We enjoyed our stay at the Kamaole Sands Resort. It was a wonderful time. The unit was as described; it was clean and maintained well. It was near to the beach; we enjoyed the sunsets each evening, the pool was cool but enjoyable. Parking was easy. We enjoyed walking through the main street of Kihei and especially enjoyed The Cinnamon Bun place. Thanks for a great stay.

Wonderful vacation stay in an excellent room. Loved everything about the place. The only small issue was in the kitchen. Plenty of utensils but had nothing like sugar, spices, or anything to help with cooking.

Great stay for our family of four. The condo is super close to the pool and an easy walk to a fantastic beach. We appreciated the board games and had some nice family game nights while staying. A beach wagon, chairs and umbrella made planning beach days easy. Beautiful grounds, we love staying in this complex.

Great property with beautiful grounds and a nice pool, right across from Kamaole Beach III! Excellent location, central to everything. You still need a rental car to get around but nothing is very far. The condo is spacious and has a beautiful view from the lanai, great sunsets :)

A great unit in a beautiful complex in a central location! We loved the kitchen, the walkability to the beach, and especially the view from the lanai! We remarked many times throughout the week that we couldn’t have picked a better spot on Maui!

Overall a very good experience. Furniture starting to show its age. Lanai chairs starting to come apart, and bathtub could use some non-slip stickers. But we would definitely rent again if the opportunity arises.

This condo is wonderfully decorated, just needs a few updates. The view is a peakabo view, sitting down on older patio chairs. The kitchen could use a few more items, ie:a mixing bowl & seasonings. But as always the complex is great!

We had a great stay in this condo. The living area is bigger than other condos we’ve stayed at, the view is wonderful, the condo was very clean and totally bug-free, a nice breeze came through the condo all day long, the late afternoon sun was blocked by a column so that was never an issue, the sofa bed was very comfortable both as a couch and as a bed for our 2 grandsons who stayed over for a few nights, the king sized bed is very comfortable (a major consideration for us), and the wooden blinds in the bedroom did a great job of blocking the morning sun. It would be nice if the owners would provide a portable DVD player for use in the condo, however. Our only real complaint was that the condo complex managers did not provide carts to help the residents carry suitcases and groceries to their condos - that is simply unacceptable in our view. That issue notwithstanding, we would strongly recommend this condo; it’s a great condo in a great location.

Our vacation was great. There were a few issues with the condo. The tub in the master bath was not draining and never was the kitchen sink , which was dealt with. The condo was not cleaned well. The fans in the bathrooms were dusty. The floors were dirty. The washer sprung a leak. The owner did order another set but it arrived on December 9. We left on December 10. It was not convenient to have to do laundry at a laundry mat while we were on vacation. A bit of update to the condo would make the stay more enjoyable. Love the location of the condo and Kamaole Sands.

Great location, few minutes walk to beach. Warm apartment, bedroom ac unit keeps things cool and unit in living room keeps the temps tolerable in the PM. Experienced a small amount of ants in the kitchen but was pre warned that this is part of being in a tropical area. Kitchen well equipped, pool area is pleasant. Seems like a family oriented resort with quite a few young families around.

We reserved this unit while in Maui for our daughter's wedding. This unit had a wonderful view of the sunset, a comfy bed and the grounds were beautiful. Within walking distance of a nice beach, several restaurants and small stores. Between our family and friends, we had rented 10 units in Kamaole Sands providing us the opportunity to visit several condos. Almost all of the units were updated, remodeled and had great chairs, snorkel gear, wagons, floaties & beach gear. While the view was amazing the condo itself is in need of updates and overall TLC, to include the beach chairs and other beach items in outdoor closet. We contributed a volleyball! We had the bare essentials to cook a meal however no extra's. Towels were sparce, 2 kitchen towels, 4 bath towels. Had to do laundry a few times. Washer was very loud and most likely disturbed guests below. Unit had 2 brooms, a mop and cleaning products in addition to a broom would have been nice. We would definitely return to this property however will look for a more up to date and well-equipped condo.

We love the location of the Kamaole Sands in Kihei and have stayed there several times. The grounds and pool are are immaculate. The unit is clean, but showing a little wear here and there. The bed is a nice big King size but has a soft foam topper on top which is not comfortable for us, but may work fine for others. Overall it's a nice unit with basic amenities. The A/C in the bedroom is KEY when the trade winds aren't blowing!! The Rentals Maui management company is very easy to work with.

Everything needed and more was there, including beach chairs, umbrella and cooler for the beach, extra washing machine tablets. Could have used some more toilet paper, but found the stash under the bed. AC unit and fans could use a more frequent cleaning.

Nice location but a pretty simple of a place for the price charged. Also selected it for the access to the on site gym, but was not made aware that it was not available until we arrived that the gym was closed for maintenance. And gyms with public access were a drive away with $16 drop in fees.

Overall our stay was decent. I would have been happy to sweep or vacuum any sand we left behind, but couldn’t find a broom or vacuum. Please note: The property really needs a thorough, deep cleaning and desperately needs a paint job.
