OVERALL: Would highly recommend to friends/family, and I would def book here again! BOOK YOUR STAY HERE! DOWNSIDE: Only complaint was the water pressure in both showers. Would highly recommend hand-held shower head to make it easier/more flexible for all heights and may make the water pressure better. The master toilet had some issues with the seal (water kept running), but my dad did a quick fix. The HDMI cable was also loose, which we figured out and fixed as well. Other than that, unit was great!! STAY: Exactly as pictured! Place was clean and views were amazing in 323! Stayed first wk in May and the tides were high beginning 11a-evening (not sure I would swim, esp w young kids). May be better to travel to North beaches. But the beach was steps away from the property. No noise complaints or any issues encountered on the property. LOCATION: I felt this was centrally located to the airport, markets, shops/restaurants. It's also an easy 30-40min drive North and South. COMMUNICATION: I received responses within 12hrs, which is great IMO! I also saw a recent review before my stay that was alarming and expressed my concerns. Received a prompt response and reassurance that issues were resolved. Upon arrival/during my stay, encountered NO ISSUES.

1. The place was not cleaned properly, 2. The property management office was not interested in helping us 3. Our car fuel was stolen and we reported it and the Seciruty said that the office would contact us but nobody did. 3. Toilet was broken and we reported it and it took us multiple calls before someone responded. A plunger was left for us to deal with the issue. The toilets had to be flushed manually. 4. Shower curtain rod kept falling off. Upon inspection we realized the self adhesive plaster was torn. 5. It says on the sheet of paper we received that office was contactable between 8 am and 4 pm. Nobody’s there at 8:00 am. Only managed to see somebody at 8:30.

The property had a gorgeous view of the beach, and you are on it in under 2 minutes. Not at all crowded, and ample beach gear from the hosts to enjoy it. Everything we hoped it could be. We will be back the next time we come to Hawaii.

This was a perfect location for our family with 5 adult kids. The home was clean and spacious. It was a great location to get to all areas of the island. And, other than the rosters, it was a peaceful area and not crowded.

Customer service was outstanding. The view is unbelievable! The unit we had was clean and thoughtfully appointed and equipped. Bathrooms are a bit tired and need update but everything else was great. Only drawback is no laundry in condo but laundry area was easy to use. Highly recommend

The perfect location and accommodations for our family vacation. Such a joy to wake to the sounds of the ocean right outside the lanai.

This was a great space for two families! The master bedroom is super comfortable and the sound of the waves are awesome! The bed in the 2nd bedroom could use an upgrade! Thanks for the umbrella and chairs to use. We enjoyed walking down to the Tiki bar over at the Hyatt. Great central location! Super close to airport. We paddle boarded up Wailea river which was super close as well.

This is a tough review because it is definitely affected by the weather we experienced - however, you need to be forewarned. We had mostly rainy, stormy weather over the Christmas/New Year holidays which is not unusual for that time of year - and I knew that was a possibility when booking. What I didn't expect is that it would storm almost 10 days straight, and most of the windows in this place are louvered, and some did not work and none of them seal well. In order to stay cool, the windows needed to be open, but when it storms, you get overwhelmed with humidity and wind, and the view suffers from the fact that the windows get steamed up, etc. I myself normally love being immersed in my surroundings - the sounds of the waves crashing - but this was definitely too much immersion for my wife and kids and even for me. If the place had air conditioning and fully functional windows it would have been fine because we could have shut out the weather. Also, as a result of all the humidity, the carpeting and furniture upholstery has a damp, clammy feel to it. I dropped something under our bed one night and when I felt for it I noticed the carpeting under the bed was wet with humidity. That being said, if the weather had been pleasant, I probably wouldn't have even cared about any of this. The condo was as shown in the photos, including the awesome view, however, up close there was a lot of pealing paint and other signs of wear, and the rooms were smaller than expected and overall it felt a bit cramped for our family of 5 adults. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots and pans, etc. Dishwasher was on the fritz but management was quick to offer a housekeeper to wash dishes each morning, something we did not take them up on but it was nice for them to at least offer. One "pro tip:" skip Lydgate Beach north of the condo - busy, small and odor from septage treatment plant a big negative. Instead, try Lydgate Beach SOUTH of the condo - wide, expansive, sugar-sand, mountain views in both directions, and almost no people given that the county's Wailua Golf Course and a state park campground border this beach. You will hardly notice the campground and golf course because they are up on a hill and if anything only add to the visual appeal of the place. The only resorts in this 2.5 mile stretch of beach are Kaha Lani on the north end and Kauai Beach Resort on the south end. On a nice day, this beach can't be beat.

Location was great, ocean front. Tide pool right down the walking path to snorkel away from the crowded towns very quite location. This is my 5th trip to Kauai and this was by far the best ocean front condo I have had. No air conditioning but the trade winds kept the unit cool day and night.

Hello, we enjoyed our stay and just recommend that more communication takes place earlier regarding the check in process. When we arrived at 5 pm, I had not received the email that directed us to call in advance of checking in after 3 pm. We tried contacting all of the emergency numbers with no luck and never heard back from the messages we left. Fortunately, one of our party caught someone who had stayed late and he found our keys for us. We would have been out of luck if we didn’t find that person. I recommend that if you keep check-in after 3 pm that the office is open after 3 pm or you streamline the ability to access keys after 3 pm. Thank you!

The property has great views, see the sunrise everyday. At night, you can see star and moon. The appliance is bit outdated, but still function. We loved our stay

It’s hard to find lodgings for a family of 6 and this 3 BR condo was great. This third floor unit was well equipped with nice furnishings. It does not have AC but the breezes kept us cool and it was never a problem. There is no washer/dryer, which would have been really nice. Pay laundry on premesis though. Our unit had a perfexr view and great access to a pretty little beach. I would recommend this place to friends.

There is a homeless encampment right at the property entrance. Homeless folks are regularly on the pathways adjacent to the property strip between Kaha Lani and the beach (particularly near the campsite area) is littered with glass, trash, and debris. I saw a hypodermic needle on the property strip near where some homeless folk appear to be living. Some areas of Lydgate Park reek of urine. I didn't feel safe walking to Lydgate Park alone. This is not what my three prior Kaha Lani trips were like. As for the unit, it is a bit dated, but fine. The master shower could use a good cleaning. The deck and bedrooms were great! I woke up every morning to a sunrise view from the master bedroom. Kauai needs to address the homelessness mess they helped create with actions taken during the pandemic or watch tourism plummet. If I had understood the state of the homeless situation near Kaha Lani I would not have come. The owners of 323 (all Kaha Lani units) should give all the folks who have rented or are renting the unit during this enduring homelessness situation a substantial refund as the resort is downgraded by the current situation. It is truly a shame.

Great location. . The unit was clean and we'll appointed. Considering that it's a 3 bedroom, the resort mgmt seemed stingy with tp and dish soap. Worked out though. Would book it again next time.

There was not any cooking oil, coffee, salt and pepper. NOTHING! Fry pans that everything stuck to them. The beds in guest rooms very uncomfortable. Master bed comfy. Because we booked with Vrbo Castle vacations never answered our emails or voice mails. Very confusing.

Note: Vacancy calendar is approximate. Visit the owner/manager's reservation site to verify your dates.
