We had an amazing stay! Everything you could possibly want and so much more. The condo is fully equipped with all amenities you need. Very comfortable bed too! Breakfast on the patio, watching the waves hit the shore just a few steps away from you. We swam with turtles everyday and watch the whales pass all day long. Beautiful, well kept grounds as well. Amazing sunsets. Our stay was just so enjoyable and peaceful! A ton of great places to eat and shop all within walking distance. We will most definitely be back!

The unit is clean, comfortable, and stocked with almost anything you could want for laid-back island living. Appreciated and made use of the cooler, beach chairs, communal bodyboards(!), and copious cooking gear. Host Bianca was responsive and helpful.
Condo is a little older, but meticulously maintained. It's quiet and serene. The view from the back will melt your face. Walk down the steps though the seawall into the ocean where a shallow reef extends out about 100 yards. The waves will break here providing for decent surfing and bodyboarding right from the condo!
As of Oct 2023, glad to say the vibe in W. Maui is getting back to normal.

This little condo was perfect for my girlfriend and I to stay at for a week. Was a little disappointed that that sandy beach had been eroded away and was left with a lot of large rocks. Was still able to swim out into the ocean from the beach but was just a little difficult. Overall it was a fantastic place to stay and I highly recommend staying here!

The condo unit was great and the views spectacular.
Loved the location as it was a bit quieter and less traveled than the other resorts. Not to mention it was on a turtle sanctuary and we had the pleasure of seeing them daily.

anything better than watching and listening to the ocean 24/7 :).
The grounds are beautiful and well kept and the pool is clear and
just the right temp. BBqs near the units . Our unit this year was very clean and the matress was comfortable. Hope to come again next year!!!

We enjoyed our stay Honokowai very much and would consider this rental again for future visits to the Lahaina/Kaanapali area. The property had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The property even has a storage box in the parking area, with beach equipment left behind by former guests- we borrowed a boogie board a couple times. The only issue I had with our visit was that someone was in our parking spot when we arrived. We were able to get in touch with the property manager, and the issue was fixed within 10 minutes.

My husband and I stayed at Hoyochi Nikko for 6 days in celebration of our babymoon. I was a little nervous that I wouldn’t be able to fully enjoy myself at almost seven months pregnant, but this VRBO was the slice of heaven we needed before growing our family. I cannot say enough good things about our time there.
Condo: The condo itself is everything we could need for a vacation. It is obvious that it has been recently upgraded and was intentional to make guests feel as comfortable as possible. The bedroom has AC so sleeping was extra comfortable. The kitchen is a game changer. I highly recommend stopping at a market before heading to the condo to stock up on some essentials. The full kitchen allowed us to keep leftovers and have cold drinks ready for the beach. The condo also included a cooler, a beach chair, and an umbrella for the beach. We used these every day! The condo looks out to what feels like your private beach. The first day we woke up we made some iced coffee, sat on the porch, and were gifted a giant beautiful rainbow as we looked at the ocean. It felt like a dream.
Property: The property is extremely well maintained. The pool was always clean and refreshing. There is also a communal BBQ and post-ocean-swim shower to rinse the sand off before coming inside. The condo itself had a great balance of feeling very private but also having the option to make friends with the neighbors. While we were there, other guests staying on the property were extremely respectful and quiet. The parking was also very accessible with assigned parking.
Location: The location is about 15 minutes north of Lahaina. It’s an ideal spot that isn’t as touristy (preferred) but accessible to anywhere you’d like to visit. Each morning we got coffee at Bad Ass Coffee (2 min drive), frequented the farmers market grocer (they have amazing acai bowls) and rented snorkel gear from Boss Frogs (all in the same parking lot). If you enjoy baked goods, visit Papi Ohana’s for scones, cinnamon rolls, and croissants. An ABC store is right down the street. The condo is a perfect location to access some great spots around Maui without feeling like you are in a tourist trap.
Overall 10/10 vacation.The condo is what made it extra special. Every time we came back to the condo, it felt like home. So comfortable and we could not get enough of that view. We honestly cannot wait to come back.
