Living space & layout

Set on the 28th floor of Waikiki Banyan, this entire condo is arranged for both relaxation and convenience. The one-bedroom layout comfortably accommodates up to four guests, with a king bed in the bedroom and a pull-out sleeper sofa in the living area. The living room offers a place to unwind with a TV and sound system, while a dining table for four and a lift-top coffee table create flexible space for meals or work. A window AC unit in the living room helps keep the space comfortable, and room-darkening shades support restful evenings.



Kitchen & dining

The kitchen is designed for everyday ease, giving you a functional space to prepare meals during your stay. Whether you’re starting your morning with coffee or enjoying a quiet dinner in, the setup supports both quick bites and longer, relaxed meals.



Bedroom & bathroom

Behind a separate door, the bedroom offers a calm, private setting with a king-size bed, TV, and a dedicated workspace in a room with a door. The bathroom includes bathroom essentials, creating a simple and comfortable space to refresh after a day out.

The recreation deck at Waikiki Banyan is currently undergoing a complete transformation and is scheduled to officially reopen on May 18, 2026.



Once completed, this will be the largest recreation deck in Waikiki, entirely rebuilt with all-new amenities, landscaping, and furniture. The redesigned space will include:



• A large heated swimming pool

• Three brand-new hot tubs

• A brand-new sauna

• All new loungers and daybeds

• Modern barbecue and grill stations with seating

• A children’s playground

• A full tennis and play court



Everything on the deck will be new, beautifully designed, and ideal for families, couples, and longer stays.

Overall good stay - good location. We were missing a couple items and once requested we received them. The beach cooler took a few days before receiving. Most everything is well appointed. I would suggest they replace the pillows.

Communication with the host was excellent and very expedient. Accessibility for keys and the parking pass was terrific and easy. The room had a beautiful view, and a lanai perfect for relaxing in the evening. A few downsides were that the pool and rest of the recreation deck were closed for repairs, and we were looking forward to relaxing and swimming after a busy day. Another con was the sheets had a brown tinge and the bedding seemed to have not been washed and cleaned.

We've stayed in Waikiki 19 times so far, 10 of them in private accommodations at the Aston at the Waikiki Banyan, but this condo is a gem! Not only it was very clean, it had more than we could possibly need.From the beginning we felt very welcome and very comfortable.We discovered many things in the condo with great attention to detail.What we especially liked were the two night lights in the bathroom and kitchen. We were able to adjust the color of the one in the bathroom and the one in the kitchen changed colors without us having to do anything.The extractor fan in the bathroom is not a common feature, we used it a lot.The bed was very comfortable, we slept like babies.As I wrote at the beginning, the condo is a gem!We will be back in a few weeks!Mahalo for letting us stay here and for letting us stay here again.

The condo is lovely but like many has a window air conditioner which cools living room and kitchen but not so much bedroom. We managed with ceiling fan, but I’ll look for central air next time. The location is walkable to anywhere on Waikiki. Washer and dryer is close.

The unit was beautiful with a nice view and had everything we needed. We walked everywhere we wanted to go so had no need to rent a car. However, we were disappointed in how well maintained the recreation level was. The play structure had areas that were rusting through and the jets in one of the spas have not been working for years according to other regular guests. Also, one of the elevators was being upgraded and was out of service the whole time which led to major backups and long wait times in both directions. That said, we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying here again.

The building itself needs some TLC (e.g., hallway carpet) but this particular room has been completely renovated and was simply amazing. The views themselves were beautiful to wake up to! Having a full kitchen was super handy for a weeklong stay. The place had everything one would need (minus an in unit washer/dryer but there’s machines in the buildings). We like that this was tucked back a block and a half - quieter than being on the primary street. Lots of coffee places nearby, a beach just a 7 minute walk away, the zoo just two blocks away and even a Nordstrom Rack:) We would definitely book again and recommend this place to others. But beware of the “hosting fees” - they’re high.

We have family in Hawaii but little room to stay at their place. We discovered The Banyan (with free parking!!) and have booked a couple of times. This last time will be the unit we will try to rebook over and over. It was very nicely renovated and very comfortable. Like that there's an external door to the bathroom instead of having to go thru the bedroom. The view is pretty darn nice and the unit very easily became our home-away-from-home. The only detraction is that the curtains are not black-out, so the adjacent building lit up brightly all night made it seem like perpetual day outside. All in all it was a great unit. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable.

Great experience with staff who have excellent communication skills. Property was extremely clean. Amenities and decor was very modern. They welcome constructive criticism to better their company. Parking was challenging with an electric vehicle. Issues with one tenant/ renter of seldomly moving his car from 1 of 2 available spaces. However, that was no fault of Midway. I definitely would recommend them.

Everything about this property is perfect. It’s newly upgraded, has comfortable beds and a great kitchen, complete with all the pots and pans you’d need whilst traveling with kids. The view is superb, and the free parking is a big plus!

This was a amazing property! It was unreal how beautiful it was. Newly renovated and NOT CHEAPLY done. Every accent from flooring to appliances to the bathroom was well done. The location is also amazing two blocks away from the beach but separate from all tourist chaos. The property was extremely clean and and the views are absolutely stunning! It was amazing to be woken by the beautiful sun and the ocean every morning! This is truly a hidden gem!

We enjoyed a week using Waikiki as a base for day trips around Oahu, and we also enjoyed the proximity of the condo to the glories of Waikiki. Walking distance to restaurants and bars, and an easy stroll to the beach. The view from the balcony looks to the Pacific, and we recommend watching the sun set with glasses of wine.
