This property was amazing! It was attached to the beach, had a lovely pool, and the place itself was very spacious. The only reason why I took one star away is most restaurants were a decent drive away.

Great stay over all, few minor issues…
They charged $15 a day for parking which we were not told about,
The water faucet in the bathroom did not work properly,
The location was great and we enjoyed staying there.

Enjoyed the clean, updated condo. Good AC. The pictures and descriptions were spot on. Ocean views were beautiful. Nice, quiet area. The property management was excellent. We had a question and Emmett responded immediately. The host provided suggestions which were helpful. We walked every morning to the nearby coffee shop. We also walked across the street to Dollie's Pub, a great local place to go for great pizza and drinks.
Would highly recommend staying here.

The accommodations were very comfortable and had everything we needed. From beach towels/chairs to laundry pods to do a load of wash. The property manager was very quick to respond to any inquiries. The property at Royal Kahana is very well maintained and close to amenities and several beautiful beaches. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this suite as a place to call home for your stay here in Maui.

Older property, but unit has been nicely updated and has a comfy bed. Good AC. Good location, easy parking. We were really impressed with the cleanliness of the common areas - lobby, BBQ’s, pool, etc. condo was well equipped with towels, dishes, etc.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The owners have done a very good job to make their guests’ stays easy. There are beach towels, beach chairs, and a cooler ready to go. The bed was super comfortable. The furnishings were lovely. When we had to contact Emmett, the property manager, he responded immediately. One issue we had was that the oven/broiler did not work, although the burners did. When instructed to flip the breaker off and on to try to get the oven to work, we located the fuse box but decided to not touch anything since the fuse box looked dicey. We also couldn’t understand why the burners and the oven would have been on separate breakers. The other issue was the instruction sheet left for guests. It needs updated so that the current situation with the locks and with trash disposal is accurately presented. These, however, were minor annoyances and overall our stay in this property was just what we needed. Kudos to the owners for making their unit so comfortable and welcoming.

My daughter and family absolutely loved this place. Ground floor, secure patio, toys left from others. They watched toddler play in mornings while drinking coffee. We had a sudden death occur which delayed her travel, Ryan (host) was so understanding and even though I didn't ask for refund, he offered on his own and refunded night we lost. Says a lot about his personality.

Love to warm pool and easy beach access. Condo was clean and fresh. Ryan was very accessible and accommodating. For anyone sleeping on the pull out in the front room, there is a bit of noise from the front parking lot as guests come and go at all times of the night (likely due to flight arrivals/departures). The bedroom is very quiet.

Lovely ground floor unit, close to small beach. We didn’t find too much to do in the immediate area, but we’re a close drive to lots of great beaches and activities. Overall a fantastic condo for a 4 person family.

What an amazing condo. Very clean and the view cannot be described in words. Pictures can’t even show how great of a view, you just need to experience it for yourself! Walkable to convenience store, liquor store, coffee shop, and casual dining. 5-10 drive to fine dining spots and neighboring beaches. Host also provided a pdf of suggestions which was helpful and appreciated.

The property was nice and clean, we had every amenity to make our stay pleasant. AC was a great asset. There is a swimmable beach right outside the Lanai, the property also had a lovely pool. Staff was friendly. Our property manager was very responsive to our needs. There was a slight issue but the property manager took care of it. Overall I would rate the stay A+.

Our stay was great! We had a little problem the first day we arrived as the upstairs unit was leaking into ours however after contacting Ryan the property manager the situation was resolved. Very nice clean property and walking distance to everything. We will keep this unit in mind for our next trip.

When booking a place online, it can be a little daunting. You always worry the place won't be quite as nice as it looks in pictures. I was happy this was not the case with this property. They did an excellent job representing the property well. It is just as it looks in the description.
The condo was wonderful. Loved the colors and vibe of the decor. Very relaxing. The bed was comfortable besides us not liking the blanket choice. We prefer comforters but I understand that the blankets in most hotel types of places are easier to wash between visits and appreciate that. But that is the only thing I'd change!
The location was perfect. We had great access to a semi private section of beach right outside the lanai. And staying in Kahana gave us great access to both the calmer North western side of the island as well as easy access to the restaurants and shopping in Lahaina.
Of course no trip is ever perfect and there were some minor maintenance/housekeeping snags that occurred. However, the property manager was very professional and kind and got the small issues taken care of right away.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and plan to come back again.

My husband and I stayed at the Royal Kahana in room 107 and we absolutely loved it! The walkability to Hawaiian Village Coffee and all of the little shops and nearby restaurants made a big difference for me every day of our stay. The property has amazing views from the moment you walk in the front door and the rooms are clean and well stocked! Having the cooler, ice maker, beach chairs, washer and dryer, etc. all at the condo was so convenient for our many beach days. The only less than perfect part of our stay, which is minor, was that they leave an envelope in the room for a housekeeper tip and my husband found it tacky since we paid a cleaning fee. Again, very minor, and everything else was wonderful! Would happily stay here again if we make it back to the island.

Loved the place! Walked in to find a nice clean unit! The extras provided (cooler, beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels) came in handy. Having a washer & dryer in the unit was so nice!!! Was so pleasant sitting on the lanai to enjoy the view and have breakfast.
The resort doesn't have beach access but only a few steps away and it was nice and private. Enjoyed the pool/lounge chairs. Conveniently located to dining and grocery store! Would definitely stay here again if there is an opportunity to visit Maui.

We had a great trip to Hawaii. We saw whales from the lanai the first night! I know that's not always a perk that's included but it was definitely great to have a water view no matter what. I appreciated the updated decor and comfortable bed. It was convenient to walk to a few necessities and a short drive to many places we wanted to go. I would stay here again.

We went to Maui for a 10th anniversary celebration and stayed at the Royal Kahana. The unit is beautiful, nicely updated with breathtaking ocean and island views (Molokai). Being on the first floor was convenient both for accessing the pool area but also leaving to go to the beach. Beautiful island, wonderful place to stay.

We enjoyed our time here. The Property manager was easy to communicate with. It was very nice having a washer/dryer in unit. We enjoyed watching the beautiful sunsets from the pool area and you also have a nice view from your unit. Good amount of space for a couple or small family. Mahalo!

It was so nice to grab the boogie board, beach chairs, umbrella and cooler provided at the unit and hang at the little beach just a quick walk from the unit! We saw whales and turtles from sun up to sun down!

I've stayed at this property before so was used to the friendly staff and the cleanliness of the hotel. It's an older hotel but it's in great shape and feels like a home away from home. The condo itself is perfect for a small group or family. It's filled with amenities (kitchen and cooking untensils/dishes), fridge, microwave, blender, coffee pot, washer/dryer) so all you need to worry about is enjoying your vacation. The new pull-out couch was a bonus for the extra family members!

The condo is conveniently located on the first floor, easy to get in and out. The space was enough for our family of four, clean and open. Good quality of furniture, well stocked kitchen, stylish and sturdy bed and couch, we slept really well. Loved the fresh beach themed colors, pretty and relaxing! The location is awesome, walking distance to a general store, and a short drive to plenty of restaurants, beautiful beaches, and the coastal trail. Highly recommend, we’d love to return!

The Condo was perfect, except that there weren't any beach chairs for day trips to other beaches. There weren't any bbq utensils or kitchen towels.
The condo was perfect, comfy bed, the condo was clean, the pool area was fabulous and right out front at the beach, couldn't get any closer if you tried! You guys its all about location and this condo is it!
