Our ground floor unit is located in the Melia "M" Cluster, and is among the newest and most private buildings in the Maui Kamaole complex. In 2016 we completed an extensive remodel of our condominium, including - new tile floors throughout; new tiled, walk-in showers; new cabinets/vanities in the kitchen and bathrooms; new stainless steel appliances in the kitchen; new, much quieter split air conditioning systems in the living room and bedroom, upgraded lighting throughout, new kitchen and bathroom plumbing hardware, etc.

Our unit boasts a spacious lanai off the living room, as well as a private courtyard in the rear, off the bedroom. Since this unit was among the last constructed, the architect incorporated many improvements in the design of the "M" cluster. Thus, our condo makes better use of the same amount of space compared to the condos constructed in the earlier years of the development.

Our unit has a beautiful garden view. Unlike some other units in the Maui Kamaole complex overlooking South Kihei Road, we do not have the corresponding traffic noise (e.g., trucks rolling down the road or to the small boat harbor at 6 AM). You are also close to the upper pool area, but not so close as to be burdened with any noise from the pool. Likewise, you do not have to contend with a noisy parking lot, as some units directly overlook the parking lot.

We are just a short five minute walk to Maui Kamaole III Park and Beach. This beach is one of the best kept secrets on the island. The "Locals" love the park and beach. Each evening you will find them there to watch the sunset with their family and friends. When we're on the island, we often go to the park to watch the sunset.

We are also less than a ten minute walk to Keawakapu Beach, one of the nicest beaches on the island. When we are on the island, we visit Keawakapu almost every day.

Our family visits Maui several times each year to check on the unit and to ensure that the unit is well stocked and in top-working order. Since we live on Maui several months per year, we often visit our condominium to ensure that all appliances and gadgets work.

We are aware of many condominiums poorly outfitted - for example, televisions that should have been recycled years ago, one pot for cooking, two coffee cups, five forks, phones that don't work, etc. The list could go on. Some owners never visit their units and are only interested in maximizing revenue with minimal investment in their unit. This is a classic case of buyer beware when selecting a condo to spend your hard earned vacation dollars and vacation time.

We recently installed a state-of-the-art, 55-in HD television, with all the Smart TV features. It is enabled to play Netflix, Hulu, Spotify, Amazon, etc. In 2019 we purchased a 43-in, Smart HDTV for the master bedroom with the same functionality as the living room television.

We have a full lineup of channels, including premium channels, from the local cable provider. Since Hawaii is two or three hours behind the West Coast, many of those live shows will broadcast several hours earlier than normal on the mainland.

In addition to the big screen HD TVs, we provide free, wireless internet access within the condo and free long distance telephone access to the mainland and Canada.

We recently added a new, plush, pillow-top king size bed in the master bedroom. You will enjoy a great night's sleep.

In the very rare event that a guest has an issue, our contact person on the island will handle any problems. Alternatively, you can contact us by phone, text message or email for a prompt response. In 2019 we purchased a new home in Wailea and spend several months per year on the island. We are often just five minutes away should you have any emergency.

This is a non-smoking condominium. Maui Kamaole is a non-smoking complex. If you are a smoker, you are advised to seek accommodations elsewhere.

We comply with the state of Hawaii in collecting and paying taxes. Our GET License and TAT Certificate ID numbers are GE (TA)-214-427-6480-01, respectively. We have posted copies of these documents together with our on-island representative contact information in our condominium and will provide that information to you prior to your arrival. The total of these two taxes is 14.25 percent and is applied to the sum of the cleaning and check-in fees ($205) plus the total cost of the rental. VRBO's software automatically calculates this sum when you book the condo.

We had a great time in Maui staying at Joe and Linda's condominium. The condo was very clean, well stocked, had a very comfortable bed and nicely renovated kitchen and bathrooms. The patio is super private and beautifully planted with tropical plants. The retractable sun awning is a great addition and really makes the patio a comfortable place to be. Check in procedure was completely painless, and Joe was available and able to quickly answer my questions. The property is close to the tennis courts which was perfect for us. It is also close to the newer of the two pools. South Maui has some of the best beaches, and this condo was well located in south Kihei close to beaches, shopping, groceries and restaurants. Absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful condo. It has every amenity you need for a fantastic Maui vacation. The location is central to all areas of the island with regards to site-seeing and many beautiful beaches to choose from within minutes of the condo. We enjoyed the outdoor BBQ gazebo to grill out one evening.They had a cooler, beach umbrella and towels. Everything you need to enjoy to go to beach without buying a thing. We loved Ulua Beach for snorkeling. The water is calm and the reef where the sea turtles and many fish to be observed is just to right of the beach and very close shore. A great place for beginners. Not very crowded. I highly recommend this condo, as it was perfect for our first Maui vaction.

This condo was private, quiet and very clean. You can go out on the lanai in the morning with your coffee and the lush vegetation and flowers that surround the table and chairs make it so lovely and private. The hosts have prepared a binder with a lot of recommendations from zip lining in the forest, a sunset dinner cruise, to many different locally run restaurants with their personal opinion’s as well about them, which is very helpful. If this is your first visit to Maui and you are not too sure what to do this binder is very informative. Also has a lot of information on roads and directions to grocery stores an excellent source for anything you need. There are some business cards at the front door and we made sure to forward them to close family and friends. We will definitely book with these friendly, personable hosts again!

Quiet and peaceful setting with beautiful gardens and a lovely condo. Neighbor noise was minimal, a/c was cold, easy access to highway and local shops, nice and clean pool, all the amenities needed were covered! Definitely recommend staying here and enjoying all Maui has.

Thank you Joe for letting us stay in your condo. This was a fantastic location on the main strip in Kihei, within walking distance (2KM of Wailea and less than 1KM from a few restaurants such as Coconuts, the Cinnamon Roll Place among others.) easy access to one of the two pools on the property and with the fans on you do not need to put the AC on. There is a nice breeze from the two lanai doors being open. Everything you need for the beach, chairs, towels, cooler, umbrellas. You do not need to bring it. They have it! I had a hard time choosing a place to stay as there are so many and it is overwhelming, but I would not hesitate to stay here again on our next trip.

We chose to stay at this condo instead of other options because we wanted someplace that was very comfortable to live in, and we were happy that we did. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped with everything you would need, and the living room furniture is among the most comfortable we have ever had in a vacation rental. The ac and ceiling fans worked well and many lights have dimmer switches which we really like. Both the kitchen and the bathrooms have clearly been updated. The whole experience was comfortable and Homelike, just what we wanted. Communication with the property manager was outstanding, and he bent over backwards to be sure that we had everything we needed. Very close proximity to the pool and grills right outside the door were very convenient.

This place was beyond awesome!! My wife & I stayed here for our wedding week and it exceeded our expectations by far. Place was spotless, modern, well kept, and in a great location. Super bonus: all necessities were fully stocked! Toilet paper, laundry supplies, beach gear (beach chairs, beach umbrellas etc). Kitchen had a full pantry with seasonings, utensils etc you name it. We had EVERYTHING we needed. Thank you host for making our stay comfortable. Hope to stay here everytime I’m in Maui!!!

This condo in the Maui Kamaole complex exceeded our expectations. Everything you need for a wonderful vacation is provided. The attention to detail is unsurpassed. The kitchen was the best appointed of any rental we've ever booked on VRBO. The bathroom linens were wonderful, and the bed was very comfortable. Beach chairs were provided as well as nice and thick beach towels; no need to pack any. The view on the back porch is beautiful; the foilage is lush and tropical. The pool closest to the condo was a getaway in itself, with a beautiful waterfall which was very soothing and relaxing. If you're planning a trip to Maui, this condo is a wonderful place for a single traveler or couples. Mahalo, Joe and Linda!

My wife and I were there for my 60th birthday. The location was excellent. It was in the back (the M building) away from traffic and noise. The property was clean and quiet. Everything we needed was there: beach chairs, noodles, a cooler, seasonings for food and a great book that had info about nearby restaurants and attractions. We highly recommend this property for a couple visiting paradise.

Joe and Linda have a beautiful condo. They provide everything you will need. You have towels, cooler, all cooking essentials, a safe, washer dryer, perfect mattress, beautiful showers, updated condo with beautiful furnishings, all cable channels, Netflix, Amazon prime tv. I’ve stayed in Maui several times. Kihei, Kaanapali area several times I’m so happy i chose his condo. You will love the place don’t hesitate to book here. You can walk out the property to the beach across the street it’s a good walk because he’s at back end but still only a few minutes to beach. Joe is right there to answer any questions with text. Best place I’ve stayed in Hawaii. Joe fixed this place up for him to start not rentals top of the line everything

Joe and Linda have a gorgeous well maintained condo with top of the line appliances and finishings. We loved the spacious layout and even though it has air conditioning we found the airflow from sliding doors and fans kept it lovely and cool. The communication was clear and very quick to respond to questions. they have information on the condo plus restaurants and things to do. We liked the location in a quiet area at top of hill. We walked each day to the beaches and watched the sunsets and whales from Kam 3 or Keawakapu. We would highly recommend this property and would absolutely stay here again!!

The condo was spotless & very attractive. We ate breakfast each morning on the backyard private lanai which is awesome. TV's have lots of channels, bed & pillows are very comfortable, fans are in every room & kitchen was well stocked. It's a great condo!

This was our first trip to Maui and it did not disappoint, we loved every minute of it!! Joe's and Linda's apartment was just the perfect place for our trip, located in the south side of Kihei, at walking distance to a few beautiful beaches and only a short car ride away from others like Wailea, our favourite spot for snorkeling, Maluaka aka turtle town, Makena, etc. The place itself is super nice fully refurbished were you'll find all you need for your stay including, beach towels, beach chairs, etc. Joe gave us some great tips for restaurants and places to visit before hand which contributed to make our stay even easier. All and all we loved staying at Joe & Linda's place and cant wait to come back!
