The prooerty was well cated for and had everything we needed and then some. Hide a way beach was a short trek down on an easy path that was breath taking. The sunsets from oir lanai were po ture perfect wvery night along with an evening swim and soak on the hot tub.
The beds were comfy and the selection of pillows worked put. We enjoyed cookinh for pirsleves, pic nic ing every day and only had to bring one carry suit case each period..thanks to ability to wash and wear through out the week.
We enjoyed oir stay and hope to be back soon

Really enjoyed this rental. The location was great and was nice to have AC. I liked the extra equipment they had to use including the beach chairs, umbrellas, and cooler however multiple chairs were broken but no a huge deal. Overall I would definitely stay here again.

We loved everything about our stay: the cleanliness of the condo, location (view of the ocean and stunning sunsets just around the corner), and proximity to the Hideaways Pizza Pub. Although there is a paved path to the beach, it has steep inclines. It is more a hike than a walk to the beach, which we were not prepared for the first time we did it. We also had to ask to find the path since it is located at the front of the complex. The only issue we had was when we arrived: all the AC units and fans were off, so it was very hot inside. It took several hours to bring the temperature down. Other than that, this was a great location and we enjoyed our stay!

There were roaches and mosquitos in the unit. The contact numbers for management did not answer their phones. It was the emergency/ after hours # but they were eating dinner and called us when they were done. Glad it wasn’t a true emergency but just an after hours call.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The lanai was the perfect place for a morning cup of coffee and for watching the sunset after a day playing around the island. This place was perfect for teens as well with beach and trails access steps away. Thank you!

Everything about this condo is great. Location, the indoor and outdoor space as well as the view. Could not have asked for more and would definitely recommend to families needing a 2 bed/2 bath condo for their trip. Well stocked and has washer and dryer too. Super easy check in process plus it comes with a concierge service as an added bonus.

The condo was lovely and location great. There were chairs for the beach and everything we needed including a washer and dryer in the unit which was a bonus. The only negative was the dishwasher filter which may never had been cleaned out since purchase. Once it was scrubbed the dishwasher cleaned better, but it needs more attention that we could give and frequently cleaning. We have found this a common problem in rental units unfortunately. The actual rental process was quite confusing with the real estate company as a well as booking .com involved and and excessive amount of paperwork to get the job done. There also were excessive and repetitive emails, often several per day, from the time we rented and even after we had completed our stay. Once I actually was able to talk with ReMax the staff, they were very helpful but there was way more work than a regular rental. We had a great time here and the sunsets there were amazing. Overall I would highly recommend this rental but it would be nice to have the other minor issues addressed.

My family and I had a great stay at this comfortable condo. The views of the lush lawn and the ocean are amazing. I miss the breakfasts out on the lanai. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable and huge. Loved the beach chairs and cooler and sand toys. The pool was closed, but otherwise everything was super easy and made for a great vacation.

We had a wonderful time! The condo was very comfortable and the Ocean view and sound of waves were relaxing. The condo was very clean and quiet, with all the amenities we could want. Loved having a washer/dryer. We had some of the best pizza ever just steps away at the Hideaway pub. Also loved the Nene families roaming the property (which we did not see other places on the island). Very good communication with hosts, and quick attention to a small glitch in Wi Fi was fixed rapidly. Overall, a wonderful place to stay, I hope to return soon.

Lovely place to call home while visiting the island. Well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. Beach chairs, umbrella, rain umbrellas, cooler, body boards. Fluffiest towels ever! Beds and linens are so comfortable! Plenty of a/c units and fans to keep each room comfortable to everyone's liking. Such a quiet neighborhood. Plenty of parking, with an easy walk to the front door. Pool is a short walk. Best of all, the view! The photos are accurate but you can't feel the coziness of the sofa as you sit and enjoy the view.

My family stayed in this little condo last week and loved it! We love the beautiful north shore of Kauai and this property and grounds are so beautiful. We used the private beach access trail and spent time snorkeling at Hideaways beach. We saw so many sea turtles! The A/C units kept up with the warm days (3 total in the condo) and the beds were comfortable. Perfect for our family of 6 we will definitely come again!

Parent with two teens enjoyed our trip to Kauai. Condo gave us perfect amount of space and we loved the pool. Kitchen is well equipped. Bed and shower were comfortable.
Small maintenance is needed to replace light bulb in shower, reattach loose outlet cover in living room, and shades need to be replaced (some missing.)
Air conditioning units help, but aren’t quite enough at hottest time of day despite keeping blinds shut all day. We were there in august, so probably not an issue much of year.

Great view of the ocean. Great layout. Wonderful lanai. Loved the northwestern orientation of the building, beautiful cool mornings. Ceiling fans, louvred windows and some use of lower floor AC unit helped cool lower living space during afternoon/evenings. Upper bedroom did not get cool enough to sleep until quite late. Hideways Pizza Pub is on the property. Pizza and salads are good. Would stay again.

We had a great vacation in Kauai...our first in three years since covid. The condo was perfect. Clean, tastefully decorated and in the perfect location. We loved our ocean view and walking to the cliffs edge to watch the sunset every night. The complex does not have an open flame BBQ on site, so that was a minor quibble. And the room did get a little hot when the sun was dead enter in front. But we learned to anticipate that and cool off accordingly. Overall a lovely trip and we'll definitely be back!

Mostly I was quite happy with my stay: the place was reasonably clean and maintained, with decent furniture, and for the price, was actually excellent. The location was great, too. There are only two issues that were of any real concern to me: 1) As a woman who was staying there alone, I was conscious of security, and felt that breaking into the front door would've been quite easy. 2) The place did not have air conditioning which I have found to not normally be an issue on Kauai, but in this condo at this time of year, it did render the second floor (containing one of the two baths and bedrooms) completely uninhabitable because of the heat. Fortunately, since it was just me staying there, I just didn't go upstairs, but for anyone who would plan on using that second floor, it would've been misery for them because--no exaggeration--the temperture would rise to over 100F up there during the day. Even on the main floor where I remained during my stay, the temperature would be about 85F during the day with all the windows open to try to catch the cooling breezes, but with not enough help from that with an outside temperature in the high 80's to low 90's. Otherwise, the place was pleasant, clean, well-located, with decent amenities, and suited my needs very well -- especially since I didn't need to use the otherwise unusable upstairs bedroom and bathroom.

We spent a lot of our time hanging out on the balcony whale watching. Staring at the water for only 10 or 15 min you would be sure to see whale activity. We saw multiple breaches and for a even closer view there is a nice hike down to the a picnic area near the water. Overall we were very pleased with our stay.

We arrived after 11 PM and had no problem gaining access to our room. Upon arrival we noticed the carpeting was stained and spotted in L.R. and D.R. Patio door was not on track properly, and patio screen had holes in it. Kitchen cabinets and woodwork looked weathered and worn, and one door did not close. Area around burners on stove was not clean. Floor in master bath was well worn and looked dirty. Tiles on floor of both shower stalls had mold in grout, and shower drains were rusty/dirty. The master sink did not drain properly and the plug did not close. Shower curtain was filthy and the curtain rings were rusty and dirty. We chose not to use the washer and dryer as both appeared dirty inside and out. The upstairs bath mirror was not useable. Due to slanted ceiling the mirror was only a couple of feet tall and went only up to chest level.We awoke to a very pleasant view the 1st morning, and called Jackie @REMX re: the patio door problem(which was taken care of very promptly). The other issues did not seem "fixable" within the short time we were there so we decided to "live" with them. We did not have any issues w/ noise from any of the other units. 241 seemed secluded to us, and we liked the location. Only 1 time did we have parking issues, which I assume was due to business at HideAWay Pizza Pub. We were satisfied w/ the location/view. We spent most of our time away from the unit, but were disappointed in the overall condition of #241 compared to other places we have stayed in Princeville.

We spent a week in unit 241 in October. Great location within Princeville to walk to many beautiful are as such as Queensbath, Hideaway, St. Regis... (I'm sure I'm missing a few) we didn't use the loft/2nd bedroom since it was just the 2 of us, but we enjoyed the space and sitting on the lanai in the morning with our breakfast and coffee looking at the water. I loved having the washer and dryer in the unit. The only draw back is that its set back a little so you don't quite hear the waves. However, its a very clean property and management company was very accommodating.

In general the place was just fine. Good location, clean, not overly-Hawaii themed, OK view, nice patio, decently equipped. However, the wifi was very spotty and did not work well when I most needed it. Also, the property should not advertise for $175 / night when the fees bring you to $250 a night. Just be upfront about the cost of the rental from the get-go. I spoke with many other friends also staying nearby for a wedding and no one else had the extensive fees on top of their room price that we had to pay. Very disappointing to find out that we were "had" and could have stayed at somewhere just as nice for a lower price.

We enjoyed our stay in the condo. the condo is relatively well maintained. The kitchen is well equipped for making meals at home. Having a boogie board to use was nice. Princeville is a great location for enjoying Kauai's North shore. We experienced some unseasonably warm weather while we were there, as the trade winds were not blowing for several days, and the upstairs loft got very hot. The condo gets full sun, so keeping the blinds closed during the hottest part of the day was essential.

We stayed in unit #241 in mid March 2015 and had a wonderful stay. The unit was exactly what we were looking for to house our family of 4. The unit was well appointed, The beds were very comfortable, the unit was clean and contained all the kitchen amenities you could need. The unit even has beach chairs, beach towels and even a boogie board & fins. The television was a newer flat screen, not the one pictured on the website. There was a DVD player as well as great WIFI access. There are plenty of ceiling fans as well as portable fans for cooling. The unit location is perfect for ocean view and ocean cooling breezes. Overall we had a great experience and loved the unit. We will be back in the future.

Location is great, but this unit receives direct afternoon sun (we were there end of June) and gets uncomfortably hot. This complex would be better if there were some bbqs for use. The reason we stay in condos versus hotels is so we can cook our own meals! It was too hot to turn the oven on, and there were no bbqs allowed - so that was very disappointing. They also list accommodations for 6, but only had 4 coffee cups and 4 bowls. The sink in the downstairs bath didn't drain properly and the toilet upstairs didn't flush well. We had to take the lid off and untangle the chain every time we flushed. The carpeting really needs to be replaced - it was very old and dingy. Our refrigerator also broke while we were there, but Remax helped us resolve that professionally and quickly. Overall we had a great time. Hard not to in such a beautiful setting!!'

Finding and gaining access to the rental was easy. The only hiccup we had was that I assumed everything on the island would have A/C. We arrived late afternoon to allblinds and window open and the afternoon sun blazing in. It made for a rough start but as we settled in and the sun set, we enjoyed our stay. Property management was very pleasant and responsive to every question. The unit had nice touches like coffee and cookies and starter laundry soaps, beach towels and chairs. It was wonderful to have space to spread out and a beautiful, quiet patio to relax on. Everything was clean and comfortable. Kauai is simply paradise!

Princeville is a sleepy bedroom community wrapped around a golf course, overlooking the ocean. The views are all-around spectacular. As long as you know nothing you want or need is in Princeville and that you’ll need a car to get out to main road or over to Hanalei for services - then this unit is amazing. The view of the ocean is terrific (and with one minute of walking the sunset view is on point), the unit is clean, the kitchen is well stocked, The beds are comfortable, the water pressure is good, and parking is easy. I have very minor nits of have things I would improve or refresh, but overall this unit is great value and I would rent it again

We loved our stay here. The views from the patio are perfect at all times of day. The resort is lush and green and beautifully maintained. The condo is nicely furnished with a comfy king bed. Would highly recommend. Excellent communication on check in and how to get there. Only drawback is that we had to leave our little slice of Paradise!

It depends on your immediate neighbors. Family below with 3 young boys were extremely loud (!!!) from 5am until bedtime- it was that way for 7 of the 10 days we rented-- but as you can see from my grading-- we didn't let it deter from our time--you just have to roll with it. I have 5-kids (4-boys) of my own so I empathize with the family -- it was just that bad. Hey, VRBO asked me to truthfully review.................

Was a wonderful stay in Princeville. Unit was perfect location and well appointed, we loved being able to walk to the beach and have the whole north side of the island in easy reach. We will definitely be coming back, thanks!

This is one of the nicest locations in Princeville! You are greeted by beautiful light across the ocean in the morning, and in the evenings you can walk across the green space to watch the sunset over Hanalei Bay.
We chose this vacation rental for its location, knowing that is was one of the more affordable units in this complex. With that in mind, we were happy with the condition of the unit. Nothing is high end (except the view) but we knew that since it was priced more affordably. However it was very clean and had everything you could need, including muffin tins... not often available in a vacation rental! The beds were just ok (this is an area that could use improvement) but there were plenty of linens and towels and the sheets were comfortable cotton. AC is available and we used it once or twice in the loft bedroom just to help it cool down for an hour, but in general the breezes from the ocean cool this place down perfectly. It's amazing how much ventilation there is!
Our kids really enjoyed the pool area especially in the evenings and the hot tub is a nice touch. It's a bit strange to have the pool area overlooked by a restaurant but it didn't seem too invasive.
We really enjoyed our visit to Pali Ke Kua and would stay in this vacation rental again.

We left -10 degree weather and 10 inches of snow and felt we had arrived in paradise! (which we had) The condo was located on a cliff overlooking the ocean. At night we could hear the waves crashing below. Very quiet neighborhood, so if you are looking for night life this place is not for you. You will need a car to go places to eat and shop for food. A great place to just chill.

This condo is in a great location with beach access and a nice view. It's very clean with everything you need for an extended stay. We had some issues with the back door and the front door locks not working. It was a little bit of a pain to take all our valuables everywhere we went. We stayed during the holiday so they could not get people to come out and fix it while we were there. I would stay here again.

The view is nice and the location is good. When we got there the kitchen cabinet broke the first time we opened it. It literally fell off on the top hinge. We had to leave it propped open the whole time. The upstairs headboard was held on with zip ties which broke the first time my son leaned against it. The air conditioner doesn’t really cool the place down. All of this was annoying but not really a huge deal for us until the management company informed me they were charging us for damages to the property and did not reply after I explained the situation. I even texted the manager photos after checkout. They also claimed we left trash everywhere but we put all trash in bags since the cans were full. I’m not sure what else we needed to do with them since the guestbook just said to put trash in cans which was not possible. Overall not a great experience.

Loved this apartment! Such gorgeous views of the water from the balcony - absolutely stunning!
The AC unit for the downstairs is located in the dining room but at night when you turned it on, and kept the bedroom fan on, it cooled down pretty well.
We enjoyed easy hikes to hideaway beach and queens bath.. beautiful walks around the gold course!
Would definitely come back to stay here next time around

Great location with stunning views! So much space too. Was hot in the afternoon but only when we first arrived and all the windows were closed. We slept fine at night with fans and the windows open. We would definitely come back!!

This condo is so beautiful. We loved drinking our coffee out on the deck every morning listening to the birds, watching the rain come in and enjoying the ocean. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was great and had all that we needed. There was beach chairs, boogie boards and beach towels to use. They also had lunch bags and freezer packs so we could pack lunches or picnics for the days we were out. It would be nice to have cable in the unit for the evenings we were very tired, there was only three channels. The path down to the private beach is pretty steep, but very worth it once you get down there. We snorkeled down there and saw turtles. The unit was in a great location and we got to see great sunsets every night. I would stay here again for sure.

Perfect location to many beaches, GORGEOUS views of the ocean. House is beautiful, Pool and hottub are great for evenings after spending days at the beach. AC's made the house cool on hot days Perfect for families or couples. GREAT HOUSE, Re/Max response was immediate and very helpful

Condo is nice and in good location for some Princeville sites. Pizza restaurant onsite is good.
Only issue to be aware of is that the lack of A/C requires the windows and doors to remain open most of time to get ventilation (and once that is done the temperature is fine). However, upon arrival everything was closed and had been closed for awhile with afternoon sun shining in. It took at least 6 hours to cool off.

This condo is decorated nicely with a stunning view. Great location in Princeville. We would walk across the grass to look around the corner at the best sunset view on the island. The problem with this condo is it is very hot in the afternoons, especially upstairs as there is no a/c. I normally am not a big a/c person, but it was too hot to be in the condo in late afternoon. Maybe at a cooler time of year it would be ok. In the evening, overnight and mornings, it was fine, even cool especially downstairs. We learned as the days went on (we had an 8 day stay), through trial and error, the best way to try and keep it cooler. Shut all blinds, turn all fans on (Remax brought us an extra). If you are a person that does not like heat, this would not be for you. I would suggest the owner put in a portable plug in a/c upstairs for sure and one down stairs to use in the latter part of day. A couple other problems with a window that would not open and the vertical blinds were a struggle every day to open and close. But location and decor and view were great. They just need to figure out the heat factor. I am forced to supply an answer to would I recommend to a friend..I don't want to say no or yes so disregard the answer. It would be a yes if the heat issue could be resolved bc it was a delightful area, and delightful unit most of the day.

Place was very clean, recently updated, and comfortable with nice view of the ocean. We enjoyed our stay and definitely would stay here again. Location was great for staying in Princeville.
