The condo is exactly as described and was the perfect location for family beach vacation. It was a quick walk to the beach and perfect to walk back to the condo for kids nap times. Lots of
Room for everyone to spread out. The evening views were amazing, can see a glimpse of the ocean from condo but can still hear the waves at night. The amenities of the pool were a big perk when everyone was too tired at the beach. Can’t say enough good things about the stay here !

We really enjoyed our stay.
Plenty of great beaches on Kauai, however the beach directly on this property had a surf that was too rough/dangerous for swimming during our stay,
The unit we stayed in was just perfect for a couple. We are very thankful that the owners of the unit kindly supplied beach chairs and umbrellas as well snorkeling equipment.

This was our 12th stay at Kiahuna and our favorite unit! The corner with the shade kept the place cool while still getting the island breezes. It was well equipped with all the beach gear we needed and was very nicely updated. Thank you! We will be back.

Thank you for a wonderful stay in your Kiahuna Plantation Condo! This was our second time in this condo and will definitely be coming back!! This condo is well stocked, clean, close to the beach and overall great! Marie makes it so easy to book and makes check in easy. Her communication is super and she answers all questions promptly. She was very flexible and patient when we had to change our dates a couple times. The bed is comfy (not too hard and not too soft!). It was warm in Kauai when we were there but this condo really stays cool with the shutters open and the breeze that comes through. The outside closet had some boogie boards, Bocce Ball, chairs, and even an umbrella for us to use. I could go on and on but the bottom line is that we absolutely loved our stay in Kauai!

We could not have chosen a better place to stay for the week! The property was beautiful and the condo was clean and well taken care of! The breezes through the condo was wonderful. It was a memory that we will never forget! We will be back!

This place was great. You can see the ocean from the back patio. It's very close to a great beach. The pool across the street was perfect for my kids, 4 and 7 years old. The food and drinks at the pool were really good with great pool side service. The activity closet has beach chairs, umbrellas, bocci ball, sand toys. Eating in Kauai is expensive so having a kitchen helped a lot. The dryer lint trap is broken so we just air dried the towels we washed half way into our stay. It could use more cleaning products like for countertops. I obviously don't have much to complain about, lol. We came with seven families and this property was ideal for us all to hang out and BBQ on the HUGE lawns.

We brought our 4 and 6 year old here and had an amazing time. The unit was great. Owner was super helpful and easy to get a hold of. Lots of beach toys etc for the kids, plenty of chairs and umbrellas for us. We did have to use the pull out couch each night. Only caveat there was you can feel the two large bars under the mattress. After two nights, we pulled it off and placed it on the floor. All went ok with sleep after that. Kitchen had some condiments but not all (ie no salt or any oil to cook with) but overall it was well stocked. We would for sure stay again as this is such a perfect spot. About 100 yards of grass in front and then ocean. The kids had so much fun playing outside and we felt so safe there. Can’t wait to return next year!

For us this is a perfectly situated condo in beautiful lush garden grounds, about 100 yards from the beach, with a good view of the ocean. We love the louvred windows which have no glass so you are always connected with the outdoors. The condo itself is great with nice furnishings. We would come here again in the future if the price is not too high.

Marie (owner) and Kiahuna Plantation cover all one's needs away from home. Beautiful unit with gorgeous view! Location is great! This part of the island does not get as much rain as the North side so we were never hindered by weather. Easy drive to anywhere we wanted to go.

Two live 1.5 cockroaches (and a couple small ones) inside unit. Asked for traps, Castle won't provide them. Checked bed for roaches and found small blood stain. They decided to cut the trees right outside our unit with chainsaws for two days. Kiahuna grounds have never been this dirty in the 20 years we've been coming there. We couldn't stand it, we left. We doubt the owner will refund the four nights. So sad to see it like this.

Aloha! This place is amazing! We have stayed several times at the Kiahuna and love the location. This unit is the perfect distance to the ocean. Unit is very well stocked and even had boogie board, cooler and chairs in the closet for us to use. Bed was comfortable (I’m picky about that!) even the sofa bed wasn’t too bad for our teenager. There is no air conditioner which was not a problem at all for us. Temperatures were in the 80’s and the unit never got too hot. Being an end unit we got a lot of breeze coming through and there were fans as well if needed. We had a small Issue when we first got here with shower but Marie took care of it promptly. Communication with her was great. We will definitely be coming back and staying in this unit! Also referred it to some friends as well!! Thanks Marie for sharing your little piece of heaven in Poipu! ❤️

We enjoyed a perfect week in the condo. It was clean and just as expected. Communication with Marie, the owner, was seamless. We’ve stayed at the Kiahuna before and love the grounds. This unit is in a perfect location for kids with run out access to the great lawn for playing and the beach for swimming. We were so happy and will defintely book the unit again.

A fully equipped condo with everything one might desire in the kitchen and a ton of beach stuff in the extra storage space outside (no books though).
It's very close to the beach with nice ocean views from lanai. At the same time it is not beach front or too close to the beach to make crowds impacting guests privacy. Perfect location!
It has not been remodeled recently, but everything works and is in fairly good condition. My only minor complain is about the quality of the bed mattress, which is too soft to my taste (people with back problems beware). The sofa in the living room could use an upgrade as well.
The property is well maintain and the owner is always very responsive and helpful.
Highly recommended and we'll definitely be back!

The location of this condo is perfect. Downstairs unit, opening up to a huge, beautiful green lawn, in front of the beach. We had plans for a couple of excursions, but were so happy and comfortable at the condo, we canceled them and stayed in.

We really enjoyed this ground-floor, end unit with a lovely view of the "great lawn" plus some ocean and sunset views as well. We particularly appreciated the shady lanai... sitting outside was perfect any time of the day. (We have stayed in other units where afternoon sun makes it impossible to sit on the patio and condos get quite hot.) We discovered that an end unit is also great for additional air flow... catching the breeze on 3 sides. We always found parking nearby, and were close to the path to Waiohai/Poipu beach, a short walk and gentler place to swim. This is a great, tastefully-decorated unit!

The location and view of this unit is unbeatable. You see a big lawn with tall coconut trees, the beach, and the ocean, all you could wish for from an oceanfront vacation house. I wish I could post a picture here. You'll fall asleep in the sound of waves and wake up by the singing of roosters. The room is clean. There are numerous beach toys in the closet. Both the owner and the property manager are nice to work with. The reason I am giving it a 4-star is because the bed is too soft, softer than most hotel beds and uncomfortable. Overall I highly recommend this unit. You'll have a relaxing vacation here.

This unit was in a great location: end unit so it felt a bit more secluded than others, Lanai opening directly on the large patch of lawn (which was dreamy for our 5yo), and with sea views.
The unit had everything you need for a vacation and the added bonus of beach toys for kids.
Communication with the property manager was fast and easy.
Would definitely stay there again!

The property is located in a beautiful spot. There were no bug issues, but cleanliness was a little underperformed such and dirty dishes and shower was not very clean. I understand that this is in the hands of a 3rd party. The condo itself was stocked with plenty of toys and items for water activity. The booth board was cracked a bit though so it didn’t work for our daughter. The nights got a nice cross breeze but was still a bit uncomfortable with heat at night since no AC (I knew this would be a factor)
All in all I give it a 4 out of 5.
I LOVED the comfort of the bed, couch and blowup mattress. The lanai was so quaint and beautiful. Perfect for kids and morning breakfast

Kathy, the owner, was amazing! She took such good care of us and responded right away with every question we had! Her place was great... super location and amazing view and very comfortable!
