Stunning location, right on the beach. Perfect for a laid-back, working vacation. Reliable wifi! On the third floor, this one-bedroom was suitable for three. View from west-facing lanai were the tops of palm trees, the ocean, and Derussy Park - looks better than on website. We realized only the day before arriving that we needed to check in early - Cheri of Captain Cook Resorts and property manager Paul Tucker were great and our last moment's notice was accommodated. Easy check-in with Paul and he was responsive when we needed him for something else during our stay. Nice kitchen, refrigerator and freezer, microwave. Nice bathroom - good sized shower. Clean. Comfortable bed. Beach chairs, beach umbrella, and beach tent, included. The lobby is being renovated and there's noise from the construction but that never bothered us. Each morning people congregate in front of Waikiki Shore to watch the sunrise - from there you have a panoramic view of Waikiki beach and Diamond Head. Steak Shack and Banan (banana ice cream) are on ground floor. Monkey Pod restaurant is a ten second stroll on the beach, next door. There many restaurants and bars minutes away. We've previously stayed at five different hotels in Honolulu and this was our first Vrbo stay. What a spectacular find! Hope to return soon!

This room was beautiful, had everything we could possibly need for an enjoyable trip. The location is amazing, the restaurant and store downstairs are extremely convenient. Being able to cook and do our laundry was an added benefit. They even found parking for our rented Jeep. I highly recommend and will stay again!

This rental unit was perfect for our family of 4. Everything was clean in the unit and the washer/dryer were a plus! Check in was smooth, and our property manager, Paul, was easy to get in touch with. I messaged him about the tub draining slow and he handled it promptly.
Great location--easy to walk to shopping, food, etc. The kids loved having the beach right at the doorstep! I wouldn't hesitate to book again for future visits:)

Ladies week (5 nights) at Waikiki Shore and we had a fabulous stay. Unit 308 was clean, quiet, nicely decorated, and conveniently located. We were able to walk right out onto the beach. The lanai was a great size and it was perfect for people watching. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything you need in the condo and right on the beach! What more could you ask for? Did have a problem the first night with the dryer...Paul the property manager was right on it. This is our second stay with Captain Cooks, and we will definitely be back next year!

The place was great for shopping and going to the strip for the commercial restaurant places. The home was clean and the property manager was great. Parking is not included. Plan to buy a parking pass or have them try to charge you extra after the fact if they give you the parking passIf I was to come back, I would choose to stay somewhere not on the strip, I would find somewhere closer to North shore, as soon as you leave, if you’re planning to bring your kids and just go shopping, this place is awesome but if you want an actual Hawaiian feel and tropical island experience I’d go outside Waikiki,

It was far enough away from the crowds but within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, and several attractions. Convenient to buses, trolleys and tours. Overall a wonderful stay. We loved the view and the location. I do wish there were more supplies for 6 days. With 4 of us staying for 6 nights, we used everything in one day. We had to wash towels everyday and they didn't supply us with many. I wish they supplied us with just a little more than what was given. And there were a few things already broken in the property.

This place was amazing! It is just steps to the beach. Has a washer and a dryer which is a must. Beautiful views. I let the property manager know that it needs a little more cooking utensils like a pizza sheet and a rubber spatula for eggs and she said she would get what it needs!!!

I have no complaints. The only complaint is I wish I could stay longer. Everything was clean and breathtaking. The location is very good. You’re close to a shopping mall that’s walking distance and lots of restaurants. The beach is a few steps away. I’ll definitely be booking again.
