This is a great ground floor unit with more than adequate space and gorgeous views on to the golf course. The rental had tasteful and comfortable furniture; we really appreciated the table lamps for evening reading after the sun went down. We had a slight hiccup at the beginning of our stay which was addressed in a remarkably genuine and personal manner by the host's agent; thanks to Lyra for restoring our faith in VRBO. The kitchen was as well-equipped as our own and included ample plastic cups and plates for lunches on the covered lanai. The pool and bbq area is super clean with a shower for hosing off the chlorine afterwards. Having covered parking was a huge bonus--no one enjoys getting into a hot and steamy car first thing. We walked everywhere, including to the local shopping center to pick up last minute things. You've probably looked long enough - go ahead and book this one before someone else does.

Our family of 4 enjoyed an amazing stay at this beautiful property. The amenities of the property were top notch and every part of the house was clean and brand new. The beds were very comfortable and my family of 4 had more than enough space. The house came with plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas and snorkeling equipment which we were able to use every day. The area was perfect and we were able to get to two beach areas for snorkeling within a 5-minute walk. There is also plenty of walking paths nearby to get out in the morning. The pool was very nice and perfect for our children. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property.

The kitchen is well appointed. Lots of beach towels and beach gear, like chairs and umbrella which you'll need. There's also sand toys for the kids. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We're highly recommend. A couple of things to note about Kauai, reservations are needed for some of the touristy things, like the Limahuli Garden and commercial tours cease on the weekends. You can easily rent kayak/SUPs from and still get out on the weekends.

Property had everything we needed to thoroughly enjoy our family vacation including a well stocked kitchen, beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, etc. The location was beautiful and convenient but quiet. We walked to a beach and to an art festival. The pool and grills were clean and steps away. We especially loved sitting outside on the covered and private lanai. The condo was perfect for our family of four, and we loved it!

The guest bath has a great partition that effectively makes two master suites. It was the perfect setup for two couples travelling together. The back window has a beautiful view of the golf course but you can't really go too far off your patio or the golfers get a bit upset that you are in their fairway, which makes sense since they don't want to hit you with their ball. Great place. Would definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay in Hale Emmalani #311. It was the perfect layout for two couples and an infant. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook, prep and store food. We found the beds to be super comfy. We enjoyed morning walks to The Spot for breakfast and it will be a quick walk over to the 1 Hotel when it's open. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises from the back lanai and would walk out the back door and to the left about 200 yards for great sunset views overlooking the water. We were there the week of the NCAA Basketball Championship and the Masters and the guys said they wish the TV was a little bigger/updated, but that was the only "negative." But you don't come to Kauai to watch TV :) We spent our days at Hanalei or Anini Beach. Bar Acuda was the best meal we had all week! Would definitely stay here again!

The condo was well-decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen was extremely well-stocked and very nice to cook in, the place was plenty large, and the pool/grill area is even closer than it looks on a map. Walking out onto the golf course at sunset was great, and it's not far from the highway to Hanalei. There was a bunch of good beach equipment provided, including a cooler. The lanai was a great place to have a meal and watch the occasional golfer, although we did get a golf ball shot in our direction by a lawnmower, which was pretty scary.
A few things weren't great:
The checkout time is 10am (an hour earlier than I've seen at most places) and they expect you to wash and put away all dishes before you check out. Most places just ask you to wash your dishes and the cleaning staff will put them away when they come through, after the dishes have had a chance to dry. I think this is the reason I found several dishes that had been put away wet and were molding (there were a couple of pretty gross surprises). For us, it just meant we had to spend a bit more time drying and putting away dishes from breakfast.
There's not a lot of privacy to be had on the lanai or in the living room/kitchen, since it is on the ground floor next to the golf course.
We found two cockroaches during our stay - a dead one in the shower and a live one in the other bathroom. I know the occasional invader isn't unusual, but seeing two was mildly concerning.
Finally, the place just needed a bit of general upkeep. There were a handful of broken window blinds throughout, a broken tabletop decoration, and some paint touchup needed.

It is incredibly comfortable, peaceful, gorgeous location for watching sunrise and sunset views, and is truly a lovely home away from home with every convenience thought out perfectly. LOVE this place!!!

Good and comfortable property. Checked in at 5pm and unit was still being cleaned. Went to dinner and then came back and was fine. Property manager stated that we booked it last minute and hence was the reason if the cleaning mixup.. Booked it on April 23rd for a May 21 stay. Not sure if I equate that to last minute.
It was clean, comfortable and great location to walk to the cliff for sunsets. Wish the condo had full A/C when the winds don’t blow. Can get hot.
