The condo itself was clean and had every accessory that you could possibly need for a beach vacation. Joe was so easy to work with and responded to me within minutes whenever I reached out to him. He even let us check in a little early on our arrival day! A+++

Everything at this condo was just as stated in the online description, delightfully, there will be no surprises when you stay here. All the extras like chairs, cooler and beach umbrella were great to have. We loved staying here, it was very quiet at the unit itself and just a 2 minute walk to the beach in front. Property was nice and quiet, not too far from a fantastic beach. Great walking trail to multiple properties along the beach and walking distance to great restaurants. Dukes was amazing as was the closer castaway cafe. Condo was clean and well stocked with kitchen and beach items. Bed was super comfortable and the sheets were so nice I found the same brand to buy for at home. Joe was very prompt answering messages and checking in on us before and after our stay. Would absolutely stay here again.

My wife and I went for our honeymoon to Maui. We were a bit skeptical about going since there was a huge fire there but it worked out. This place is amazing. Only steps from the beach, amazing space, amazing tv and my favorite part is the atmosphere of the whole condo. It’s like living in paradise. Will def be coming back next year

Thank you Joe for the fantastic communication and hospitality. We had everything we needed (snorkels, cooler, umbrella) for our daily adventures and the room was so comfy. Maui Kanapaali Villas was the perfect place for a getaway with my sister. This place is a gem - we will definitely be returning again! You must try the banana bread French toast at Castaway Cafe and the free morning coffee is a welcomed treat!

The condo is AMAZING! This was our first trip to Maui and the location, cleanliness, layout, staff….everything exceeded our expectations! Met several other couples that only stay at this resort, too!

Enjoyed the location - used the trolly to explore the rest of Kannapali Beach, Whalers Village and a trip to the Hyatt Regency to attend our Grandson's wedding. Easy access to restaurants and not far from old Lahaina. The beach is beautiful - we saw turtles and whales! Need to mention the beach supplies! There are beach mats, an insulated lunch bag and small cooler for your outings. They also have beach chairs, boogie-boards, sand toys, noodles, beach umbrellas, and a hats along with assorted snorkeling gear. Very nice not to have to rent these items. The resort does charge an additional fee of $25 per day which covers parking, beach/pools towels and other resort amenities. Thank you Joe for your quick responses to our questions.

My husband and I along with our daughter stayed a few additional nights in Maui and this condo was perfect for the 3 of us. The host was so accommodating, he let us check in early and took great care to leave the condo stocked with beach chairs and umbrellas and little extras on top of that! This property is a perfect way to enjoy the island. It's homey, personal and relaxed, with a quiet beachfront.

We have stayed in a variety of units at this property for the past 25 years. In fact, at one time our family were owners. It is an excellent location with a quiet beach and many amenities. This unit has a well equipped kitchen, nice beach chairs, and pretty garden view. The decor is in need of a refresh; however, it is well priced compared to other units at the resort.

We would give this trip an overall 4.6 out of 5! What a fantastic and affordable trip. The bed was awesome and I loved all the little touches. The aloe came in handy after I got a little to much sun. Joe provided a nice guide book that was so helpful. Maui is such a beautiful place to be! We were able to cook in a few times and that was nice. My only wish would be if it was closer to the ocean. It is a short walk but it's not a bad walk. Two nice pools and hot tub makes for some good relaxation. I would recommend this place to any of my friends.

Joe’s property was even better than expected! Spacious condo on the ground floor with resort amenities such as clean pool/beach towels daily and free(delicious)coffee in the lobby. We felt at home with access to a stocked kitchenette and all the beach supplies you could need!!! Best of both worlds and definitely helped on a budget.
The beaches in front of the hotel are amazing. Great snorkeling right at airport beach, and we LOVED doing the beach walk up to Whalers Village where they had Joey’s Kitchen and lots of other food options at varying price points and great shopping. Less than a 25 minute walk with incredible views. We didn’t take advantage of the trolley as the walk was so nice - but saw it running pretty consistently!
We were pleasantly surprised and would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone.

The location, parking, complex and pool were superb. Highly recommended if those things are the most important to you.
Not so great - the shower was dirty, it's a little dated, not too many "extras" you would expect like hand soap, sanitizer. Also the neighbors were smoking weed indoors and was coming through the vents. Hopefully that isn't a common occurrence because maintainance wasn't able to help us.

Wanted to be out of the crowd, romantic and close to surf. This place was all of these things plus awesome host! The villa had snorkels, beach chairs, iron for my nice shirt, and condiments for food. Super romantic. I my wife cried when she heard the whales when she swam underwater. We will be back. Is this place for sale, Joe?

The property and the location were great, perfect for a couple or even two kids with a great pull out bed in the coach. The pool and spa are a quick 30 feet walk and with the beach access right around the corner with a 2 minute walk it’s great. IF LOOKING FOR A GREAT BREAKFAST MUST GO TO THE PLANTATION.

We came to this location for a staycation for my daughter's sixth birthday. We had such an amazing time and the location of the unit is ideal as It is close to all the lobby, pools and beaches. We cooked almost all our meals there and the kitchen was well stocked with everything that we needed. Bbq grill is right down the way as well as the laundromat which we used several times. The king bed was extremely comfortable and the air conditioner worked very well which was key for us. Highly recommend this place and we will be back!

We love the location of this unit with all the amenities. The new bed is very comfortable. Thanks Joe! The owners are very easy to deal with. We quite enjoy sitting on the lanai in the mornings drinking our coffee, watching and listening to the variety of birds. The resort is in a great location. We love the pools and enjoy floating in the ocean...very beautiful and relaxing. We have stayed in this unit several times before and love it. We will definitely be back!

Not even hurricane Lane could ruin our perfect vacation! The owner was always quick to respond to any of our questions or requests. The unit was clean and well stocked when we arrived. There were plenty of beach items in the closet including two full face snorkel masks. MKV is the ideal place for a family trip and the units first floor location allowed our children to go in and out of the unit to play on the lanai our in the grass. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and cooking items allowing us to save big $ after a stop at Costco. By the end of the trip we found that this units location on Kaanapali beach gave us access to the best beach and snorkeling on the island. If we could give this unit 10 stars for value we would!

We had an incredible stay at this condo! We have always enjoyed staying at the Kaanapali Villas due to the beautiful beach, pool, and grounds. The condo was very clean and had everything in it that we needed. The kitchen had everything we needed. There was plenty of beach gear (4 sets of snorkels and fins, 2 beach chairs, ice coolers, boogie boards, floaties, noodles). The bed was very comfortable. We spent the mornings out on the lanai which was very peaceful and had a great garden view (being on the 1st floor was nice). The owner, Joe, was great and was very helpful with his e-mails.
