There are ocean views ... then there are "OCEAN VIEWS"!

This gorgeous condo is unit # 218 at the Kaha Lani Resort, which is located on Kauai 's beautiful east shore, the famous 'Royal Coconut Coast'. This building is the closest to the ocean, and this unit truly has the best view on the resort property. There is nothing between your lanai and the ocean to obstruct the panoramic view. Even the master bedroom has an ocean front view, not to mention it's own private lanai. This condo was completely renovated in 2019, and everything inside is new.

You'll find yourself falling to sleep listening to the sounds of the ocean every night, and you'll wake to unforgettable sunrises every morning looking out over the ocean as you enjoy your morning coffee.

One of the wonderful things about this resort is it's central location on the island. It's almost the exact mid point between the Waimea Canyon / Koke'e park west shore area, and the Hanalei / Haena north shore area. When staying here, you're at least half way to anywhere on the island you wish to explore.

In the winter months, your lanai is a "front Row Seat" for watching the humpback whales that make Hawaii their winter home. If you like to walk along the shore, the beach here stretches for miles. Within minutes of the resort, you can visit Lydgate Beach Park, Wailua Golf Course, Wailua river, Opaekaa Falls, Sleeping Giant hiking trail, shops, restaurants, and so much more.

Soak up some sun at the pool, enjoy the beach, play a game of tennis, or just do nothing at all. The memories you make while on vacation at Kaha Lani will be the ones you'll cherish for a lifetime.

The amazing view keeps us coming back. Our stay was fun and relaxing as usual. We found the unit well equipped and comfortable. The complex is well kept and the grounds are beautiful. There is a walking path that runs along the oceanside of the complex and extends in both directions. We like the location because it seems less congested and yet central to drive to other areas. And the amazing view keeps us coming back.

This property is wonderful. Nestled between two parks, both within walking distance. Small beach within walking distance. Condo has an unobstructed view of the ocean from the balcony which has a large seating area. Beautiful sunrises and sounds of the surf 24/7. Inside the condo had everything thing we needed to enjoy our stay. We had an issue with one of the ceiling fans but the property manager took care of it in a timely manner

Nice location near airport and the towns of Wailua and Kapa'a and central to both ends of the island, on the beach with great views of the ocean and close to the resort pool. Well laid out condo, nicely stocked (except for dishwasher detergent which we bought and laundry detergent which they promptly supplied). Inside temp was very comfortable with excellent breeze through condo when sliders open and fans on. Bring earplugs if sensitive to chickens/roosters and/or ocean wave sounds (pretty loud overnight when all else is quiet) . The water directly in front during our stay did not feel safe to swim (large swells and unpredictable waves) ; however, a few minutes walk to right or left, you can safely swim (for adults and teens). 5 minutes walk to the North is Lydgate Beach which was perfect for swimming for all ages. As a bonus you can snorkel and see several schools of fish (including parrot fish). The pool on the property was also very nice to have and we also made use of the poolside gas grills (first come first serve). You can walk for long ways on either direction on the beach if you wish (especially beautiful and "wild" going south). The manager was very responsive to emails. Overall, highly recommend.

My husband and my son along with his girlfriend enjoyed our stay at this property. It’s beautiful and I can’t imagine of a better location or view. The sunrises are stunning, the grounds immaculate and you’re just steps from the beach! Highly recommend!

This was our 2nd stay here and once again it did not disappoint, gorgeous views, really comfortable furniture and bed. I have checked out all the rentals and this is by far the best. The kitchen is very well appointed and even has staples such as sugar, condiments, cocoa. It is the best location on the 2nd floor with unobstructed views of the ocean, we saw an amazing rainbow. You can watch the sunrise if you are an early bird. A couple things to note, the sun is really bright in the primary bedroom and there are only thin curtains, I wore a sleep mask and was fine. I personally love the sound of ocean waves but they are loud and there are also lots of roosters so bring earplugs if that would bother you. There is also a wind tunnel in the hall way when the fan is on so it will slam the door if you don’t block it.

We really enjoyed our week long stay! The ocean front location was amazing. Listening to the ocean waves all night was very peaceful. In the mornings, we could walk across the lawn right out to the beach. The condo had everything we needed. The couch and chairs and beds were comfy. Every morning, I had my morning coffee out on the balcony. The condo had beach chairs, beach towels and even beach umbrellas, boogie board and snorkeling equipment for us to use. I would highly recommend this property - plenty of space for 3 adults.

The location, the unit, the views are simply amazing. The facility is well kept. They have a tennis court. The beach is not bad but the ocean is a little wild, though completely acceptable for swimming. The fact that they have no AC was never a problem with the winds and fans in every room. I highly recommend this unit. One issue: there was no toilet paper, paper towel, or shampoo at arrival. There are stores within 5 minutes drive, but when you arrive at 10pm, it becomes an issue.

Coming in from a 3 night stay on Waikiki Beach, this condo is exactly what the doctor ordered. Way more our speed. First impression was amazing. Property and grounds keeping, meticulously kept. Condo had a gorgeous view, was functional and comfortable. Great location on the island. Our first concern was that there is no AC. Coming from Texas we are accustomed to running it, especially at night. The trade-winds and through breeze certainly helped offset that issue. There were a few nights that stayed in the low 70's with higher than normal humidity so sleep was a bit restless. Second concern were the beds. READ ON. They seemed hard and we were discussing a trip to Walmart for some mattress pads but I'm glad we didn't. We actually slept great on them, were well rested and woke up feeling really good. Beach! Did someone get the memo we wanted a private beach? We've regularly vacation in Seaside, FL and Mexico and it's always a fight to find a nice unobstructed water view spot on the beach. I literally went down at first light to "stake my claim" to a spot and NOBODY else showed up. It wasn't until about 6:30pm when a couple came down for a bit. Other than that, a few fisherman about 80 yards in the other direction. This was the case for most days. Just another couple or two. Amazing! I attribute that to people exploring the island as we did as well. I would absolutely stay here again in the future.

This was our first time to Hawaii. We wanted our first trip to be relaxing and quiet. We decided on this location for 7 nights and had a rental car for the entire trip. The overall experience was excellent. Beautiful views and easy access to the beach. Everything on the island is easily accessible with a vehicle. There is no amenities (restaurants, shops) within a couple miles of this location, so keep that in mind if you want to have that. They only downside to this rental was there was no air conditioning. We’re from California so it’s been awhile since I’ve been in 80% humidity. Our trip was in May 2022 with half the time clear and half rain. Even the locals said it was very humid for some of that period. Unfortunately, there was one night I couldn’t sleep because of the conditions. If there was air conditioning in this condo I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. If you want quiet, secure, and a Beautiful location, this is perfect. After exploring the entire Island and all the resorts, for the price and no air conditioning I think I would have chosen something else. Last thing to keep in mind is book all you activities well in advance. Even in the off season all activities were booked up a few weeks to months out. Fortunately we got to do about 3/4 of what we wanted, but weather also canceled a few things. Kauai is definitely the first island to visit.

We could not have pick a more perfect location on the island. Conveniently located in the middle of the island, shopping and easy day trips to everything we wanted to do on both the east, north and south shorelines. We loved falling asleep every night to the sounds of the waves and watching the sunrise with a cup of Kauai coffee every morning from the balcony. Condo is very nice, comfortable beds, and kitchen is well equipped. Foodie recommendations: Chicken in a Barrel in Waimea is delicious and the location is on a beautiful plantation. Don't forget to try Tiki Tacos and Jojo's shaved ice. Back Country Tubing was a blast and the Canyon drive is gorgeous (just make sure to head up early in morning, start from top and work your way down before the clouds come in.) Would definitely rent this condo again!

This is probably the first VRBO property that I'd considering buying for my own use. Though it's among a small enclave of condos, nary a neighbor can look in on the balcony or the master bedroom balcony. The ocean views from either deck are expansive. Located just north of the airport, you're not near any golf courses (if that's your bag, pun intended), but you're also not in any of the "cruise ship" properties and their crush of vacationers. It's simply a great, low-stress location. You can walk to one beach or easily drive north or south to get to others of your choosing. Costco and Safeway are nearby, and the kitchen is well appointed, so you can create your own meals -- and dine inside, on the deck overlooking the ocean, or BBQ poolside. And this may sound odd, but it's one of the few properties we have ever rented that has comfortable beds, sofas and easy chairs. Additionally, kudos to whoever decorated the interior -- it felt very tropical in an unforced way.

I can’t say enough how perfect this condo is for a relaxing vacation. You look out over the grass to the ocean, you can see the sunrise and we even saw the full moon rise over the ocean It is gorgeous. Inside is also beautiful, comfortable furniture, a kitchen with every amenity you could want and beautiful hardwood floors. There is no smoking on the property and it was very quiet (except for the sound of the ocean;) In front of the resort is a walkway where you can calk for miles, Lydgate beach is less than a 10 min walk. We are already booking for next year. We went to the farmers market on Kapa’a at Coconut Marketplace (Tu/Thu) as well as a Costco run and we were set. Don’t miss JO2 in Kapa’a fabulous restaurant.
