We absolutely loved our stay at this unit in Poipu! This unit was exactly what we were looking for. Beautiful grounds, well maintained unit, the unit has the Koa kea and Marriott on the left, and Sheraton on the right. We had sunset drinks at all of the neighboring resorts, we even walked to the Beach House for dinner and drinks (it’s a decent walk, not many Ubers on the island). We found ourselves out hiking, snorkeling, and navigating most of the island throughout our time, how this unit is great to return for the night, with plenty of restaurants to choose from. I can’t say enough great things about this unit, and the property it’s within. We will be returning again!

Wonderful, large, 1BR apartment, short walk from the beach and multiple dining options. Clean and bright, with lovely grounds. Full kitchen facilities. Pick up some groceries, park your car, and settle in for a great vacation. Surfing, swimming, and sunsets just steps away.
Communication with owner was great, with helpful tips for our stay. Couldn't be happier.

We have stayed at the Kiahuna several time throughout the years. As always it is a gorgeous setting and the condo was fantastic. Guest services and the entire "Kiahuna Crew" were friendly, helpful; greeting you with a smile and aloha. Marga, our host, answered all questions promptly and offered friendly advice on restaurants and activities. We never stay anywhere else.

"Under the Monkey Pod Tree" was an excellent place to stay for our 8 day visit to Poipu. The condo was very clean when we arrived and the bed was really comfortable. We fixed most of our meals and the kitchen was well equipped. Many nights we ate dinner out on the Lanai which felt quite private. The location is great with an easy walk to the beach and shops. We would definitely book this place again!

This Christmas was a repeat stay for our whole family of 11, from 18 months to 75. Our unit with Marga was Outrigger and two other units were with Castle. All one BR garden view.
The overall campus is wonderful and well manicure.d. We watched glorious sunsets every night (we call it front row) either on the spacious lawns or the beach below.
The pool is inconvenient and off property but we were here for ocean rather than pool so no issue. A few small maintenance problems arose but didn’t affect our enjoyment. Loved Kiahuna and our unit!

We are a family of 11 who rented 3 units. This one was ours. It’s located in a quiet area and provides privacy yet a quick walk to the beach. The furnishings are lovely and the kitchen is well stocked with more than we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

My wife and I had a great vacation stay on the south shores of Kauai. Our stay at the Kiahuna Plantation Resort exceeded all our expectations. The unit we rented was prefect for for us. Everything was in great condition plus we felt welcome and enjoyed every day. The grounds of the Kiahuna Plantation are wonderful, park like well kept through out. The beach fronting the planation grounds is one of the nicer beaches around, plus other amazing beaches e.g. Poipu Beach Park, Ship Wreck Beach, are near by and easy to access.
Our host was very supportive and communication prior to visiting was excellent.

The property is nicely set up and very clean. We found the location and amenities to be great. Our grandchildren and their parents were in another Plantation unit. The pool at the athletic club was a great addition to the beach for the little ones. We throughly enjoyed our stay.
Our only complaint was the unit is not air conditioned. Old style air conditioning, open the windows and doors to enjoy the ocean breeze. This may not be within the owners control as it seemed that none of the units in the Plantation under the Outrigger management had AC. This wasn’t highlighted in the description of the condominium. We were a bit surprised by this. It wasn’t hot during our stay so it was pleasant, but, other times of year?
We would stay here again.

The condo is in a great location, offering explorations of the south and west wide of the island. My family enjoyed the workout facilities, pickle ball and basketball courts, as well as the beach. There were restaurants across the street. We liked returning to the clean condo with a kitchen at the end of our adventures. We hope to return.

The pictures do not do this place justice! It is so beautiful. I love that all the furniture was coordinated. The artwork in the unit is so amazing, I really appreciated the turtle piece by the front door. Stunning! Everything was nicely stocked and when we needed ice trays and TP it quickly arrived. We were even locked out one night but security quickly came to the rescue. We loved how convenient Kiahuna Plantation is to the shopping center across the road with lots of good restaurants. Access to the pool center was easy, also just a quick walk across the road and another good place for drinks and food. The Sheraton is next door, also offering more food and drink options. The beach was perfect, lots of families and couples. The water was nice. We loved this unit, surrounded with natural beauty all around. It really felt like we were in the middle of a jungle. We plan to return again and will definitely try to book this unit. Thank you for a wonderful place!

We actually didn’t stay in the unit we rented since it needed some emergency repairs. The owner was great and found us another unit in the same complex that was not in as good location but was still adequate for our needs. The unit we stayed in overlooked the cactus garden which needs some care. The rest of the grounds are immaculate. The cactus garden, not so much.

Didn’t actually stay in the unit for granted because there was work being done on the lanai but at check in they put us in a different unit, same size but closer to the beach/ocean. The condo owners worked with me thru the construction issue & move to a new unit - they were great. Kiahuna Plantation is a great property to stay in Kauai.

Found everything VERY expensive especially with our Canadian exchange. Great bbq’s available but could find nothing in the shops to bbq!

This was a really nice place to stay. We loved the open window/slats. It gave a very open air feel to the beautiful gardens and all the wildlife living in the gardens. It was a short walk to the beach. We would stay here again!

The condo was very nice and as pictured. The kitchen was well-stocked and there was a good selection of beach toys. The only negative was the check-in process. We had gifted this vacation to our daughter and son-in-law so we paid for it and the reservation was made under our name. Three days prior to their arrival, we notified the property manager to put the reservation under their name to ensure a smooth check-in process. Unfortunately, this update wasn't communicated to the Outrigger guest registration desk. We were also staying at the Kiahuna Plantation so we went to the front desk, showed ID and gave permission for the keys to be given to our daughter and son-in-law. The front desk still would not release the keys until the owner was contacted and gave permission. Not a very welcoming experience for our daughter and son-in-law.

We enjoyed sitting on the lanai in the late afternoon and looking up at the leaves of the monkeypod tree while listening to the birds visiting the plumeria trees. And in the morning, we spotted some gigantic African snails on the lawn! Staying in the corner unit on the ground floor was just lovely.

The apartment was advertised, clean and had reasonably well equipped kitchen. Nice large covered patio off of living room provided added space. Few minute walk through the property to beach with chairs and towels available from the beach hut. The beach had good waves for boogie boarding and there were some people surfing and snorkeling - great for families. Very convenient location for all shopping and beaches in the area. We would stay here again if visiting the area.

This property is a great find for visitors looking for open spaces, private beach and wonderful viewing of the ocean and the stars. The athletic club across the road is included and offers family pool, full gym,
tennis and pickle ball. We enjoyed a very special holiday at this location.

The Kiahuna Plantation is a beautiful property with lush gardens and big, gorgeous trees. Office staff are friendly and helpful, especially Jen ,Lizza, and Char. The beach is right there on site and the walk to the pool, hot tub, gym, and Cabana Bar and Grill is easy. The condo location is close to Poipu and Koloa shopping. Owners were helpful and super easy to communicate with. We appreciated the listings of Kaua’i restaurants and stores provided to us by the owners

We had stayed at Kiahuna previously and decided to return. The unit is a nice corner unit under the shade of a Monkeypod tree. The lack of a swimming pool on the property is inconvenient. The pool is at an Athletic Club across the street (it is very nice but inconvenient). The beach is a distance from the unit

The condo is beautiful, in great shape, and well-appointed. I wish I could get similar furniture for my home :) We immediately felt comfortable in the holiday condo where we stayed. Everything we needed was there or made available to us. The owner, Marga, was very responsive when I had questions about this or that.
The only problem we had was upstairs guests with their children, and they sounded like elephants walking across the room seemingly without end. We called the "the elephants." Having said that, we became used to the noise, and we enjoyed the moments when they were out.
