Went to Maui for sports career reasons and when looking for places to stay the prices and fees across the Island were ridiculously high. Like criminally high.
I am glad i found this property for the location and even though the dollar amount is still high, i would recommend renting this condo.
My only complaint visiting Hawaii is simply the cost of housing or food and it's too bad it has gotten this out of control.
I never had any issues with the condo. The tv cable systen has been an issue with other guests i read but for many like myself im sure its the same setup as home.
A/C is unconventional not central air unit but it worked well.
Kitchen utilities are all there.
Great patio though never had time to use it much.
Maybe only issue off the instruction list is the key. There is no key. So you gotta remember the code which isn't a big deal. But the instructions said there was a key.
The neighborhood is fantastic. Its located in the heart of the community and close to the Shops and a market that was surprisingly affordable for drinks, food, and souvenirs.
Lastly. The pool was great. My complaint is when there were a group of us in the pool we were told pool closes at 10pm.
I understand why but when the frogs make more noise than what we were making, little flexibility should be allowed.
So great condo. Would stay again. But hopefully Hawaii is more affordable one day!

We had a good stay. The unit was conveniently located in the complex, very near the entrance and a short distance to the pool. Our unit was very clean and had enough amenities to fit our needs. We would rent this one again.

The Palms is a beautiful property. Quiet and peaceful stay in paradise and we look forward to another stay in the future. Did not find a property map so was not able to toss trash or recycle before departure. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Such a lovely location- the set up, color schemes & kitchen were all our favorite points of this happy condo. Took us approximately 8 minutes to reach the beach by walking- and a gorgeous walk at that! Thanks so much!

I can’t wait to come back, I will absolutely seek this rental again and again. Everything you could need was available in the kitchen! We had pina colada’s and mai Thai’s thanks to the fully loaded kitchen. I loved how comfortable the bed was and they had PERFECT pillows, I slept so well!
If you come to Maui you Have to check this place out. I am so glad I found it . I will be back for sure!

We like The Palms, usually quiet, grounds are well maintained. Unit 308 has a fully outfitted kitchen, a comfortable bed, good WiFi, and a very quiet AC system. It could use a lounger chair or two on the deck (the deck has two tables and eight chairs) and we could not get the TV/cable to work. Also, there is almost no water view, but that’s probably reflected in the price.

Overall a positive stay but there were some things that fell short of expectations. The property is rated as a 3.5* property. With some updates, I would agree. In its current state it is more of a 3* property. It is in need of a re-fresh. Most wall corners had damage. The stove top and oven were likely 20+ years old. The cleanliness could have been better - about 25% of the dishes and cutlery had food residue on them. But the location is great and the condo is spacious and with a few updates would be great. If there is an updated condo in the same development I would highly recommend it. But I would not return to this condo unless it was updated.
