We loved our unit! Having coffee and cocktails on the balcony was a perfect way to start and end our day. We loved watching the outrigger canoes each day. The location was easy to get everywhere. We could take long walks on the beach. We loved having a kitchen and 2 bedrooms. We spent 13 nights so having our own space was important. Highly recommend this unit!

This was our very first time on Maui, and our stay was delightful. A large part of what made it so great was our condo. The location is lovely with great views. The condo is well supplied with about anything you could need. The furniture, decor, and overall style of the condo felt like Hawaii and was like new. Beds were comfy with plenty of pillows. We would...actually, will stay here again. Mahalo

The condo had an excellent lanai overlooking the ocean and the Kihei Canoe Club site. Roosters greeted us every morning! Conveniently located without traffic congestion. All in all, a very nice location and beautiful condo. Aloha!

This was our first trip to Maui. This condo is a perfect location, we watched the canoe club go out every morning as we drank coffee on the porch. Such beautiful views out the master bedroom also. Kids room window faces the walkway/entrance so we didn’t open that as much. Best shaved ice on the island is across the street, which was a huge plus for afternoon cool downs after a long day at the beach. The condo was great for our family of four (4yr old and 7 yr old). Clean and has all the basics. They have beach towels, coolers and beach chairs. We did end up buying our own umbrella and a few sand toys at Walmart which wasn’t hard to do (tip: hit Walmart and target when you land so you don’t have to drive back there mid week). The beach at the condo was great for long walks but not really a set up and stay for the whole day. Our fav beach for kids was Wailea public beach, it’s free parking, it’s shallow and gentle waves and you can rent paddle boards/etc from the hotel booths near the beach. Will for sure be returning!

This little condo was perfect for us. Right on the beach and right at the water’s edge. We could hear the surf all day long and it acted as white noise for sleep! The views are beautiful. The interior was spotless and there were plenty of towels and extra pillows and bedding. I loved that there was a stackable washer/dryer ( worked very well!) and that the bathrooms had nice walk-in showers. The kitchen is updated and well-appointed. The twin beds in the second bedroom could be upgraded to at least one full size in place of one of the twins to accommodate bigger kids or grandma. :) But what you’ll find is exactly as listed. This resort management company, Alli’i, has a good crew. I saw them around the building all week keeping things tidy and working well. The staff are incredibly responsive to calls. I will look for Ali’i resorts for our future stays. A plus for the location: the area is more rustic (not resort-ish) which was what we wanted. There is a farmers market across the road and it was delightful! Local people selling local food and goods. So friendly!! The Açaí bowls and smoothies were perfect. Next door is a canoe club. On Tuesdays and Thursday’s visitors can get a seat in one of the outrigger-type of canoes to go out whale watching or paddling. Go online early to reserve and pay for the seat. It was a phenomenal early morning experience. The canoe club members were so sweet and friendly. Shout out to their work in the community! And finally, depending upon how you feel about chickens and roosters- remember that this is a rural location.- roosters WILL greet you in the mornings just before sunrise with their calls. You may get used to it, but light sleepers should bring ear plugs :) it’s part of the charm.

This place is a must stay. Perfect for whale watching. Listening to the waves at night will put you to sleep. Perfect 2 bedroom/2bath. Enough room for 4 people! We will definitely rent here again. The 4 beach chairs was a great surprise.

Communication was great and property manager was responsive and helpful on area questions. Property was clean and well stocked. Right on a beautiful beach and a great local produce place right across the road. Everyone had a great time!

We were EXTREMELY pleased with the unit and the location. Right on the water, sandy beach, pool, small grassy lawn with loungers for sunbathing. Great 180° views up and down the beach from the balcony and from inside ---- it's an end unit with large side window in dining area and full glass wall at the end. Waves crashing below. Quiet area. Ample parking. Centrally located to island's attractions. Keihe's shopping and very good restaurants nearby (a couple miles). Everything inside was comfortable, clean, and in working order (apparently recently updated). Fast wireless internet and TVs in bedrooms as well as living room. AC had no problem keeping the place cool. (Our visit in late August was hot with very little rain.) Washer and dryer in the hall. Big refrigerator with good ice maker. Quiet dishwasher. We spent a lot of time on the balcony where there is a table with four chairs. It's orientation is westerly ---- the chairs were in shade all morning and until about 2:30 in the afternoon. Should be a great spot perfect for whale watching in winter months. Checkin was contactless. Combo lock, no keys. Unit is #510, 5th floor, with good elevator. It's a 2Br, set up for a couple and two singles. We were only a couple so it was especially comfortable.

The condo was very nice. The views were beautiful! It was fun watching the canoe club go by each day. The location was great, and the beach was nice and fun for long walks. The condo’s A/C would only cool to 78 degrees. We had to keep all the windows open for cross breeze. The property managers brought us extra fans, so we enjoyed the open windows and ocean air vs A/C. If A/C is important to you, pick another unit. If it doesn’t matter, this unit would get 5 stars!

Checked in on Nov 1 - they were working on Chiller so no A/C - rolled with it - told to leave blinds closed to keep heat out - by Nov 4th tired of coming back to a unit that was over 80 degrees and sent a note to mgmt - they said they had several complaints, were working on the chiller again Nov 8 (so another day with no air blowing - let alone cold) and would give a refund of some sort (no offer for other unit or property with air) but wouldn't name an amt. Had me talk to mgr who then said I had to talk to person who referred me to mgr on the 8th. No calls on the 8th until I called them - they didn't know if employee I was looking for came to work or not that day. It was 84 at 5:30 (still 80 to 8:00) and no options of what we could do and still no amount for refund which is a stop gap at best - didn't make us enjoy the unit any more if I'd gotten money and was getting strung along and runaround from mgmt. On the 9th (when we were checking out) Susan started out with offer for 10% of cost $250 - no way - came back with $550 - for 2 days with chiller being shut down and the other days where the unit wouldn't cool to outside temps let alone cooler (my definition of AC) that's not enough either. I had my 80 y/o mother on her birthday trip sitting in a hot unit being told to keep blinds closed (so much for the views I paid for) and to open the doors and windows. Scotty from property mgmt came out on 8th at 8:30 pm and agreed it was hot. Susan grasped to the fact I said it cooled to 69-72 at 5:00 am (morning!) that they considered 72 air conditioned. I do too if that's in the PM but when it's outside temp or hotter - no way. Currently being protested via HomeAway and if no satisfaction there will go to credit card company. Unit is exactly as pictured and is lovely as well as the property and the views if we'd gotten to enjoy them (told to keep blinds closed) but dealing with no AC when it was part of the contract and then either no offer or ridiculous offer from property manager, Angelina, her "manager" Sam, Susan from the office (don't know role) and Asst. Director Marci I'd say skip this property - took away from the Aloha relaxing vacation I was looking for and was more than willing to pay for if I'd received it.

We just got back from our wonderful vacation in Maui with our two grown up kids and we all loved our beachfront condo in Kihei. The view is really incredible. We enjoyed all our breakfasts and most of our dinners on the corner balcony. Beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is fully equiped and we appreciated having a welcome supply (toilet paper, kleenex, dishwasher detergent, etc.) that lasted all our stay. Four beach chairs, beach towels and a small cooler are provided with the condo. It's perfectly located with 10 minute access to safeway and 15-30 minute access to virtually everything else (airport, Costco, Wailea, Lahaina, Paiha). Our tour to Molokini with Blue rafting and our Haleakala bike tour with Haleakala Biking Company were amazing experiences. People at Alii Resort are just great. They welcomed us at our arrival, phoned the first morning to make sure everything was ok and promptly responded to any service call. We had a small problem with our safe and they quickly fixed it. The only downside about this condo is the air conditioning that is not very strong but if you leave the shades closed during the day and you use the shared BBQs instead of the oven it's not a problem to sleep well. We truly recommend Kihei Beach 510 and would come back without any hesitation. M. Duhamel, Montreal, Canada.
