Can’t beat the location right on the beach. Close to restaurants and shopping. Lots within walking distance.This is the 3rd time staying at Waikiki Shores, always great room and property manager service. Although this visit, with renovations happening... we had 2 power outages for several hours. We had to get ice to keep food in refrigerator cold thru the night and then again several hours the next day. There was no compensation for the inconvenience. Building kept switching back and forth between elevators that were working, (had to wait several minutes to get up or down or take the stairs). The condo itself was excellent, fully stocked, clean and ready for our stay. We will stay again after renovations are done!

Thanks so much for a wonderful stay ! We had to leave Maui due to fires and found this Condo last minute- so grateful for the hospitality and quick turnaround for booking -Lovely place - perfect for two people - awesome view :) One note : a little slow with the elevator situation only having one working - but not a huge deal -Would recommend a lock box for dropping off keys at the end of your stay ! Thanks again ! We would absolutely BOOK HERE again!

Our only frustration was the parking we paid for. 3 different occasions (on different days) for many hours our spot was occupied at the most inconvenient times.

This was one of the best rentals ever! Great communication from start to finish! We were met at the condo by the property manager when we arrived. The unit itself was clean and well well appointed with everything we needed during our stay. The location could not be beat! Steps away from the beach, shopping and restaurants. The view was absolutely amazing! Morning sunsets over Diamond Head in the morning and gorgeous sunsets over the ocean in the evening from the lanai. Who could ask for more? We will definitely seek out this property if our travels bring us back to Oahu.

Love the proximity to the beach. Love the clean and open format of the room. Lots of people cramming into 1 elevator was annoying. There were no instructions provided about where the parking garage was, how to access or how to get out of the garage at the end of our stay.

Our stay here was very relaxing and everything you would hope for in a central location and proximity to the beach. Waking up to the sunrise was a true dream and the place was very spacious for our family of four. We were able to go shopping and sightseeing with ease and there were stores not too far from our place. We did not rent a car and that was never an issue with us as we were able to use public transportation with ease. The only thing which was my own fault was realizing there was no pool for our children to swim in. Mind you we did have the beach within steps of our stay but for our youngest child, she prefers the pool. We would love to come back and stay here again one day. Mahalo.

The location was great and the unit had one full wall of glass doors that provided an amazing view of the ocean! The unit was clean and updated. The unit also had beach chairs and plenty of storage. The building is on the beach and a great location to shops and places to eat. Highly recommend

A very positive experience with a professional company. The apartment was very well presented...clean and very comfortable. Amazing views over the water and towards the sun set.Would definitely utilise Captain Cook again for future trips to Waikiki.

Our property manager met us at the property to ensure we got in and went over the key points. He didn't stay very long so it allowed us to get unpacked and start enjoying our vacation. Bed was very comfortable and the AC units kept the unit comfortable when we didn't have the doors open. The best part is the easy walk to the main area of Waikiki. We would stay here again on our next trip to Waikiki

We loved staying here. The condo was just as described - very clean, bed was comfortable, views were amazing over the city, beach, and park, especially at sunset. It is right on the beach and we easily walked to many nearby restaurants and shopping areas. We set out and explored a different part of Oahu each day and were able to drive to most any place within an hour or so depending on the traffic (which can be heavy at times on the highways especially if it's rush hour). I'd highly recommend #1408 and Captain Cook for your Hawaii vacation!

The location was great, on the beach and next to a park, close to shops and restaurants. Great ocean sunsets from the balcony.
The unit was VERY minimally stocked .
The only complaint is that the rooster in the park kept us awake all night long every night. Of course the property manager would have no control over this.
Overall, it was great.
