We've stayed in the Waikoloa Beach area multiple times in the past, but this was our first time at the Waikoloa Beach Villas. To be fair, the complex is not on the beach, but is a 10-12 minute walk away. Check-in / check-out were seamlessly easy via the management company's mobile app. The unit and garage space were very well equipped for all of our vacation needs. For full disclosure, I would like to point out a few minor issues/observations during our stay: 1) after our first night in the unit, we were awoken to the sweet sounds of chainsaws at 5:30am across the way at the King's Shops as work crews were trimming trees in the area (I guess it makes sense, given how hot/humid it gets during the day, so maintenance creaws have to get their jobs done before then. And, if you walk through the WB complex, you'll notice it takes an 'army' to maintain the vision of 'manufactured Hawaii' all around you), 2) the bed in the master bedroom was big, but severely sagging on each side (think inverted 'V'). The severity of the sag on either side was quite comical, but navigable. And 3) there is no door to separate the master bathroom from the master bedroom. So, if your partner uses the bathroom in the middle of the night (separate water closet with a door), then goes to wash their hands, unless they have night vision, they will need to turn on the bathroom light, flooding the bedroom with light in the process. Again, these were very minor issues that did not diminish our stay one bit. If we were to visit the Big Island, we would not hesitate to ask for this unit/complex again.

Convenient to shops and restaurant. Nice to have both third floor with our friends. Nice to have all the amenities both inside the house and in the garage. Nice to have a garage to park our car. Michelle was great to work out any issues that we had during our stay.
A few constructive feedback: the elevator was a little scary and made strange noises that made us uncomfortable to use. We did miss having music at the pool. We were asked to turn off the music when no one was there, even though we were playing soft music.
Overall a very nice place to stay but we wish it was closer to the beach. We are use to Resort stay and missed having easy access to the beach.

This condo is in a great location in a beautiful resort. It is very well cared-for and was very much a home away from home. We enjoyed our stay immensely and highly recommend it for couples or families who want to stay in Waikoloa Resort.

The property manager Michelle was wonderful, very responsive, very professional, for her, a 5 - star rating. All of the mattresses definitely required an update. And there were still trash in the trash bin in the master bathroom under the sink by the door which the cleaning staff might have forgotten to take out. The property is a bit far from the places we wanted to check out but that is my fault for not doing enough research before booking.

Overall we had a great stay. Right next to the Queens and Kings (literally across the street). Nice surprise was the elevator up to the 3rd floor. Very helpful after twisting my ankle pretty badly while hiking. The master bed was comfortable and the apartment overall is very nicely upgraded. 1 unwanted surprise was the thermostat is restricted to a low of 72 degrees. We are used to a much cooler nighttime bedroom temperature. If i had known up front I would have brought a mini fan. The pillows are a little flat for a big guy like me, but I just combined some from the guest room and all was well.

The beaches in Waikola are beautiful! You couldn’t ask for a more beautifully decorated unit that is very homey and comfortable to stay in. Everything you need is here including beach chairs, noodles, and umbrellas.

Welcoming upon entry! Nicely decorated villa, great location across from Kings and Queen Shops. Gourmet market and Starbies a very short walk! Very quiet complex. Garage was complete with chairs and umbrellas, boogie boards, ice chest for the beach. Being its on the 3rd floor there is an elevator. Kitchen is very well stocked with everything you would need to cook. Grill on the lanai is a plus also! Michelle was very quick to answer any questions we had throughout the stay. Much needed get away.

The unit was in great condition well cared for and very nicely furnished. Based on that I'd rank it a 9 out of 10. BUT there was a bit of a bug issue, in late evening there were very small ants and a much larger bug, not sure of the species but kind of creepy. They seemed to be coming from the dishwasher area. Even found them in the dishwasher. All guest should keep the area hyper clean.

My wife and I had enjoyed a quick weekend get away to the big island and this unit was perfect. The only issues we had were running out of bathroom tissue, only 2 rolls in the unit, and having trouble reading the cypher lock on the front door at night. We were given a code to punch into the lock but we were arriving at 10pm and had trouble punching in the code due to the very dark entryway. Beyond that it was great. The unit is very clean and well furnished. There are plenty of beach chairs, fins and masks...etc. The beach is exactly .8 miles away and we never had trouble finding a chair or the sun. I look forward to staying here again and we are actually already booked for a second vacation to a different unit in the same property this January.

This unit is beautifully decorated, the kitchen well stocked. The garage full of beach toys (chairs, mats, boogie boards, snorkeling gear, umbrellas) was priceless!! We saved money on rentals but more importantly we had great flexibility as to our activities - boogie boarding, snorkeling or just being on the beach, we had all the comforts at hand. With three teens, I can't say how much we appreciated having the gear available. This is a third floor corner unit. Nice not to have neighbors. There is an elevator as well as stairs. Convenient 10 minute or less walk to A-bay and its activity center. Shopping, including a well stocked grocery store and food court, across the street. The unit (probably all units) was a bit noisy in the early morning as far as street noise, leaf blowing, garbage trucks and other industrial noise. We had the windows open instead of A/C so that may have contributed. Aside from making the reservations, I did not interact with the management company so can't comment on their services.

Enjoyed this condo and location. Easy to get groceries, etc. from Kings and Queens shopping centers. The condo was well stocked with everything you need. Found all beds need new mattresses - all very soft and bothered our backs. Couch in living room needs to be replaced. Chairs on lanai hard and uncomfortable. Would be nice to have a lower table and more comfortable chairs, same goes for the dining set. Instructions to use tv would be helpful - we had a hard time figuring out when we wanted to watch a basketball game. Very quiet - great to have bbq on lanai.

The Condo was up on the 3rd floor so we got great exercise going up and down (no elevators) but the 3rd floor had nice views over the property from the lanai. We used the great gas BBQ that was on the lanai a few times and ate out there as well, which was wonderful :). The bed was comfortable as were the pillows so we slept well and the bathroom was spacious, clean and had all the basics for our needs! The location was great as well and we could walk to many places including 2 different beautiful beaches, a few restaurants and some shopping. There was one short hiking trail too, right behind the complex that took us over the "Kings Highway" over old lava flow. The pool was lovely and there was a hot tub too but we did not use it as other people were using it at the time. We would totally stay here again! Really a beautiful condo!

We stayed at this property partly because it is a 10-minute walk to the Marriott, where I was attending a conference while my family adventured about Hawaii. I highly recommend it for anyone attending an event at the Marriott or the nearby Hilton who does not want to stay in these hotels.
The unit is quite spectacular, with a number of luxury features including cushy couches, vaulted ceilings, extra-high ceilings, AC, modern kitchens and baths with new appliances, a lanai with a built-in grill and sink. There were ample vacation supplies such as spices, beach gear, boogie boards, a cooler and even a garage. The complex is lovely, with a scenic pool, and very quiet. The unit is on the third floor but there is an elevator which really helps with baggage.
The management company provided all logistical information more than a month before our arrival, simplifying our packing. We had no issues during our stay, and we would definitely stay here again.

Air conditioner wasn't working for 1st few days. Street noise is pretty loud if you have to leave windows open. Ran out of dishwasher pods and laundry soap. Property grounds are really nice. We used one of the pools and had no complaints. Wished there was a walking gate at our end. Was not easy to walk all the way down to the one exit and then go across the street. Condo did have a ton of things for us to use. The king bed really needs and upgrade as well as the pillows. The size of the unit was perfect though. Basically we were satisfied, just thought some of the furniture was getting tired.

This felt like a home away from home and had everything we needed to accommodate our stay. Very charming and spacious condo right across the street from shops, market, restaurants, etc. My friends & family love to grill so to have a personal grill on the patio was an extra bonus. The garage had beach gear, chairs, sun umbrellas and more which saved us from buying our own. No complaints about the property as it was kept very clean inside and out. One thing to note is there seemed to be a private event on one weekend evening where fireworks went off close to 10pm right across the street. Caught us early sleepers off guard but was a fun surprise once we figured out they were fireworks! We would definitely rent here again when returning to Waikoloa.

This was our first visit to the BI. We were suppose to visit in June 2020 but was able to roll it over with ease to 2021. Thank you!We loved the condo. It was clean, comfortable and everything we needed for 6 people for 11 days. We all cook so there was everything we needed. Having the BBQ on the Lanai was the best! We also had the rented the condo next to us as there were a total of 12 people so this was fantastic. Having all the shops and stores nearby was very handy. Not knowing the area it was perfect. 20 minutes from the airport and Costco's. 10 minute walk to the beach or you can drive and park which we did as we had lots to carry. Yes the gas station is across the street but was never a issue. This area seemed quiet considering what was around us. If we had a complaint it would be the the chairs on the lanai were uncomfortable. When in the condo we spent 90% of our time out there and having comfortable seating would have been nice. The lounge was the only comfortable seating. Thank you for sharing your home.Will definitely come back.

The three of us really enjoyed our stay in this condo. It's well furnished with spacious rooms (including the master bathroom and walk-in closet), a wonderful lanai with a BBQ where we had all our dinners, and a great location. The kitchen has lots of dishes, pots, pans, and accessories, including knives that actually cut something (which we have found difficult to find in other condos). The location right by the Kings and Queens shops and restaurants and walking distance to A-Bay is also excellent.

Condo is located in excellent location near the entrance ro Waikola and numerous shops and restaurants. Walking distance to many places. Third floor location is nice as no one is above you. Elevator is convenient. The pictures on the website were very accurate. The unit is very well equipped and in excellent condition. The lani is nice, but it would be better if it was larger to accommodate more lounge chairs. The faculty has 2 pools and a nice fitness center. The barbeque grill on the lani was very nice. My wife and I had enjoyed a quick weekend get away to the big island and this unit was perfect. The only issues we had were running out of bathroom tissue, only 2 rolls in the unit, and having trouble reading the cypher lock on the front door at night. We were given a code to punch into the lock but we were arriving at 10pm and had trouble punching in the code due to the very dark entryway. Beyond that it was great. The unit is very clean and well furnished. There are plenty of beach chairs, fins and masks...etc. The beach is exactly .8 miles away and we never had trouble finding a chair or the sun. I look forward to staying here again and we are actually already booked for a second vacation to a different unit in the same property this January.

Thank you for such an amazing stay! This vacation rental exceeded our expectations. We come to the Big Island often and have tried staying in several different condos and this is by far my favorite. It looks to have been furnished by an interior designer, which really gives it that really comfortable feel. I also love the oversize bathtub in the master bath as well. There is a BBQ and seating area on the back patio which is nice. The entire condo was impeccable and was really clean. I can't wait to stay here again!

The condo was great for us. Location was perfect and the grounds were very nice. The only concerns we had were trying to contact the management company. Messages were left a few times regarding the A/C. We finally got a response after going to the office and finding out that the screen door has a A/C sensor on it. Once we were made aware of it, we had cool evenings to sleep. The management company did compensate us for this inconvenience. Communication by the management company could be improved.

Really enjoyed the convenience of the condo. Nice kitchen and BBQ, washer/dryer, even the garage. Fantastic location across for stores and short walk to beach. Can't wait to go back.

We came down for a wedding and having stayed at Waikoloa before we were familiar with the area, but his condo exceeded our expectation. It was a great location, easy to access from highway, close to the king and queen shops along with the Marriott and Hilton. The condo was very clean, spacious, and had a very island atmosphere. We had everything we needed, our favorite was the garage and that it was filled with beach gear which we used almost everyday. The grill on the lana'i was also a favorite as we used it quite often. The lana'i had an open view being a corner unit which gave us privacy. We would stay in this condo again and highly recommend it. Mahalo

This condo is beautiful; perfect location for your stay on the Big Island! Everything has been thoughtfully provided by the owners that you could possibly need to feel at home. Professionally decorated condo on the top floor of this unit will not disappoint, you won't want to leave - it's Hawaii after all!!!
