We stayed at this little 1 bedroom for two nights. It was just what we needed- a clean, conveniently located landing pad! Sure, it's not the Ritz, but who wants to spend their whole time on Kauai in their hotel room anyway? The bed was comfy, the bathroom roomy, and it had AC. It is part of a bigger condo and is only the master bedroom, with a locked connecting door. But we couldn't hear anything through the door and this didn't bother us at all. The AC was quiet and efficient, and there were also a few fans supplied if needed. There is parking provided. Its just a few minutes (not even) drive to old town, and right on the main drag through town (though set far back, so traffic noise is not an issue), so you can get on the highway and get to your next adventure easily. The host was super communicative, gracious, and just great! End to end, a wonderful experience!

The location is very good, room is convenient, enjoyed the access to ping-pong table and the beach is right outside the property. Wish there was some sugar, coffee, salt etc. basic condiments so we do not need to purchase for just two or three days we are there.

Would recommend this little condo for any pair traveling to Kauai. Great location near downtown Kaapa and right on the beach. Clean apartment and Dave was very helpful!

Overall really nice property and stay in a great location. Hosts were kind and quick to respond. Only complaint would be the Air Conditioner is very loud.. we got used to it after a few days, but the first two nights were a compromise between turning the AC off and not sleeping because it was too hot, or not sleeping because the AC was very noisy. If that gets resolved, it would be perfect!

Me and my friend stayed there for 2 nights - we were absent the entire day and it was enough space for us to share the room for a couple of nights.
There is a little fridge, a microwave, and a coffee maker.
Lots of fans and a new AC, that we didn’t need to use.
The owner was responding to our messages within minutes, and provided lots of instructions for our stay.
We were able to park under the trees close to the unit, without using the designated parking spots that are located on a different property.

This spot was perfect for our stay in Kapa’a. Convenient location next to Safeway and plenty of food options. This unit is not facing the beach but you do have easy access to the beach right around the building. The AC in the unit was good but can be loud. We ended up using the windows and fan during the night and found that to work perfectly for us. The host was very responsive and even reached out to us immediately when we accidentally left something in the room during checkout. Will absolutely stay here again!

The property was perfunctory in serving our needs for a place to rest between excursions. It is beach-front which was ideal for enjoying my morning coffee watching the stunning sunrise and had loungers to relax in while watching the sunset. You can’t ask for more!

I loved the open communication with the host, I would definitely work with this host again in the future. The room specifically was decent. The cleanliness of the room was clean enough and was apparent someone did a once over but I had to wipe a few surfaces off myself. The AC kept making periodic weird loud buzzing so I eventually only got about two to three uses out of it. The door's security was questionable, I was not expecting to question whether my room was locked or not throughout my whole trip. And you can hear everyone everywhere around the room. I heard everything my neighbors on the other side of the door behind the curtains was doing, and for some reason the upstairs neighbors liked to drag furniture around in the mornings. The one window in the room faces the parking and people liked to stand directly outside my window and have full conversations about a meter from where you sleep. Amenities and hosts were great though. Mahalo.

This clean property was perfectly located for all parts of the island. We were able to do everything we hoped to…even with a daily deluge of rain! All the necessities are provided. David was quick to respond to our request for more towels.

Good communication, easy check-in with electronic keypad. No air conditioning. It's a walled off half of a larger unit; there's a permanently locked door behind a curtain that leads to another rented unit. That didn't bother me.
No kitchen. Small closet with a fridge in it.
No view. This unit faces the parking lot. You have to walk around the building to see the ocean. Beach access limited because a storm messed up the complex's beach. But it was fine.
Good price for the location. I recommend staying here, just know that there's no A/C and no view from the unit and no kitchen.

When we were looking to book our trip this unit had no reviews, when we contacted the owner and asked if there could be a discussion on the price since there was no reviews, he raised the price on us. Now for the price we weren’t expecting the Ritz but there are a few things future renters should know. First and most annoyingly, the king bed had queen size sheets so the fitted sheet would snap off the mattress as soon as you touched the bed. This was very infuriating. Also people should know that this is a master bedroom in a multi room condo, with its own entrance, the rest of the condo is separated by a locked door. This means anytime anyone was in the other half of the condo you could hear everything they said as there’s just a door separating you. Also, made the security of the room feel off. The room is very hot with only one window. The owner does provide multiple fans which helps. The fridge was also very loud, and with this unit being on the ground floor facing the parking lot, expected to get people walking by and car lights flashing in your window all night long. The bed frame extends into the walking path of the bathroom which causes you to accidentally smash your toes and knees into the bed frame when entering or leaving the bathroom. There’s no storage space for clothes or activity items so you end up living out of your suitcase instead of settling in.
Some good things about the room. Great location, comfortable bed (besides the sheets) great water pressure and heat in the shower. Overall I wouldn’t recommend unless nothing else was left on the island in your price range.

Stayed for 4 nights. No frills but great value for Kauai. Bed was nice and comfy. Good size fridge with a freezer, microwave and coffee maker. Very helpful to have the coffee cups, plates, silverware and even dish soap. We made breakfast every morning with coffee, oatmeal, fruits etc. Bathroom was great- good water pressure and plenty of hot water. There was a nice hair dryer. We took a bath after a long day of hiking and it was just nice. We had fun playing ping pong couple nights in the common area. The condo is on the beach but the unit itself is facing the parking lot. There are many restaurants within walking distance and Safeway close by. The only issue we had was the upstairs people at that time were very loud, sounded like a 500lb person jumping around even after midnight. My husband had to bang on the ceiling to hint them. Please be considerate of others in a condo setting.. Overall, great value and would stay again. We didn’t get to meet David but he was very quick on getting back to me with questions.

My mistake in missing that no air conditioning was offered. There were 5 fans though.
