with solutions to let us enjoy our stay.
The location is very convenient and the beach across the street is house to many sea turtles.
Kihei is pretty busy but we did not mind the noise from the main street.
Tenants in the condo were required to wear mask and the pool was never crowded.

We enjoyed our stay here! When we arrived it was soooo hot in the unit and it took us a while to figure out the air conditioning and once we did, we had to leave for a few hours to let it cool down in there!! The kitchen is nicely stocked with everything you need! The couch isn’t the most comfortable, but the beds were decent! The owners provided us with a pack n play for our son so we were grateful for that! The owners were quick to respond to any questions we had! I think the main thing that bothered us was the beach chairs were old, the zippers didn’t work and some of the straps were broken! I do believe those should be replaced. Overall we did enjoy our stay and LOVED the beach that is right across the street! And the pool was never crowded and my kids enjoyed it every morning!

It is hard to find accommodations for a family of 5 but this place was ideal. Lots of room upstairs for the kids and each of the boys had their own bed to sleep in. Annie was available to answer any questions we had . The condo was well stocked with lots of fun stuff for the water and lots of room for the whole family to sit and ‘veg’ out at the end of the day.
It maybe would have been nice to have an umbrella on the patio but other than that the place and the location was PERFECT. Thanks Annie for helping us make our Christmas vacation on Maui one to remember
