Perfect location and wonderful amenities! From the pool access to the beautiful beach out front. Walkable to many restaurants. This condo has great beach chairs, cooler and snorkel gear. The bed was very comfortable- something we look for in a stay!

This unit met our expectations across the board. The location was excellent, right by the beach in the middle of Kihei, with lots of restaurants, shops and activities nearby. It is also near the pickleball courts :-)

From the proximity to the beach, sea turtles, and lovely herb garden, we very much enjoyed our stay at Maui Sunset. The amentites were fun for our two active kids and all the property staff that we interacted with were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this Maui location to anyone. Mahalo

Overall, we enjoyed our stay ! Cooked every morning. Have complete kitchen utensils in the unit. Spacious bedroom and we cannot hear noise outside. The bed might need an upgrade, beddings are clean. My daughter like the convertible sofa bed and the jurrasic park pillow. The light at the stove area not working but not a big deal because you can still cook easily. My daughter used the boogie board in the beach and noodles that provided. It also have the beach chairs and umbrella and even snorkel set. Great yard and view of sunset ! Beautiful grass and they have vegetable garden. Very close to restaurants and feel safe around the area. Good price. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay here. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed. Loved being in Kihei which is a short drive to many places we visited. The beach at the complex is rocky but there were sea turtles swimming around and were occasionally on the sand. Great complex for families. Highly recommend!

Everything was great!!! I loved how communicative Susan was, thank you Susan!! You answered all my questions promptly and were very nice. You were so pleasant. The place was perfect for us… we walked to the beach and enjoyed the pool too!! What a huge difference it makes having two bathrooms. The condo was cute and had everything we needed!! Including beach chairs, towels, boogie board, to name a few. Will definitely stay here again. I went with my daughter, mom and sister and NONE of us wanted to leave. The sofa bed was a bit uncomfortable for me, but no biggie… everything else was great!!

Family trip with my wife, son (10), and daughter(7). There is one queen bed and a pull out couch. The pull out couch is so comfortable I slept on it with our son. We loved the mountain and ocean view from the porch. Kitchen decent size for condo. Living in Oahu, the provided beach towels and cooler were awesome.

We had a great time at Maui Sunset! We really enjoyed being able to walk to the park and beach. Groceries and restaurants were just a short drive away too. The apartment had everything we needed. We had our 8 month old with us and really appreciated the pack n play crib in the unit. The host was very responsive and welcoming! Thank you, Susan!

My sister and I spent 10 nights in this unit and enjoyed our stay. We had a couple pre-visit questions and Susan was quick to reply. The unit is as appears on the website. We made full use of the beach towels and beach chairs, visiting different beaches every day. The beach in front of the condos is not the best swimming beach, but great beaches are available 10 minutes away, with ample parking. We love kids and enjoyed watching them play soccer on the beautiful grounds most evenings. The only negative on this unit is it's proximity to the road and so there is noise on the Lanai. All in all a GREAT trip!

This was our first stay in this specific condo but not the first time at this location. Susan was very easy to communicate with, the condo was beautiful, clean, had pretty much everything we could need for the kitchen the beach, and comfort! Maui Sunset is the best! Highly recommend this stay.

Very clean inside, courtyard is great, nicely situated in Kihei but far from the “super nice part” of Maui (or so my dad says). However, close to restaurants, beaches, and the beautiful Maui Brewing location. And the sofa bed was comfortable. Would recommend!

We had a great time. Unit is as pictured. Having beach towels, chairs and cooler was fantastic! Having your own beach was really nice. Some days there was no one on the beach but us! Susan was a dream to deal with. The building and pool/tennis and other amenities are stellar and maintained to high standards. My only criticism would be that the listing says “new”. The unit has been refurbished and has some newer furniture but it is not new. The building is older as is the kitchen and washrooms in our unit. This was a little misleading. But overall I would give it a very high rating.

There is no road between you and the beach. But there are gas grills, a pool, tennis courts and an amazingly expansive and manicured green lawn relaxing for the soul. And a Long Beach!

Susan was an amazing host. Prompt replies with any questions. Condo has had some great upgrades and all the amenities we needed (even coffee bean grinder.. and a tool kit!)
Would definitely stay here again. Complex grounds are immaculate. Not the newest building but kept up very nicely.

This property is gorgeous. The staff was very helpful and the security guard informed us of all the restaurants, shopping centers and stores in the area. This was the first time my family and I were in Maui and this place was absolutely perfect for our 2 10 years old and my partner and I. The area is safe and there are a lot of grocery stores in the area as well as restaurants. Susan the host, was also wonderful and available any time we had questions. There are beach chairs, sand toys, a boogie board, and a cooler. Also everything you need in the kitchen. Mahalo Susan.

The Maui Sunset is a great property; we have stayed at this property before and would stay at it again! This unit is close to the road (you can hear the noise of traffic) but you can see the ocean in the distance. Keyless entry was great! The unit is bright and open and has some good essentials for your stay. It is also equipped with beach chairs and towels!

This place was absolutely amazing. It was right next to the ocean and you can see the ocean from the balcony. You can walk and see the sea turtles come in at sunset. They have bbqs, shuffleboard, hot tub, and a pool!! It is very convenient to shops, restaurants, etc. Easy check in and check out process. I would highly recommend staying here.

We have stayed in this condo complex several times before. This particular condo was, by far, the nicest and best appointed, that we’ve stayed in. We enjoy the ease of finding Maui Sunset from the airport, the more laid back community of Kihei, and the central location of Kihei makes it easy to get to various places of interest around Maui.

This property was so convenient to the Waipuilani pickleball courts. I was able to walk out the door to the courts. The property manager (Susan) was very helpful and answered any questions I had. My only request is that I wish they provided shampoo and detergent for the guests. I wasn't able to start the wash (the towels) before I left. I would highly recommend this place if you love playing pickleball!

This condo was perfect for our family of 4. My husband and I loved the bedroom while our 10 and 7 year olds enjoyed the sofa couch. We utilized just about everything in this condo. I had my kids use the hall bathroom for themselves which was a nice bonus to have so they didnt dirty the bedroom bathroom. I used the in unit laundry before leaving which was so nice to go home without dirty clothes. We cooked breakfast in the kitchen every morning and BBQ’d on the gas grills almost every night for dinner. We enjoyed our meals on the lanai or at the indoor table and used the plethora of Tupperware for leftovers. We just loved how much this condo had to offer. The beds, pillows and blankets were so comfy and the fans and AC (both in the living room and bedroom) were so helpful with the heat. When we left the condo to explore the island we used the beach chairs, cooler and boogie board that are in the hall closet. The other hall closet had a vacuum and broom to get up all the sand my kids brought back in. The grounds of this condo are amazing. You have stair access but we never had to use them because the elevator was never that busy. The grass looks fake and beautiful. They are always maintaining it and cleaning up around the elevators and floors which was greatly appreciated. The pool was perfect for my kids. The hot tub was actually hot and the ocean at the condo is to die for with the perfect sunset. The wind does get blustery but it was nice because we were so hot. We didn’t play shuffle board, croquet, tennis or use the putting green, but those are all options to also do there as well. There are restaurants, grocery shopping and retail shopping left or right out of the complex as close as 2 minutes away or up to 20 minutes depending on where you want to go. Susan was so helpful and quick to respond whether through Vrbo or text. My husband and I both agreed we would definitely come back to this location and this condo. Thank you for a wonderful family vacation 2 years in the making.

This is a nice condo with a view of the tall volcano mountain out one way from the balcony and seeing the beach and ocean the other way. Very spacious with 2 bathrooms and a kitchen with appliances for cooking breakfast and lunch. Also the laundry was a big plus as well. Susan was a great host making our Hawaii visit a blast!

My sons 21 and 17 and I enjoyed this property. Steps to the beach which felt like it was our private beach. Great pool, tennis courts, shuffle board, and the putting green is so beautiful that we thought the real grass was fake.

I stayed for 5 nights at this wonderful apartment in the Maui Sunset complex in Kihei. The apartment was very clean and quite. It had everything one might need to feel at home. From the balcony you have a great view over the beautiful inner garden.
The location was great, just 2 min away from the ocean, close to great places to eat and supermarkets.
I would definitely come back!

Clean condo in a great location. Beds were comfy (including the hide a bed) AC cools bedroom quickly. There’s an ocean view from the lanai & the property is kept meticulously tidy. Quiet complex at the best sunset viewing location. Susan is a wonderful host who is very responsive to make your stay just perfect. If you are thinking about booking it, just do it! You won’t be disappointed.
