This page shows the western end of the 3/4 mile long Lumahai beach, the section of beach beside Lumahai stream. As you drive along the highway you'll notice the parking lot. It's a long walk from this parking area to the eastern end - it's better to park closer to the hillside trail if you're visiting that section.
Lumahai is one of the most dangerous beaches on Kauai. Please visit our main Lumahai beach page for important safety information. Although inviting, we don't recommend swimming in the stream due to Leptospirosis. Also be aware that the stream is subject to flash floods..
