The property is exactly how it's as described. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, and such. Has a dish washer. There is a Safeway right across the street for basic needs. Beds are comfortable. The pic of your view is totally spot on. A number of good eats are just down the road. Centrally located for traveling to the North Shore or Lihue and beyond. Ten minutes from the airport. I'd stay here again. Property manager is very responsive.

David's place was great! I could see the ocean from my bedroom window, and in the early morning it was easy for me to walk over to the beach through the back. The lanai was a great space to eat our meals, and I appreciate that David provided beach gear and a guidebook available for use during our stay. The washer and dryer was great to use as well. The place was really close to shops like Safeway and Ross. Wish I had gotten the time to swim in the pool, but maybe next time!

Clean, with everything you need to cook. You can hear everyone else in the concrete condo complex, but people tended to be considerate. Owners sent plenty of information to make check in very easy.

We made sure to fit in the coffee plantation and at least four servings of shave ice. Daily strolls down to the beach and splashing in warm water delighted us. We took time to breathe

Having a reserved parking space at a different building is inconvenient. No AC made a couple of the nights, when there was little breeze, quite uncomfortable and difficult to sleep. Having to leave all the windows open in order to get air flow did not make us feel secure and we could hear everything from outside, including everyone going up and down the stairs to the second level of the condo. The microwave was rusty. The floors were so dirty that we had to wear socks or our feet became dirty/black. There is no real view of the ocean and the beach in front of the condo is mostly unusable. While we were there a barrier was installed for beach restoration further blocking what little could be seen of the ocean. The pool was closed for the first few days after we arrived with no warning or communication. Overall, not a great experience.

This apartment is in a great location walkable to a lot of restaurants and shops. The kitchen was well equipped and everything we tested worked.
Would definitely recommend staying here. It is noisy in the morning due to the window set up, so bring some ear plugs.

We enjoyed our stay. The condo is exactly as described. It was very clean and comfortable. There is a shopping plaza across the street with a Safeway, Starbucks,and other stores. It is a quick drive to the Kapa’a shopping district as well as restaurants.

Everything that we needed for our stay on Kauai. Great location for exploring the island, but the traffic was a disaster (obviously not the fault of the condo, just is what it is). Hopefully that is alleviated when the construction is completed. Great ocean views and and a perfect place to relax and listen to the crashing surf.

Our rental was a perfect jumping off point for adventure. In our short stay, we surfed, snorkeled, and hiked the sleeping giant, and had a great place to come back to each day for reprieve.

Pros:
- One of the best locations in Kapaa; steps away from the ocean/beach and close to a bike/walk trail along the coast. Wake up early enough to watch the sunrise over the ocean. As far as Kauai locations go, this condo complex is one of the best situated.
- The unit is as described. We had enough space for my friend and me, splitting the two bedrooms. The swimming pool is excellent for post-beach or general afternoon sun lounging.
- The unit has enough fans for warm days, and you could be comfortable without AC.
- If you're in Kauai to spend your days outdoors and not care about your living situation, this unit would do just fine.
Cons:
For those who want to enjoy family/friends relaxation while on vacation, there may be better units than this specific one.
- I stayed in this complex the year before, and they had lounge chairs outside, so we could sit whenever we wanted to watch the ocean and read a book or enjoy the ocean breeze. Unfortunately, they don't have lounge chairs anymore. You could use the lounge chairs in the pool area, but the railing obstructs your ocean view.
- The unit is sparsely furnished. There was no shelf space, and we kept our clothes in our luggage or on the chairs since the hangers were rusty. The beds weren't comfortable.
- The TV was small. We couldn't enjoy watching a late evening show after a long day of outdoor activities. One of the couches smelled, so we had to avoid that one, which leaves almost no room for hanging out in the common area.
- If you're used to shoes-off households, this unit isn't for you. The floor was dirty. I wish we had known that earlier.
