The condo was the best we’ve had (this was our fifth trip to Hawaii). It was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities (spices, condiments, cooking oil, beach chairs, boards, and beach towels). The grounds are beautiful- we enjoyed the hot tub, pool, shuffleboard, and the grills. The only thing lacking was a large frying pan for cooking breakfast. Communication with the manager was fantastic. Highly recommend!

We have stayed at four different condos at the Maui Sunset and Suzanns unit was nothing short of we have experienced in other units. We had everything we needed for the perfect get away. View is beautiful, condo was very clean, and well stocked. We will be back!

We spent 6 nights in the apartment and had a great time. The apartment was super-clean and stacked with amenities, utensils and useful equipment to make the most of your time on Maui.
The complex has a friendly, family vibe with great garden, pool and hot-tub. There are also tennis courts, shuffleboard and other games we didn't have time to fit in.
Being on the beach towards the northern end of Kihei is a great, central location, with shops, restaurants and food trucks nearby.
Communication from Suzanne was perfect, with very easy-to-follow instructions and timely reach-outs.

My husband and I stayed at the Maui Sunset for 9 nights at the end of April 2023. We had an amazing time and highly recommend Suzanne’s condo. Maui Sunset is situated in a perfect location and is close to EVERYTHING. The property was spotless and well-maintained. The condo was clean and well stocked. Our Host, Suzanne, was very responsive and accommodating. We had everything we needed during our stay, Suzanne thought of it all! The condo listing is 100% accurate. We loved having use of 2 bathrooms and the in-suite laundry was a lifesaver. The bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning and dishwasher were a total bonus. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals, if we didn't feel like dining out. We were so surprised to see 6 meticulously maintained barbecues on the property for us to use at any time. When I say meticulous, I mean meticulous! Deep-cleaned daily (for hours!) and covered every night. We enjoyed getting up very early in the morning, having a coffee on the balcony, watching the sunrise and the palm trees gently sway. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. We felt very safe staying at this property. Checking in and out was very simple. Without a doubt, we give our experience FIVE STARS. When we return to Maui, we will be staying at the Maui Sunset in Suzanne's condo. Already checking flights and cannot wait to return!

I could go on and on about Suzanne's condo. Just look at the pictures and believe what you see! The apartment perfectly met our needs and wants.
1. A host who is attentive, responsive and honest!
2. Super comfy beds for people with backs that prefer gentle firm support.
3. Gorgeous view of immaculately maintained grounds.
4. Four minute walk from apartment to beach, walking on the beautiful grounds amongst the trees and gardens, past the grills, pool, tennis courts and shuffleboard courts to watch amazing sunsets.
5. Shopping within minutes.
6. Restaurants within minutes.
7. Enjoy this Maui location....it is a synonym for PARADISE!

We had a great time in Maui!! This property was at a great location, very clean, listing very accurate. Even had supplies we weren’t expecting!! The bedroom gets nice and cool- but the great room a little stuffy at times. Would rent again if/ when we come back to Maui!! Thanks for a wonderful time!

I was pleasantly surprised with the location and amenities of this property. While it's a bit rockier beach it is still beachfront and the option to walk to many stores and restaurants was great if we didn't want to drive. Kihei in general is a strip of day and night life, some really cute shopping and eats a short drive towards Wailea which was also super close. The balcony was great and didn't need the AC with all the fans in the condo. Loved having my own washer dryer too! BBQs were a fun way to meet other guests! My son loved the pool, and I always like having two bathrooms.

We chose this spot for our honeymoon and loved the location! Lots of privacy and then great amenities available like the grills, pool and hot tub. It is also conveniently located about 20 mins from the airport and 10 mins from Wailea where we enjoyed great restaurants.
One issue we ran into unfortunately was that the access code was not timely provided, which led us to not be able to access the unit for a few hours on the first day of the stay. The staff was helpful with having us try to access the unit and Suzanne did reply to us a few hours later with the code, we had no communication problems other than that.
The listing is very spacious and has two bathrooms and an AC. We found plenty of clean utensils and cookware for nights where we stayed in, thankfully. The listing is accurate, but one complaint is that if you are planning an extended stay - the bed and sofa are not very firm and a bit harsh on the back. I have never had a stay in which I felt the furniture was not comfortable, but I was surprised with the bed and sofa in this place. That being said, it did not have a large impact on our stay. Suzanne also was very accommodating and let us check out at our convenience on our last day since our flight was late at night and check out was originally at 10AM.
We very much enjoyed Kihei and all that Maui Sunset had to offer, and we would love to come back again.

We were out of the condo 99% of the time exploring the beaches and adventures on Maui , but when we were home in the evening it was cozy. Air conditioning if you needed it but not necessary with the trade winds!

Very modern condo, super clean with all the amenities. We cooked most of our meals in an ate outside on patio or courtyard. The view was breathtaking with unbelievable sunsets. The grounds were immaculate with a beautiful swimming pool, very nice exercise room and outdoor putting. The pool was huge great for lap swimming in mornings and never crowded. There were like 10 fancy gas bbq's in the courtyard I enjoyed using to cook dinner. The property has a super nice private beach with no shore break. It was great for stand-up paddle boarding in the morning and windsurfing in afternoon. We saw many turtles and fish while paddle boarding. This was a great spot. Hope to be back!

The beautiful sunsets were a great bonus to this clean and well-maintained apartment. We took advantage of the putting green and tennis courts - all while enjoying the waterfront views! Easy check in and great communication from Suzanne. Would recommend for a relaxing Maui getaway!

The space was perfect for the two of us. We mostly just slept in the room. We took advantage of the patio in the morning for coffee and reading while enjoying the sounds of the ocean. The views from the courtyard and beach front were amazing. Watching the sunsets each night was priceless. The pool was our favorite spot during the day, quiet and hot with sun all day. Cooling off in the pool and watching the sunset from the hot tub was also a favorite activity of ours. We also enjoyed that we could grill in the courtyard for the evenings we didn't want to go out and try local favorites.

This was the perfect spot for a girl's getaway! The place was clean and as advertised. We had a view of the ocean and used our lanai often in the mornings for breakfast. There isn't any central AC (two window units) but we left the lanai door open and the breeze that came in was cool enough. At night, the window unit in the room kept the room very cool. We had a party of three and there was plenty of space. Would stay here again!

The owner was so kind, thoughtful and helpful. We reached out to her a couple of times for questions and she picked up right away. The unit itself was on the older side but cozy. There were trade winds during our entire stay which are absolutely necessary for the living room/Kitchen area as the a/c wasn't strong enough. The a/c in the bedroom was needed and worked just fine. It was just two of us and out most days so the unit was sufficient for our needs. Owner responsiveness is important to us, so we would most likely stay with her again.

Suzanne was a great host for our stay in family friendly Kihea! We feel this area is best location-wise if you plan on traveling around the island. Its pretty much the center of Maui. She was great with promptly checking us in upon arrival (based on availability) and was open to any questions we had. The first thing she asked when she called was, "Do you like it?"
Yes, we did! The listing is as described and pictured. Its great for a small family of up to 4. The sofa bed can easily accommodate a couple people. The extra full bath was great for getting ready to go out. Kitchen was fully equipped. The lanai has a great view of the yard where kids can play, there's a putting green and multiple gas grills (cleaned daily) if you would like to grill some food. There is also an amazing view of the Ocean, maybe a 5-7 minute was from the Unit.
We were there for 7 days and nights and loved every minute of making this our home for the week. The property is overall extremely well maintained daily. She knows we would stay again!

This complex is beautiful and well maintained. It is in a very central location on the island and close to all areas. Shopping and restaurants are close by. Having beach towels, chairs and a cooler was very helpful.

Suzanne has a great location and is very accommodating to requests while making herself available as well. The check in procedure isn’t clear until you arrive which made us nervous with a 1yr old but she even went to the hassle to meet us to make sure it went smoothly. She has much of what is needed for simple beach use and everything went great with the property. After walking around the other resort options we were very happy with our decision to stay here.
