Hi all,First of all thanks for giving us 035 instead of the one we had originally booked (033). Though you hadn't asked our permission for that, I was glad because 035 was very fine and we loved being right on the grass. All went well except that we could not lock either the big sliding glass or big screen doors. In fact, I couldn't even close the glass door -- it was too heavy and somehow not properly in its grooves. My husband closed it but we could never lock it. I'd have let you know, but we got so busy I never had time. Thank you, though, for a wonderful vacation.Elizabeth Farnsworth

We have rented many times with this rental company and have stayed in this unit before. It was nice. I do wish there was a king size bed instead of a queen, but it was a comfortable bed. The sofa is also more comfy than some of the other units’. It’s clean, which is imperative for me. I was surprised there wasn’t any salt and pepper, but I appreciate the soap for the bathrooms, kitchen, washing machine, and dishwasher. I’d stay here again (my husband works in Lai’e often and when I accompany him, we choose these rentals over the hotel whenever possible.

The location was very comfortable and a pretty view of the golf course. The design of the unit was comfortable also and the kitchen was very pretty and well equipped. The bathrooms were out dated and not very clean. Ants were on the floor of the bathroom, bedroom floor, climbing up the wall of the bedroom right over the bed and also in the kitchen. Ant traps were in the kitchen but looked old. No other ant traps were in the unit. Several ants were found in the bed linens and that was gross. A used water bottle was left under the table where the books and magazines were laid out. Apparently the cleaning crew missed that when cleaning the floor. The smell of the unit or horrible when we first opened it up. It smelled like mildew and mold and old wet clothes. We opened the windows and aired it out and that helped. The bed was very UNCOMFORTABLE. Lumpy and hard and the headboard was old,peeling,and flopped against the wall if you sat on the bed. THE BED NEEDS TO BE REPLACED BUT A KING SIZE WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED. It was way too small and we are not big people. The couch and chair in the living room were comfortable and having a table and bar stools was appreciated. The TV worked well, although we didn't use it that much. The added touch of the owner's welcoming book and sign in book and picture book was a nice touch. Overall, the cleaning crew needs to step it up a couple of notches and the exterminator needs to make a visit and the bed really needs to be replaced.

We stay in this unit as well as others at least annually, and have never had any problems up until this stay. Less than 24 hours into a 5 day stay, we received an email accusing us of damaging something. We damaged nothing, and no "inspector" other than ourselves was in the unit for that 18 hours in question, so this is clearly an error. We have tried for a week now to get this corrected, but they won't even respond to our emails or our phone calls.

35 West is very tastefully decorated and well kept. It is in a quiet location with an upfront view of a golf course. Darker sliding glass door shades in the bedroom would be nice since the outside walkway lights shine through the pleated blinds.

Everything perfect, very clean, quiet, beautiful decoration with all you need with quality 10. Top, I will be back for sure! The only negative point is that the administration is not inside the condo, you have to drive some miles away - and it closes early!!!

3rd time staying at Hale Mokulani. It was spacious, bright, clean and had a well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the nearby hotel amenities, poolside entertainment nightly, surf lessons and Kuilima Cove beach (great for kids) as well as Kawela Bay. This condo shows pride of ownership and we will be staying here again.

This condo was great! We will stay here again in the future. All of the floors are tile so you don't have to worry about nasty carpet. The kitchen is fully stocked. The entire place was perfectly clean. When we were going to book this place I was a little nervous because some reviews complained about the owners parking in the space for the condo. They were in the parking space when we got there but it is not a big deal at all. There were a bunch of parking spaces a few feet away that we could use. We did see a few very very small black ants that people were complaining about but they are not a big deal. I thought the black ants in Utah were small until I saw these ants. Again, no big deal. The place was perfectly clean when we got there and the ants didn't show up for a few days. Don't let that deter you from the other reviews.

Great condo and great location. We were able to unwind after each days activities and the staff at the resort were very friendly. The only note would be that the AC unit in one of the bedrooms didn't blow cool air, and there was no AC available in the main room.

Great unit. It would have been nice to have a bigger TV and a small one for the bedroom. The unit itself is great. Lovved the kitchen. The master shower does need an upgrade and is a bit small. The shower head is bad.

It was just as I remembered it from over a decade or 2 ago, so peaceful it was perfect! We experienced the worst weather I have ever had while in Hawai'i but it was still perfect! If you want to get away from the busy of life and just unplug this is the best place to do it. It was my husband's first time and he is already planning our next trip!! We will be coming back soon!!! I do wish there was a way to have a boogie board or 2 there for use but I understand cost.

The stay was great! My only complaint/s was that we arrived very late in the evening and drove right passed the resort, because of no/poor signage/lighting. And then once in we could not find our condo, because there is NO lighting on the building/condo #s for you to know what unit is where.And the stair/door auto lights come on after you're at/passed the light and turn if quickly. Better lighting is a MUST!!

After unpacking bag, we noticed Air conditioner was not working. Switch to turn on porch light stopped working. (Switch inside condo). Paper blinds were shredded. (we had no privacy,). Dirty dishes were put away prior to arrival. Front porch faucet does not have a valve. (Would have been handy to wash feet ). Solar light on stairs does not work. (safety issue! Very dark when walking up or down stairs at night. Very dark porch area. I notified “the estates but nothing was done regarding this important issue.. sensor light did work, but useless if walking towards condo). Would have preferred thicker curtains in bedroom. Sun woke us up ever morning. Condo bedroom faces the East.

This condo was the best yet. We have stayed in 8 different condos in the Kuilima Estates and this one was the best. Location was perfect and the unit is updated very nicely. The nearby beach at Kuilma cove is great for swimming and snorkeling. Dinning in at Lei Lei's was not an option because of covid protocol but taking food back to the condo was fun. Great food from Ted's bakery, Giovanni's shrimp truck and the deli at Foodland. It would be nice if some cleaning supplies were provided such as Windex, Comet cleanser and disinfectant. Also, anything that could be done to increase the light in the kitchen area would be a plus. The toilet in the bathroom off the hall flushes but takes a long time to refill. Over all, we would definitely stay here again.

Everything was great except for the ants that came after we got there. There was nothing wrong with the property, just really aggressive ants that wanted any crumb that we missed. If we cleaned up fast and put things in the fridge than it was ok.

one downfall of the single bedroom condo is that the bedroom faces the parking lot which is very well lit at night. since the shades don't block the light, it's very bright in the room at night. the A/C was broken and there's no way to let air in other than to have a door open on that side (no windows), so that was a little inconvienient. other than that, it was all good!

Place was nice, but the wood furniture had tiny brown bugs... 100's of them. I think they live in the wood furniture and come out when food is around which is a problem because when you take a plate of food to the coffee table to eat and watch tv.. the bugs tend to come out. They were also on the dresser in the bedroom. It made me feel like they were crawling on me. Because the place was nice and clean outside of this bug situation... I would say, "I'd consider maybe coming back again, would recommend it to friends who don't mind the bugs, but would probably seek another location first and used this as a second or third option.

Just FYI there is a leak at the bottom right corner of the refridgerator that puddled on the floor. To avoid anyone slipping I placed a bowl to catch the water. Other than that it was a beautiful condo everything worked. Usually at other condos something didn't work. We would recommend this unit to others. Thank You
