Being newbie-visitors to Hawaii, it was a great experience from start to finish. Good communication with property manager (Brandie) & the unit was exactly as described, plus location was excellent with convenient access to lots of shops & restaurants, and is also very close to the beach. We rented a car during our stay so parking spot with the unit was phenomenal! Would definitely recommend! :)

The unit was clean and had all of the necessities if you're wanting to cook while staying. The unit is within walking distance to the beach, a TON of shopping, and restaurants. Brandie was easy to get a hold of if we had any questions. The parking spot included with the Unit was the cherry on top (we had a Jeep and it perfectly).

Great location, easy to get to freeways, grocery stores, etc., and unit was clean, kitchen stocked with dishes, pots and pans. Coffee maker was great.

This condo provided everything we needed for our Hawaiian getaway! Great to have parking included. Kitchen was stocked making it easy to have breakfast and coffee on the balcony. Enjoyed the sunrise on the balcony and the sunsets from the open breezeway at the end of the hall. 21st floor is impressive. Super close to Waikiki beach, shopping and restaurants. Unit was clean, comfy bed and nice bathroom. Brandi, the property manager was lovely to chat with. Would definitely book this unit again!

Excellent place to stay with tons of food options. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony looking at the partial ocean views.
Lots of storage space to accomodate the floorplan throughout.
Excellent communicaton with Brandi. She was very attentive!
We will definitely be staying here the next time we are in Waikiki!

We stayed here for 8 nights and were so happy we chose this property because:
1) WONDERFUL PROPERTY MANAGER: Brandie was GREAT! She is very communicative and made the check-in/check-out process seamless. She even took time to check in with us to confirm that we arrived ok and to make sure we were enjoying our stay and had everything we needed. Thank you, Brandie!
2) AWESOME LOCATION: The location is perfect! Just a couple blocks away from the beach, and just steps away from many great restaurants/shopping. Can't beat this Waikiki location!
3) WELL-EQUIPPED, SAFE, AND CLEAN: The unit was equipped with everything we needed to be comfortable and to cook breakfasts and other meals when we opted not to eat out. Unit was clean and the building is secure. It was so nice to have snorkel gear, beach chairs/umbrella/towels available for our use (and even a boogie board, too). The washer/dryer (right down the hall) was useful to do laundry during our 8-night stay. The balcony was also very private and provided a great view of the ocean and a perfect place to have morning coffee and a nightcap at the end of the day.
4) PARKING INCLUDED: Having an assigned parking spot in the garage was so convenient. If you're renting a car, you're definitely going to want to stay at a place with parking. This was perfect.
We would DEFINITELY stay here again!

My husband and I had a great trip to Oahu and our stay at Marine Surf was so smooth. Everything was easy going and we had everything we needed. Brandie provided me with all the information needed before hand with phone call and email which was reassuring as this is my first time using a VRBO. She was also very available over text throughout the stay which was helpful. When we arrived everything was as expected and no surprises, we had a great time. The original reason I sought out this specific place was because we had a rental car for all 10days and having a reserved parking spot is sooooo helpful. This VRBO definitely deserves its 5stars!

Pros - location. Property is 2 blocks from the main Waikiki strip.
Parking included. Really good bonus if you have a car since parking anywhere else can be expensive.
Kitchen. Having bowls, a fridge, microwave etc was good for making breakfast and warming up leftovers.
Bathroom is modern with large shower.
Very nice to have chairs, umbrella and stuff to take to the beach.
Lanai was nice to sit on.
Cons - bed is very soft, so if you prefer any kind of firmness for your bed, this isn't it. It's a mattress with a topper but feels like a blow up mattress.
Bed is very low to the floor. It's frame and mattress and very low so not good if you have back issues or any issues for getting in or out of bed.
Furniture is outdated and the drawers catch on each other.
Air conditioner is very loud.
It's a toss up each night to have the air conditioner come off and on throughout the night or leave the slider door open.
Slider door has no sound barrier from the outside and yes...it is a busy area and can get noisy but you hear it all night and we had to double check that we had actually closed the slider door with all the outside noise.
Overall it was a good stay and communication was good, but good use some improvements.

As some properties in Waikiki are starting to show their age this condo has been nicely renovated. As an added bonus the pool is clean and refreshing after a day at the beach.

I had a wonderful two-week stay at Marine Surf Waikiki! The location was excellent, parking was great (and included!), washer and dryer was right down the hall, having a full kitchen was handy, and the apartment also had beach chairs and an umbrella. The property manager had left detailed instructions on how to get set up quickly and easily, and everything was neat and clean, which inspired me to leave it as good or better than how I found it when I left. Mahalo, Robert and Brandie, for making this a place I am looking forward to returning to!

First off, Brandie is amazing, checking in with me often upon arrival to ensure I had everything I needed. Her attention to detail is unparalleled!
The unit is as described, and astonishingly located in central Waikiki. Regarding personal recommendations, the tiny musubi shop a block to the right as you step out of the building is phenomenal, as is Sam’s on the next block (you can’t miss it - there’s a life size Sumo wrestler statue and picnic benches out front). Sam’s had the best grilled garlic shrimp that I’ve ever had on Oahu, hands-down. The AC in the condo was very effective during the sweltering days. Had the pool to myself almost every time I used it, which was great. Such a nice condo, will definitely try to book it again the next time I visit Honolulu. Five Stars! Thanks, Brandie!

The Marine Surf is a great and convenient building. All the units are virtually identical. This unit is nicely updated with some white water views from the balcony. It is very well stocked. We had a great time!

I loved my stay here. 10/10 would recommend. It was a perfect home base for my trip. The washer and dryer being so close was really nice. It had everything I needed and was close to multiple stores if I needed anything else. Having a parking space was so convenient and the location is within walking distance to so many things in Waikiki. Plus walking around is one of the best parts of being in Waikiki. The elevator to the 21st floor is really fast and both the host and Brandi were very helpful, kind, and responsive. I will stay here again if it is ever available (it rarely is)!
*Side note (not by fault of this VRBO): If you have a much later flight than your checkout time, the staff at the front desk will not hold your luggage. Just good to know ahead of time if you have multiple hours to kill. There is a place down the street that you can pay to hold your luggage though. I did not have to use it, but it is an option.

Located right next to the mall, top good spots, and Waikiki beach. Also comes with a parking spot, internet, TV, kitchen, lanai, and easy communication with property manager. Great location about a 5 minute walk from the Royal Hawaiian and Waikiki Beach. Easy access by car and a dedicated parking spot. Cool little restaurant (Heavenly Island Lifestyle), plus a nice assortment of funky local eateries all within a few steps of the building main entrance. Good elevators whisk you to the 21st floor where the lanai offers really nice views and good breezes. The little studio apartment is very comfy, complete with kitchenette and bathroom with a large tile shower. Nice place. Plus there’s a nice pool on the 4th floor that we used several times and always had it to ourselves.

Place was just great, just the back sliding door didn't close but beign in the 21st floor it didn't bottle me. My wife did complain to me about a constant noise coming from the door or AC.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. The location was amazing. You are in the heart of Waikiki. The condo has what you need for your stay. Our only issue was that the toilet kept running after being flushed. My husband had to “fix” it each time we went to the bathroom. Other than that, our stay was awesome. Brandie was very kind and gave us great advice as to what to see and do. I loved hanging out on the lanai. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Property was good for two people close to everything and well equipped. I was able to contact Brandie and she would respond promptly. On our last day there she texted us asking if there was any recommendations we had to make the place better and we provided. Overall a very pleasant experience.
