Our family of 9 had a great time. The check-in process was very easy as well as the communication.
We were impressed with
kitchen utensils and suppplies, bath items, beach towels, beach chairs and accessories including a cooler that was very useful. The property was gorgeous and well maintained as well as the condo. The pool, hot tub and ocean front area swell as the other amenities were excellent. The negative was we had 9 people, and it was a little bit small, but very manageable and the drive to most activities we're about 45 minutes away. Pickup groceries at Walmart before going to condo or you will be shocked at the price of a loaf of bread. Great property.

We were so glad to have booked this particular condo for our yearly holiday family vacation at Papakea! Our family ended up staying with us for an extra few days due to weather related airport cancelations on the mainland, so the extra space and amenities were greatly appreciated! We've been coming to Papakea for the holidays for over 30 years now, and have rented many units over the years. We've always been very happy with this particular unit, but often miss out on booking it because it's a popular unit to rent! This is a beatiful and comfortable unit with plenty of space, well-laid out and thoughtfully appointed with amenities for guests. Thank you once again for a great stay!

1st time to Hawaii and picked Maui. Booked this room 10 months out. Liked that it had 3 rooms. 4 baths. Fit a family of 5 quite nicely. View semi decent from balcony to the ocean. Seen mostly from the one side. Balcony gets afternoon sun. So little steamy if viewing ocean in the afternoon.
Property was on the west side of Maui where most of the attractions are. Convenient to great abc/grocery store and local restaurants
Great snorkeling near by and access to beaches.
Don’t count on having chairs/snorkels/umbrellas/boogie boards/towels
Better to plan to bring or rent while there
Had a few issues arise when we checked in.
The accommodations could of been cleaned little better prior to checkin. Contacted Carl and he was very responsive.
Property grounds very well maintained. Pool and outdoor grills very nice. Definitely take advantage of.
Stayed 9 days and definitely would recommend.

We had an amazing time. We love Pappaquia resort. This is our second time here but not in the same unit. This is great. Love the layout as a 3 Bed 3 Bath. The AC power for all three rooms were set on a timer for up to 6 hours till the middle of the night and air conditioning would shut off . The air conditioning compressor is on the balcony, and it makes it really hot out there and loud. Other than that the unit was great it was nicely stock.

Our family loved the location and easy accessibility to everything we wanted to do. The condo was perfect for my parents, grandfather and my brother and I who are both in our 30’s. It provided us all with a decent amount of privacy and space. Great for families!

This place is perfect for family stay, lots of space and location and accommodations of the property was exceptional.
We didn’t check in on time because the condo was being cleaned, it happens but, we expected more cleanliness from this place since it took a while for us to get in. Secondly l, the dryer in the building wasn’t working so it may need to be fixed. Otherwise good stay. I would recommend.

There were 7 adults. Accommodations were great. Clean,well stocked with supplies. Close to grocery store,food trucks and beaches. We loved it.

Overall our experience was great, location and condo were exactly what we expected. Had a small unexpected issue with the air conditioning but Carl was able to compensate us. Would recommend to friends or family

We couldn't have been happier with our stay here. The property was even better than what the pictures showed. The condominium had everything we needed and more. It had games, books, boogie boards, washer, dryer, spices for cooking, etc. It was decorated so nicely and we loved having three huge, beautiful bathrooms. It was spacious for our family and so comfortable. We also appreciated the the AC that kept us nice and cool. The view from the balcony was incredible; we enjoyed eating breakfast and lunch on the balcony as much as we could. The grounds of Papakea were incredible! Everything was so well taken care of and beautiful. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were heavenly and we were just steps from the ocean and walk way. The location couldn't have been better, it was close to a variety of restaurants and a bunch of food trucks and Lahaina. We highly recommend staying here, it made our family vacation so enjoyable! Beautiful, roomy, centrally located and fully equipped condo with great views of the pool and ocean. The AC took a while to kick in, so we just opened up the windows and it felt pretty nice in there thanks to the winds, although it was much warmer on the third floor. The fans did help though.
