The house was amazing! The location and pool adjacent to the beach just cannot be beat. House was very comfortable for a family of 9 with 3 kids. During our stay the refrigerator broke and they brought over a replacement with coolers of ice within an hour. The range didn’t work well but was functional. House really could have used AC in the bedrooms for sleep comfort in the summer but overall was an amazing property with very responsive host. I would definitely stay here again.

This House is Amazing ! The location was perfect for us...being able to walk out the back gate and into the water is the best !! the House a wonderful Aloha to it with everything you need. Turtles and Sea Lions on the shore and great snorkeling in the beautiful waters of Poipu. Pool, jacuzzi, Barbecue, Views, close to great restaurants and the greatness of this House is the Aloha feeling we enjoyed with Ohana. We will be back !!!

Unparalleled location; a dream vacation for my family! The home is great for anyone wanting to enjoy the beach without needing to pack the car and dealing with logistics. The house is right there! The pool is fun and we really enjoyed the grill and outside eating area. Can’t wait to come again.

Our family loved the home and the easy accessibility to the ocean. We had a mix of 3 generations and all considered it the trip of a lifetime. Each bedroom had a great view and cooling breezes. The kids loved boogie boarding in the surf while the adults could maintain a watchful eye from the comfy beach chairs and umbrellas. The large kitchen and outdoor grill made for easy meals at home, yet plenty of restaurant choices also. The pool was fun at night for the younger kids who still had energy to drain. Living area seating plentiful enough for all. Perhaps most magical are the sea turtles who share this slice of heavenly sand and surf. Your family would be lucky to stay here. (And if you can, take advantage of a helicopter tour!)

The location of this property is absolutely phenomenal. The grounds are very well maintained. Can’t beat Poipu beach in the backyard. Gina and the crew were amazing to work with. Super helpful in setting up excursions, a private chef (who was fantastic). The house was well stocked with all the necessities, including toiletries. I can’t say enough good things about the property

We stayed for 8 days and have to say the property was everything we had envisioned! The house was clean and ready for our arrival with wine and Kauai coffee as well as cookies for the kids. The accordian doors were a great way to let the breeze in and allowed us uninterupted views of the backyard, pool, beach and that amazing blue ocean. The pool company came a few times and he was extremely friendly , fast and helped fix the hot tub jets switch without complaint.I do have a few suggestions for the management company: Provide more than 7 plates, cups, silverware for a house that sleeps 9. Invest in a new rice cooker that doesnt spew water all over the counter when cooking. Make sure the cleaning staff put the stove top knobs on the correct way so the cooktop works properly.Provide more outdoor garbage cans so those of us that arrive a few days before pick up, there isnt an overflow for the rest of the stay.We highly recommend walking to the Marriott bar, Kalapaki Joes, Brennekes and Little Fish.Living Foods restaurant was the best for breakfast and the new 1849 restaurant was outstanding! A very much needed relaxing time was had by all. We would definately come back and rent again!

We were thrilled with the location of the Beach House. We were steps away from the beach. The downstairs is spacious and there are several areas to have meals, which was well thought out. The house in the common area opened up completely to the ocean breezed (via sliding glass doors), which was beneficial because there was not any air conditioning and the house was kept cool. The concierges services were very good and responsive. Great house and location for families.

Excellent location, fabulous beach & pool. Plenty of yard space to enjoy sunsets/sunrises. Mgmt easy to work with, all equipment and supplies plentiful. Great breezes through house so didn’t need AC in May. Only issue was refrigerator not working well- we bought ice chests to keep food cold. Dishwasher worked well but leaked. Plan on renting again!!

The location and the view are 5+ stars, but the property needs work. The (all white) furniture inside and outdoors is terribly stained, the carpets need cleaning, and many of the windows and doors are difficult to slide/open; with no air-conditioning, you definitely need all windows and doors open at all times. For the price that you paid to stay here for a week, I would think that the owners would take the money from just one or two weeks worth of rental income and put new furniture in. Take another week or two worth of rental income, and put central air-conditioning in the property. Without it, be prepared to sweat all night in your sleep, and to wake up drenched in the morning. You know, a central dehumidifier wouldn’t be a bad idea either.... Also, a paved driveway and walkway to the front door would be beneficial, so that guests didn’t have to sludge through, and track-in mud. Again, beautiful location and incredible oceanfront views. The property has promise, but needs love...The property management agency was very professional, and very responsive to our needs. Mahalo!

The setting for this home is absolutely amazing. You have your own pool and the sandy beach is just steps away. The ocean is perfect for swimming and surfing in this spot. The main floor is welcoming for large groups and good for little kids. The property is well kempt and so useable for games and sunbathing. Needs a new dryer, it's so loud. the refrigerator also needs replacing. That said, we would definitely return.

The view was very good but the home needs a very good cleaning, the furniture is tired and dirty, the entire inside painted, and most of all the home needs an air conditioner. They did bring a couple of small self contained ac units that vented out of the house windows for the 2 bedrooms downstairs which had 80 year old people sleeping in them.
This is not a good home for elderly people because of no air conditioning.

The house is nice, location can't be beat: it's right on Poipu Beach, pool is awesome. You should be aware though: the ocean is on one side of the house, other side is right on the parking lot for Poipu Beach. It tends to be noisy in the evenings and early mornings. During our 8 days, we heard the noise of construction workers at 7:30am, early rising surfers coming for high tide at 6am, and late night young people racing cars and revving engines (loud enough to be heard over the movie we were watching). The latter was well past 10pm, the time we were told were "quiet hours" for the neighborhood, so we did call the police; they were very nice and sent an officer around to talk to the folks. On subsequent nights, there was still plenty of engine revving and racing happening but at least they stopped by 10pm. The Marriott is on one side of the house, so there's a lot of foot traffic as well from hotel guests. The other side is another private house.The house does not have glass windows on most of the windows of the front, the side that faces the parking lot, nor on the second floor also on the side facing the parking lot. There are screens, with very clever slats that you can angle to let the wind in which provides a wonderful breeze (there is no air conditioning but it doesn't matter because of this fantastic breeze). The downside, though, is that you hear ALL the noise extremely well. Including the roosters, which are ubiquitous and begin their morning crowing around 5am. Overall the house was very nice for our purposes. A few things are worth mentioning so hopefully the owners can improve. Hot pads and whisks in the kitchen would be most helpful, as would a smaller cooler to pack lunches in - the current cooler is huge! Also, consider a small courtesy supply of things like sandwich bags & plastic wrap/ foil. The house could have been cleaned better - the bathtub in the masterbath was filthy and full of sand. We found old water bottles under several beds.

This is our second time at the house. We went once before and loved it so much we brought another family during Spring Break. The location is ideal - minutes from great family activities and seconds from the beach! Everyone had such a great time nobody wanted to leave. The house has everything you could need, and the full kitchen and laundry is perfect for traveling with growing kids who need to eat every other minute. Comfortable and beautiful!

This a beautiful home in an absolutely stunning location. The set up of the house maximizes your enjoyment of the ocean views whether you are inside or outside, and the proximity to the ocean can't be beat. The house is also an easy walk to restaurants and shops. We were two families of 4 (8 people total) with teenagers who like to surf. The house was perfect for that size of group, and the kids absolutely loved the location. They said this was the best surfing they had ever experienced, right outside this house. In addition, we saw lots of sea turtles, seals, sea lions, chickens and baby chicks on our beach (or in the case of chickens and chicks, in our yard), which everyone loved. The house does not have A/C, but we knew that going into it and we didn't need it with all of the ocean breezes. We also enjoyed watching the weather changes from the gorgeous view inside the house. Most of the time we had sun but when the occasional tropical rain storm swept through, it was easy to quickly take cover and watch the weather change and that was a lot of fun to see too. The only negative thing is that we seemed to be here during prime mosquito season so some of the tastier folks in our group got devoured by mosquitos. Lucikly the bites were not that itchy, but for those who are prone to mosquito bites, bring lots of bug spray to Kauai. There is tropical foliage everywhere and it lends itself to a lot of mosquitos. There was a run on the bug spray in all the nearby stores at this time of year so we had to hit multiple locations before we were able to find bug spray on the shelves. Personally, I didn't care about my mosquito bites because I was just so blissfully happy being in this beautiful part of the earth. I would happily stay here again and again. The home's concierge was also very helpful and booked an awesome boat ride for us. We all thought it was one of the most fun boat rides we had ever been on.

Worth. Every. Penny. The house itself is amazing and its location can’t be beat. Gorgeous spot right on Poipu beach. The proximity to the resort was a non-issue. The beach itself wasn’t overly crowded and the backyard is elevated a bit so we could hang out on the lanai or by the pool, still see the ocean, and be barely aware that there was anyone on the beach at all. Every single day we saw sea turtles and monk seals right on the beach and whales in the distance. We snorkeled right off the beach. Concierge services hooked us up with an amazing chef for our first night. The rest of the week we cooked fairly elaborate dinners for ourselves. The kitchen could use a pair of pot holders but was otherwise VERY well equipped for our group of eight adults. Would absolutely stay here again!

Fantastic house at the perfect location. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves and waking up to walk to along the beach & watch the sea turtles and monk seals was a great experience. Close to tons of restaurants and shopping centers. The property manager was quick to respond (we didn’t have any issues, just a few questions) & concierge were very helpful booking experiences across the island.
The kitchen had everything we needed & the beach gear was super helpful to have close at hand.

I'm sure you are asking yourself, is it worth it? At least that was the question I asked myself. After staying on this beachfront property for 5 nights, I can tell you it's 100% worth it. Falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean and waking up to a morning coffee view that doesn't feel real, it's amazing that this oceanfront home even exists. Perfect for kids going back and forth from the ocean to the pool to the house and easy for parents to walk outside and simply relax. The beach didn't disappoint as there were monk seals, turtles and the best snorkeling on the island. Your biggest problem will be your motivation to leave the house (Poipu Beach) will be drastically reduced. I joke, but it's true as we did a snorkel cruise and my kids were asking why did we leave 'our beach' as the snorkel cruise wasn't nearly as good. Be sure to enjoy Puka Dog if you book this place and after your trip be sure to book your personal trainer. It's all worth it!

This was a dream home for our family. Spacious living, two beautiful master suites, two additional bedrooms, lots of hangout areas, incredible ocean view to wake up to! You cannot beat having Poipu beach literally right out your back door. It was also a kid friendly home and kid-friendly beach. We had 3 monk seals join us on the beach, went snorkeling every day, and got to see Sea Turtles and Dolphins! The home is super clean and the staff was friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we could need (and more). We'll be back!

We had an amazing vacation staying at this house on the beach. It was so great to have the pool as there was a high surf warning for much of the week. There is a surf shop within a 5 minute walk, and a couple of restaurants within walking distance. Many more restaurants are a 5 to 10 minute drive away, as well as food trucks.The property manager called after our first night to make sure that everything was OK, and we arrived to a nice welcome note/gift.The house itself has plenty of room and everything we could need. We spent most of our time under the umbrellas in the lawn, but they also had beach chairs and umbrellas should you want to set up at the beach or another beach nearby. There were 2 boogie boards available at the house as well.The best part was listening to the surf every night and waking up to it in the morning. My husband also loved walking down the beach in the evenings and mornings to see the sea turtles sleeping. There were sometimes up to 30 turtles!We would love to stay here again in the future, you can't go wrong with this beautiful house!
