Great location close to airport and many local places to eat.
3 flights of stairs clearly in description so not a surprise. Self check in. Parking easy.
AC in bedroom worked great . Windows and patio doors open in living area let in a breeze but it was not cool air. Fans in living room and bathroom a great help. Washer and dryer a bonus. Plenty of supplies to run dishwasher, wash dishes and washing machine a plus . Plenty of beach extras chairs towels came in very handy. A great stay for the 3 of us for 6 days. View was amazing we even saw a sea turtle from the balcony .
Pool was also clean and beautiful landscaping . 100 % recommend

Very good - could use a little minor maintenance on sliding glass door being hard to open and close and vent windows were non operational - but overall a very nice rental with excellent water views and easy access to the beach ....

We had the best time staying at this rental. The location is perfect and not too far to do day drives to the north or south part of the island and is walking distance to a shopping/restaurant area plus the beach! The rental included some beach supplies which were much appreciated! The AC in the bedroom was perfect with the high humidity and heat so we got a comfy nights rest each night. Highly recommend!

The view was beautiful! The apartment has everything you need plus beach gear. However, it is pretty warm in general due to lack of breeze even with patio doors open. There is a nice AC unit in the bedroom that keeps you cool at night. Grills are in pretty rough shape and I only got one of them to turn on. The pool is beautiful but in the back of the building so no ocean views. Beach is also nice but not maintained, lots of driftwood. The old coco palms resort is nearby and very abandoned/run down. Overall happy with our stay but next time will probably spend a little more on something a little further north. Staff was amazing and on the ball.

Condo needs renovation. Minimum dishes & utensils required frequent dish washing.
Bed was very comfortable but bedroom got lots of highway & gas station noise. Best spot to sleep was in the living room listening to the ocean.

We were delighted with our stay at this unit. The lanai overlooked the pounding waves just as we hoped from the photographs. Although there was some ambient road/highway noise in the bedroom, it was over-ridden by the sound of the surf.
The unit had everything we needed for our stay and the in-unit washer/dryer was a great convenience.

Overall we had an enjoyable visit. The gorgeous lanai sunrises could not be beat. The living furniture was comfortable as was the bed. I despise wicker couches! The unit had some updates but is in dire need of more. The new toilet wasn’t installed properly and the handle broke off. My husband is handy and fixed it promptly. Also the bedroom doorknob was falling off, again my husband fixed it. It’s like we never left home, he had his “honey-do” list. The lanai is oceanfront which makes for a beautiful view one way, just don’t look the other way or you view a busy road and the homeless on the beach below. The final night we were there we returned to our unit only to find our entry code didn’t work. We were locked out in our beach clothes. We immediately phoned Cindy with premier Kauai the property management on the “emergency” line and got no answer. We had a dinner reservation (it was our 20th wedding anniversary) and wanted to clean up. We ended up calling Cindy well over 10 times when she finally picked up and helped us get in. Unfortunately we missed our dinner reservation by then. Honestly, I was hoping for some sort of acknowledgement as when we booked the form had asked if this was a special occasion so I stated yes and explained. There wasn’t any sort of special note or welcome when we arrived. In comparison when we stayed in a condo in Kona, the owners had a note and a bottle of wine and coffee for us when we arrived and it wasn’t even a special occasion when we stayed there. It’s not expected but it sure is nice when owners appreciate your business. We booked the Kona condo 2 years in a row, not sure I would rebook this one. The actual location of the condo was wonderful as it was midway and a short drive to most attractions. The condo has mostly positives with some issues to consider when booking.

We had an amazing stay at the property, was exactly as described in the description and had no issues at all. The view from the patio is fantastic and the AC kept the bedroom cool all night, and as long as the vents are open the whole apartment stays cool. As description states there is no elevator and this is on the third floor so be aware when booking. Location makes it an easy drive to get anywhere on the island and walking distance to some shops and restaurants. There are also chairs and umbrellas to use provided by the hosts, and we left some pool floats for future guests to use.

The pluses: location was by a swim fun beach with moderate waves; the kitchen was very well equipped, and it was a nice bonus to have so many cooking spices and oils; the balcony was wonderful with the views and the little side coffee bar. The minuses: tough place to sleep - as the noise from highway 56 was annoying, we never slept past 6:15 am; coffee pot was broke, with the only way to make coffee was manually inserting a knife into the filter holder to keep the flow of water going,; the TV cable remote was not functional - although the streaming devices worked; the electrical that controlled the bedroom and living room was cross wired - so when we turned on or off one room, the other room would also respond.

We enjoyed our stay. Place was clean and ready for us. The view is phenomenal. Couch was comfortable. Appreciated having beach chairs and umbrella to use at the beach. Only suggestions would be to do some small upgrades in the condo: cabinets are old especially in the kitchen (one of the doors was coming off hinge). Also, both sets of sheets for bed were old and worn out. Would be nice to have newer sheets to sleep on. Also, shampoo/soap holder in shower is rusted and old (replacing that would just look better). Thanks!

The condo was clean and well equipped, and we enjoyed the view from our lanai and hearing the soothing sounds of the ocean. It could use some updates, such as the old louvered windows in the bedroom that did not close tight, and it was a bit noisy being so close to the main road through town. Cindy’s customer service and communication were outstanding, and she responded to my emails in a timely manner. We enjoyed sitting by the pool with many types of beautiful plants and flowers. Our one and only complaint is the building does not have an elevator, which is not stated in the description, and being on the third floor meant several trips up and down three flights of stairs. Good exercise but not easy carrying our luggage up and down the stairs. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The view from this condo is unbelievable. The unit was extremely clean, the bed was very comfortable, there were plenty of towels and the in-unit washer/dryer were a real help. Lots of other extras (beach chairs, coolers, etc). Some of the finishes are a bit dated but we weren't there for a HGTV remodel! Cindy was very responsive to any questions. Only negative is that the unit is pretty close to a busy road. Need to run the bedroom AC to drown it out. But in the living area all you can hear is the waves!

Kitchen was well stocked, plenty of towels, extra bedding, etc.
we didn’t realize until our last day that there are binoculars in the basket under the tv and some books with local history under the coffee table- that would have been nice to know. Maybe that info could be in the welcome book, especially with whales visible right outside.
We loved waking up and drinking coffee and watching the beautiful sunrise.
The location offers easy access to the highway. However, there’s quite a lot of road noise. We quickly learned that running the air conditioner at night drowns out much of that noise.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

This condo was very clean, and in a great location in Kauai. The property is a little older, which I had expected. There were a few things in the listing that are not correct. This property was listed as having a king bed, but it is a queen. Also, the pictures are obviously dated. The view from the patio is wonderful, however in the pictures in the listing, there was a line of trees/bushes behind the beach. Since those pictures, those trees have been removed and what you see is the main road (very busy). The sliding doors to reach the patio were also very difficult to open and close. We found these to be small issues, but it would be nice if the listing was updated to be accurate.

We spent our first three nights on Kauai at this property. It was a convenient location to do our shopping (Costco, Walmart, Safeway, etc.) for the rest of the time we were on island. The views of Wialua Bay from this 3rd floor condo and the sounds of the ocean and surf were amazing. One caution - You'll need to carry everything up to the 3rd floor as there's no elevator. During the day the breeze kept us comfortable, but it was also nice to have A/C in the bedroom for sleeping.
I would definitely recommend this property for anyone flying into Kauai.

The view from the balcony is exceptional! Ocean and mountains greeted us every day, and the beach next to the complex had the softest sand! The unit was slightly wider than we expected, which gave it a roomy feel. The pool is refreshing and well maintained. You do hear some noise from the pool in the bedroom but we never heard neighbors in the living room, which was really nice! The appliances are a little rustic, but we found that to be typical for the area. It's extremely well positioned to get around to shops and restaurants. We stayed for a month and wish we could have stayed longer! Best of all the communication with the owners was top notch. They responded very quickly and gave us a late checkout as well. Very accommodating!

My wife and I spent a few days in Kauai on our honeymoon before heading to a resort in Maui. This quiet condo was exactly what we were looking for before heading off to a busier resort. The view from the patio was amazing and sets this place apart from others. The condo was a little old but well worth it for the price. The A/C in the bedroom and washer and dryer were both great additions. We would definitely stay here again if we can ever make it back to Kauai!

My husband and I had a fabulous time in Kauai, part credit is due to this condo. It is in the perfect location- Kapa'a has a lot of restaurants and stores and other parts of the island are easily accessible. The view from the lanai was outstanding. We very much enjoyed waking up with the sunrise and enjoying our coffee while overlooking the surf. Beach access was very easy and it felt like our own little private slice of beach. The kitchen could probably stand to be updated but honestly, it really didn't make too big of a difference. We had everything we needed in terms of amenities, both for the kitchen and for beach activities. The condo was quite humid, however, so the air conditioning in the bedroom saved us. The bed was VERY comfortable and the a/c made it perfect. The condo was very quiet the entire week. The pool was really pretty and was surrounded by lush greenery and flowers. We would definitely stay here again. :)

This was our first visit to Kauai. We picked this place based on reviews and we were delighted. This unit is on the third floor. As you climb up you get a lot of ocean breeze till the second floor and then it drops. I wish they had a lower unit but the view more than makes up for it. This unit overlooks the Wailua Bay and you can see the stunning arc of the beach from the Lanai. It is especially beautiful on a full moon night. The ocean just lights up and a cloud comes over the moon and it turns of like a lamp only to turn back on again. The unit has sufficient sleeping for 4. The kitchen was well stocked. The unit was clean. Helen, who is one of the managers, was more than helpful. We were late on the last day since we were stuck up a river and she was able to let us stay on for another hour past our scheduled time.
The location is just awesome. It is central to most tourist attractions. The only place away was the Waimea Canyon but that is a whole day trip no matter where you stay.
The beach is 3 mins from the place and there is a great bakery right across the street and a gas station too. I have read reviews about noise from from the gas station but I did not experience ANYTHING like that. I will definitely visit again and stay in the same unit. Highly recommended for families, couples, seniors.

This was our first time in Kauai and our first vbro rental. We had a fantastic experience. The Premier Kauai Vacation Condos team was great to work with. The unit has an amazing view of the beach and is so amazingly comfortable and homelike. You can easily walk to the beach next door and the unit is fully stocked with beach towels and gear, so that you can enjoy the water immediately. Just as a warning, there's only A/C in the bedroom. However, there's a box fan that can be used in the living room as well as a ceiling fan, so the entire unit was comfortable, even during a heat wave. There are grocery stores just a few minutes away, making it easy and convenient to cook in the unit. But there're also a ton of restaurants nearby, so feel free to go out instead! We also felt that logistically, Wailua Bay View was a perfect place to stay. We ended up doing a lot on the North and South side of the island. If we'd stayed in either place, the drive to the other side would have been extensive. This way, the drive never seemed excessive. The next time we're in Kauai, we would definitely stay here again. And until then, we've got a lot of pictures of the view from the lanai to remind us of paradise.

This was one of the best places with the best views we stayed at, ever. The cost was very reasonable for what we were getting. We had an awesome time cooking and eating at the lanai. It was pretty great to wake up to the ocean and its sounds every morning! The beach isn't busy, and that worked out great. I slept tight at night, there was no disturbance whatsoever. If I had to pick a place to stay at Kauai again, I would pick this one!

I think I am in the double digits in terms of my number stays at Wailua Bay View Condos and i never tire of the view or of the sound of the ocean. I love the central location, with access to a beautiful, lightly occupied beach. Last time I saw board paddlers and this year I saw para-surfers. The new bike/walking trail is a lovely addition. The unit had all the amenities, although two, rather than one beach chair would have been better for beach going. However, there are nearby places to rent beach stuff. I have determined the minimum length of stay is 10 days but I have yet to test the maximum length of stay. I am afraid if I stay too long, I'll never be able to get back into work mode. Thanks for the great unit: it was comfortable and anyone staying in it will love it.

Once agaion, our winter stay at Wailua Bay View was nothing short of paradise! The weather was fantastic.
Our unit was clean and had some recent upgrades. The view, as always, was wonderful.
The location is great as it is central to all parts of the island. We traveled to various beaches and golf courses.
Many good restuarants in the Kapaa area. The condo manager, Tim, was very sociable and willing to assist in anything we needed, as was Helen, the agency manager. We look forward to our return next winter.
