Great unit with the most amazing views of the ocean. Went to sleep to the sound of waves and woke up to turtle sightings daily. Check in was efficient and we were welcomed with some Hawaiian coffee and chocolates for our stay, that was a lovely touch. Kitchen was large enough for our 5 night stay. Only recommendation would be to be a bit more thorough in cleaning e.g. between couch and fridge and behind the moveable kitchen island.

The locations is perfect. Views are wonderful. Valley Isle is a gorgeous resort. The unit could use some simple updates and a good cleaning of the vent over the Murphy bed. Bed was comfortable. Great time.

Property manager responds very quickly and are very accommodating. Location is great, parking is easy, view is spectacular, and the unit has a very private feel to it. We thoroughly enjoyed every sunset we could out on the lanai! Inside everything is clean and in order. There’s beach right outside, though during high tide there’s not much of it available :) We did enjoy our stay a lot!!

Everything was as advertised. Wonderful view from the 11th floor balcony! Great home base as it is very close to Lahaina and the beautiful beaches of the north shore. Would highly recommend!

The inside of the Condo is 100% private. The view from inside and out is awesome (literally). We saw at least 20 groups of whales and many turtles. On a calm day I snorkeled all the way out to the reef and, as long as you remain on the shore side (east) of the reef, the waves can't push you into any trouble. We visited beaches up and down the coast and walked the boards. But we also spent a lot of time in the Condo because it was so relaxing -open air, no need for closed up AC! We bought take-out meals and brought them back to the room. Why eat at a restaurant when we have the best view possible?

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! So thankful we chose this location. Our favorite thing was the lanai. The view was incredible - occasionally saw turtles swimming in the water below our lanai. Watched whales out in the channel every morning. Sunset views were spectacular! Simple studio condo…a little updating is probably due, but didn’t detract from our stay at all! It was the perfect size for two people and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay - even a table big
enough to work a jigsaw puzzle on a rainy day. Slept every night with only the screen door closed, to the sound of ocean waves. Herb was very responsive to any and all needs we had and was so kind to offer suggestions for our stay. If we ever get to come back, we would choose to stay here again for sure!

This was our first experience with VRBO and it went very well. The view was spectacular! The room is very compact, but large enough for two people. We did quite a bit of cooking and the size of the kitchen made it a one person show, but we made it work,

Negatives: When my husband and I arrived at the condo, we were shocked to find that there was no air conditioning. This was not clear on the details of the booking. If I had known this prior to booking this condo, I would have chosen a different option. The carpets need to be cleaned. The images show a coffee pot and toaster on a small island, but there are no outlets on/near the island. So you have to move them to the small kitchen that is already limited on space. The location of the pool had a constant wind that made it too chilly to enjoy.
Positives: The view was incredible. You could see turtles each day. At night you could see them in the shallows, resting. Location is relatively close to most anything you want to do.

This place is perfect for a couple who wants to enjoy the beauty of Hawaii. My husband and I loved being able to cook breakfast in the little kitchen then eat it on the beautiful ocean front patio!! I would recommend this place to anybody!!

This place has quite an amazing view! If you are looking for a super nice place with tons of amenities, this is not the place for you but if you are looking for a budget friendly option that has amazing views, this is the place!

The ocean view can be seen from the entire studio and is completely private. Some photos taken from the corner of the balcony show a neighboring building, but unless you are standing right there, the balcony is private as well. It is so relaxing to see nothing but ocean! Too hot? Just open the entry door a crack and lock the heavy metal screen door and a breeze will blow right through the room.

Views from the condo were amazing! Stunning sunsets. Beach access was also great. Saw several turtles along the shoreline each day. Unit had everything we needed. It was a bit dated and the carpet was dirty however we didn’t come to Maui to sit inside so it wasn’t a big deal to us. Mahalo.

This was a great location to be closer to the beaches up north. There are a few restaurants within walking distance. The view from the lanai is amazing! The nights were cool, so we were really comfortable without the need for air conditioning. The property manager promptly answered when we called. Thanks!!

This nice efficiency unit in the Valley Isle building gives a commanding view of the Channel between Maui and Molokai. Tradewind breezes are brisk to vigorous most of the time, and keep the unit comfortable, because there is no AC, and you really need those breezes to stay cool.The unit is very clean, very functional, and supports the comfort and needs of one or two people very nicely. Breakfasts on the balcony lanai at sunrise, and dinners at sunset, simply can't be beat!

This was a great little place for me. I travelled alone, but this would also be great for a couple. The view is one of the best features of the place. The sunset was amazing. The thing that I overlooked was that there was no A/C. There is a screened security door that can allow really good air flow through the unit, but is something to remember when you come. Overall, it was a great stay.
