This condo is part of a great complex with multiple pools, tennis/pickle ball courts, outdoor BBQs. Check in is easy. Location is great, just across from one of the many Kihei beaches.
This unit truly was our home away from home. It is very well stocked, information is everywhere, very organized. We felt at home right away!

Linda's place is quite nice and in a great location for beach time. It is also close to Three's, a great restaurant. It has all the fixins one could ask for. Linda is very communicative and delivers the parameters for her guests stay promptly and clearly. While there, the fires broke out and, while that area of Kihei was not affected, the state requested that all non-essential travelers leave to help conserve resources and, ideally, lodging for those affected. Considering the emergent situation, we felt it best to cut our stay short and leave Maui. Linda was not willing to provide a refund, which we respect as it is the right of the host through VRBO to make those determinations as they see fit. This is not meant to be a slight against Linda, it is simply being mentioned to let other prospective renters know that having their own travel insurance is needed as, should anything unexpected happen, this may be the only way for you to receive any type of restitution. Again, Linda's place is great and I would recommend.

My friends and I (3 adult professionals) rented Linda's VRBO for a "gal pal week" in Maui. Linda's VRBO far exceeded our expectations as many of the photos in the listing are clearly pre-renovations. Linda has thought of every/any convenience one might need during a vacation to Maui. There is ample beach gear (e.g., kid's flotation devices, beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels, etc.) and ample everyday living supplies (a comprehensive array of prepping/cooking/baking supplies, multiple small appliances, plenty of dining sets, assortment of cups/mugs/glasses, etc.). Linda also supplies more than enough paper products (toilet, tissue, and paper towels) and heaps of towels (face, hand, bath)--more than enough for us 3 adults for a one week stay and definitely enough even for a family of four. I have stayed at multiple VRBOs and other rentals and *none* have been as generous as Linda with everyday supplies (i.e., at other VRBO stays of more than a few days, I almost always need to buy more paper products and other daily supplies. I definitely consider Linda the most generous VRBO owner I have come across!). In addition, Linda's place was probably one of the cleanest VRBOs I have ever stayed at, with very comfortable beds (including the most comfortable sofa bed I have ever slept on. It was better than some "bed"-beds in other VRBOs!). It's clear that Linda takes pride in her VRBO, and guest are incredibly fortunate to benefit from her attention to detail and hospitality!

Everything was great from beginning to end. There were instructions and directions for every situation; the property manager is very organized and it made the trip a breeze. The bed was comfortable, the laundry and kitchen were fully stocked and easy to use, and there was even a French press and grinder for our coffee! If I'm staying again in Kihei, I would definitely choose this exact rental again.

This is a great place to stay at a great location close to the beach. There is plenty of parking. The beach is a short walk. We were supplied with plenty of beach towels, snorkeling gear, beach chairs and an umbrella, pots and pans, and plenty of dishes. It was very clean and Linda was very helpful answering any question we had. This is the type of place you will need to book early because it is in high demand. I would most definitely come back and book it again.

We leveraged the tons of equipment left behind for renters. We used the body boards, umbrella, chairs, extra towels. The unit was very comfortable for 2 people and we enjoyed our breakfasts in the balcony. We would definitely stay again if we were in Maui.

First off the pics are not accurate. The owner has clearly done some work and upgraded quite a bit which was a pleasant surprise. The unit is spotless, more than accommodating and the location was excellent. The check in process was so easy. I had to call security to get the code and a parking permit and they met me at the building and were beyond friendly.
Everything you need for outdoor fun is provided by the owner. Chairs, boogie boards, towels, ice chests, ice packs in the freezer, literally every thing we needed was there.
I feel like 5 stars are not enough! Thank you so much Linda!

We felt absolutely welcomed in this beautiful and well equipped apartment. Its quite big for two people, with a nice kitchen and a lot of helpful tools. Linda gave a lot of helpful information. We enjoyed the pool area as well. The location is just across the street of a beautiful beach (it was actually our favorite one in Maui and the sunsets were amazing). Kihei is also a great starting point to explore the other parts of the island. We found beach and snorkel gear in the apartment and used the free parking lot. Thanks a lot, we will definitely come back!

My daughter and I loved staying here. Charley beach was just a short walk away. This was a perfect spot to spend many days. This condo was well appointed with the exception of very dull broken knives. Otherwise we found everything we needed here. The location was excellent for reaching our scheduled adventures. The Kihei condo is in a great location. The property is across the street from Charlie Young Beach and near several restaurants and food trucks. The condo has basically everything you need to have a great time at the beach - chairs, towels, snorkel equipment, boogie boards, cooler, & umbrella. We brought our own portable speaker and sunscreen and we were set. The condo also has a small washer and dryer if you stay long enough and need to do laundry. You might be thinking, what’s the catch?! Well, there were cockroaches in the unit as well. One of them crawled on my partner’s arm while in the bed. I messaged Linda the next morning and she said she would call an exterminator so hopefully that doesn’t happen to any future guests. Although Linda was a responsive host, we felt less than welcome in the condo. She has a COVID policy above and beyond the state of Hawaii (which wasn’t a problem for us since we are vaccinated and boosted and wear our masks regularly in public) and an information packet that essentially informs you of the cost/ repercussions of everything if you break or damage it. Don’t get me wrong, we throughly enjoyed our time in Maui and were able to follow all of the rules but just letting other travelers know how best to weigh their options.

Linda’s condo is great for families. It is in a quiet location in the heart of Kihei. Because of its location it is easy to get to anywhere on the island. The condo is very well kept and nicely stocked. Very clean upon arrival, and lots of extra amenities. We loved the fact that the building abides bu quiet hours after 10 pm. The pool and the barbecue were both very close to the unit. Linda is also very easy to work with and provides all the information you could possibly need. I would without hesitation rent this condo again.

Although everything about the condo itself was great, there were a few things that need to be addressed. First of all, the owner needs to change the listing on VRBO. There is currently no AC and the check in time should be changed to 4 not 3. The owner sends a very long list of instructions and expects the tenant to print these out. This is not always convenient for everyone especially if you are traveling for a long period of time. It would be more convenient for the owner to have all the info in a welcome binder where all the important info is easily accessible. The owner has stated in her long instructions that the AC isn’t working but the trade winds make it comfortable. This was not true during our visit. There were a few days when the temperature was quite uncomfortable. Other than these things, the place was updated and a great location.

The location and equipments were both excellent! The beach across street was a hidden gem, never crowded. Surfing school, supermarket, food trucks, well-known restaurants, sand volleyball courts, and beach park with children's climbing structure were all within 15-minute strolling distance. Linda provided towels, beach chairs, sun shade, snorkeling gears, and cleaning tools. Kitchen had all the cooking utensils we needed to make breakfast and dinner. We really enjoyed our stay!

The Maui Vista condos are a great place to stay. They are conveniently close to plenty of restaurants, shops, and beaches but still tucked away enough from the road to provide a quiet and relaxing stay. The owners provide all equipment you need to spend a long day on the beach! ( towels, chairs, umbrellas, snorkeling gear). Overall a nice place to stay while in Kihei!

Great location in Kihei. Linda provided all that was necessary for a comfortable stay. Definitely thought out. Even provided beach chairs, towels and boogie boards. Condo was well cooled with fans and air flow and air conditioner (when necessary). I appreciated Linda's communications with me before our trip. Did need to go to property manager's office to present Covid clearances since some parts of Kihei are a cel phone Bermuda Triangle (according to locals) when it comes to sending documents online. All-in-all, thank you Linda!

Linda was a great host. She was prompt, had detailed directions on checking in (which were changing rapidly because of covid), and was readily available. The security guard at the condo was helpful as well and gave some useful tips about the area when checking in. The condo is in a good location and as advertised. We had everything we needed: cooking utensils, beach gear, in condo pool, and in general the place was well kept. We would stay again if we ever returned to Maui.

We adored our stay in Maui! Linda was wonderful and easy to communicate with. The condo location is right across from Charley Young beach, which was the perfect spot for sunsets or an evening walk. We were close to great eats like paia fish market, Kihei cafe, and 808 deli. There is also a market close by with other shops. In the condo itself, there is everything for your comfort. Linda has graciously provided 4 nice beach chairs, 4 boogie boards, snorkel gear, towels, coolers, ice packs, etc. for guests. The kitchen is fully stocked! There wasn’t one thing that we had to go out and get. The condo itself was situated so that sun was never beating down into the condo which kept it very cool. There is an AC unit, but opening up the windows was sufficient! The lanai has a garden view that made for beautiful breakfasts listening to the birds. Overall, this condo made our stay very easy and fun! I would highly recommend staying here on your trip to Maui!

We had the privilege to stay in Maui and this condo for a month. Very impressed that the condo is fully equipped with everything we needed from snorkel equipment, boogie boards, ice chest, towels, kitchen equipment, etc. Perfect location close to the beach and shopping. Linda is a great host with full instructions needed to get to Hawaii ,and what is expected to stay here. During our stay we had the opportunity to speak with other people staying in the same complex and found this condo has it all. We are frequent VRBO customers and never have we had a unit as fully stocked with extras as this one was! Tons of beach supplies, coolers, ice packs, rain ponchos, you name it. We were pleasantly surprised with the close proximity to Charley Young beach (and all the turtles there) it was a beautiful location! The selection of excellent restaurants was also a big bonus to this place. The only slight negative was that the window in the mbr was more like a shutter and not very noise proof at all. We were up very early every morning with the singing of the birds. (Didn’t offer a lot of privacy either). Owners were excellent comnunicators

After booking this, we received a lot of helpful information from the owner (thank you Linda!). The apartment had everything that you could possibly want, for cooking, for going to the beach, for daytrips around Maui (maps, guide books, walking trail books, torches....just to mention a few things). Spotlessly clean. We stayed one week and could have happily stayed here much longer. Maui Vista is a beautifully maintained property. Nice and quiet, but near to beach, shops and restaurants. Easy parking.

Good communication with owner at every step of the process. The condo is in a great location in south Maui. Everything you need is provided by the owner and/or left behind by other guests. The kitchen is well-stocked.We were pleased to find a small cooler and ice packs to take a lunch to the beach. Snorkel equipment was also in the unit, (except the fins weren't usable) so that was a nice surprise. The low beach chairs will need to be replaced soon, but were perfectly usable, as was the umbrella, beach towels, etc. Everything was modern and in good condition. Comfy bed. We did a lot of tourist-y things all over the island and it was an easy drive to get everywhere, never more than an hour., but add extra time if traveling in rush hour (Well, the Hana trip was a full day with a great guide!) We enjoyed Charley Young beach directly across the street from the complex, but also enjoyed Kamoale III because we could set up our beach chairs on the grass under the shade trees overlooking the beach and then just go down the beach access ramp to get into the ocean to cool off. Overall, a great experience and the owners go the extra mile!

I like this condo very much. It is very clean, has a nice design, new appliances, everything you need to live. The owner provides very detailed instructions about the condo and shopping, and entertainments. The condo is located on the second floor in a quiet area. It is only five minutes to walk to the Charley Young Beach, which is turned to be our favorite. You can walk to some shops too. If a chance I would stay here again. I want back!
