Spent an amazing month in this lovely condo directly across from Kamaole Beach 3. Communication with host/management team was great with questions responded to quickly. Condo was very clean & spacious with a large lanai. Although it faces the road we ate dinner out there most nights & had views of the ocean. No boogie boards but beach chairs, umbrella & coolers were provided. You cannot beat the location as it’s right across from Kam 3. We like Kam 2 which took less than 5 more minutes to walk to. Many people gather at Kam 3 for the gorgeous sunsets. Easy walking distance to restaurants & shops. Short drive to Wailea for the mall or some beautiful quieter beaches. Only negative would be the roofing construction going on the whole time we were there but fortunately our building had already been completed. Kihei is our favourite place to stay and we would definitely stay at this condo again.

We had a great stay. All was good. Except there was a very bad smell especially in the bedroom. We had to open the windows several hours every day. The smell was urine like and we don’t know where it was coming from. We thoughts is probably the Aircondition filters but it could also be the two large bags that were in the master BR cabinet. Suppose it belongs to the owner. These should be stores somewhere else. Management checked on the smell but they came at the time when we just finished airing the place and b my wife put on lotion, so all smelled good. We asked management to check after our checkout and surely the smell will be there again. Other than that we had a beautiful stay.

The property was for the most part as described. The problem was that the master bedroom and hallway had a horrible stench of what I suspect is urine.
The bedroom also was very crowded and it was difficult to get to the far side of the bed due to the proximity of the dresser.
I don’t like to leave negative reviews but I figure somebody needs to tell the owner and try to get these problems rectified.
The property itself was under a great deal of construction, which limited some of the parking. I understand that this has to be done. It was just poor timing on our part.

I recently stayed in this unit for 6 nights for a friend’s wedding in Maui. It was a wonderful experience! The unit was exactly as described and the host was very communicative. I felt that I had everything I needed! I loved the large deck and we even used my unit to get ready for the wedding! I would highly recommend this unit to anyone taking a trip to Maui, the location was perfect!

Condo was clean and what I expected. I liked that there were beach chairs and umbrella available for us to use. Something I've always enjoyed about the Kamaole Sands condos is that you can leave the front and back doors open to create a strong breeze though the length of the condo.

Stayed here for about a week with my family. The suite had everything we needed to call it home for the week. We just grabbed some groceries and made a lot of our meals with the fully stocked kitchen. Laundry in the suite was good to have as well, especially travelling with a toddler. They even provided beach gear such as coolers (which we used), chairs, umbrellas, etc.
It was a good home base to explore the island. Close to several beaches. Check-in instructions was detailed especially for a late arrival. Communication with host was excellent too. Even recommended a place to rent a playpen from, which was delivered straight to the unit!

My husband and I stayed here for 11 days during our honeymoon and loved it. It was only a short walk down the street to get to shopping, restaurants and the beach. Great place to stay if you don’t want to eat out for every meal. Large kitchen and family room. Bed very comfy. Just right for a short or long stay. Unit was very clean and tidy and the communication from the renter was phenomenal. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay, loved the area. Place was great for our family and def enjoyed having the flexibility vs a hotel. The dishes weren't super clean, but nothing that a quick scrub didn't fix before we used them. Checkout was easy, no issues throughout the stay!

Updated interior in the unit was great.
I like to cook and one of the reasons we choose a condo rather than hotel is for the cooking aspect. Unfortunately, most condos are equipped with the basement level devices and equipment. This is the standard and the norm. I wish it was different. At what price point per night does a blender, toaster, chef knives, coffee maker get some sort of an upgrade in quality? Is it a theft issue or...?

Everything was great, bed was very comfy. Super comfortable large place with all cooking needs. Only negative was we had a couple issues with cleanliness when we arrived. Owner did offer to send cleaners back in but at that point we already cleaned it ourselves.

I had a great feeling about this location as shortly after I received the confirmation, I had a few questions and I received a reply a few minutes later. A few weeks passed and I had a more questions and a special request and it was taken care of.
We arrived at the condo and it had a great view, it was clean and with a family of 4, the 2 full bathrooms were needed. We found amazing restaurants close by and a beach across the street.
The beach chairs, umbrella & ice chests that were there for us to use, came in very handy.
I would definitely stay here again the next time we come to Maui.

The condo was spotless when we arrived and very nice. The king bed was super comfortable. Although the sofa bed didn’t look like it would be comfortable when we pulled it out, our two teenage daughters slept well and had no complaints. The condo was equipped with all the necessities and the beach equipment was a great bonus. We really appreciated the chairs, coolers, umbrella and boogie boards. Communication with the owner was easy and they replied quickly when we had questions. Would definitely stay there again.

For the price, I think you will have a hard time finding a place to stay that offers the same amenities, beach access, and proximity to shops and restaurants. Everything you would need for the beach was provided. Having in-unit laundry was a lifesaver, but plan accordingly. There are quiet hours for dryer usage and it isn't the worlds most efficient dryer. So start laundry in the morning to give clothes enough time to dry. For our 2 year old, the sleeper sofa was fine. It would not be comfortable for adults. Overall a great stay for a nice quiet and relaxing vacation.

We loved our vacation rental! Home away from home! It was perfect for our family of four. The location was perfect- near everything! The beach chairs and boogie board on the lanai was so helpful and made our beach days more fun. I really appreciated the olive oil and salt in the cupboard since we only needed a little bit to make eggs for breakfast. There was even a rice cooker! We didn’t use it this time, but would definitely use it next time! Will definitely stay here again! Thank you so much!!!
