This property was perfectly as described. It was conveniently located to many amenities. The kitchen had everything needed for easy cooking and the outdoor closest housed all sorts of beach gear. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio in the morning and enjoying the golf course view. Our kids loved the pool and how close we were to the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time at this villa. We chose this villa because of the tasteful decor, and we were pleased to see that the villa is just as lovely in person as it is in pictures. We stayed there for 4 nights with our 2 kids, ages 12 and 10, and we felt like we were at a high-end resort. Really thoughtful touches like comfortable beds, plush towels, and a fully-stocked kitchen with nice dishware and cookware really made the difference. We also loved using the beach chairs, umbrellas, and snorkels that were in the outside closet, and played card games and board games from the cabinet. The location was great and we walked multiple times to Queen's Marketplace and the Kings Shops for shaved ice, poke, and loco moco. We would definitely stay here again.

4 of us stayed in this unit very comfortably. Very clean, organized and well stocked place. Everything was very new and exactly as advertised. Pool was great for families. 5 minute walk to Kings market and close enough to walk to the beach (although it is easier to drive with little ones and gear). Definitely recommedn staying here!

We found the unit to be super clean, beautifully-made, well-equipped, modern and relaxing. We appreciated how baby friendly it was (playpen, highchair, etc.) and the quick accommodations made! These condos are really close to the store, shops and beach. I also appreciated that both bedrooms have updated TVs, as well as the living area. We had so much fun and can’t wait to book our next stay!

We loved Waikoloa and the condo was perfect for our 10 day vacation! Fit our family of four perfectly and came with everything we needed to enjoy the island! Easy drive to numerous beaches, and walking distance to shaved ice, restaurants, shopping and grocery store! Would definitely stay here again if we get to come back!

Our stay was incredible…everything was so thoughtfully considered in the condo. We had everything we needed! Communication was easy and expedient with our hosts upon check-in (I had missed an email with our login details). The gust book has so many helpful ideas and all the logistics with the home explained.
We loved our time at this location as well. My 15 and 12 year old could walk to the shops or beach on their own — or we would go as a family and grab breakfast or watch the sunset. The beach was beautiful and great for swimming. The lanai was our favorite way to start or end our days as well, light trade winds and gorgeous scenery.
The beds were super comfortable and we appreciated the blanket options. After the first night we realized a lighter blanket would work best vs the thick luxurious comforter and of course in the closet there was a couple of options. Lots of extra pillows too!
The infinity pool was amazing … we were in it nearly every day. Quite large for a condo pool as well. The hot tub was great as well.
The three favorite activities around the island: 4.5 hour snorkel on the Fair Wind 2 (Captain Cook monument), the night Manta snorkel and seeing the volcano erupt!
This was by far the most relaxing vacation we’ve ever had!

Such a lovely condo. My daughter, niece, and I spent our first five nights on the big island here for a Mother’s Day celebration before moving to a resort. I was surprisingly sad to go (though the resort was pretty swanky!). The condo was very clean, decorated beautifully for a bunch of girls and very spacious and comfortable. You can walk to everything you need though I made them drive me due to some recent health issues. Everything was close. Spent a day at Hapuna beach and one at Mauna Kea beach. Used the beach equipment provided and had a great time. The girls cooked fresh fish for dinner a few nights and had all they needed to make a great meal. The other nights we went to Roy’s and lava lava beach club and both were delicious. Ate fresh island fruit and bagels for breakfast. I loved sitting on the patio and listening to/watching the birds and the occasional mongoose. Really a very lovely rental and a fabulous alternative to the more expensive resorts. Beds so comfy! Highly recommend.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hale Nene during our anniversary trip to Hawaii. From the onset, we could not have hoped for a better experience. The owners' communication was top notch, the check-in/out process was super easy and smooth, and the property was absolutely delightful. I highly recommend this property for a stay in the Waikoloa Beach area. It was a much needed juxtaposition from the first part of our trip in Waikiki Beach, Oahu. The location is ideal for relaxation while still being close to amenities. This is saying something as almost everything on the Big Island requires a significant drive. The condo complex is very safe and secure and features fantastic amenities. The beach and shopping centers are very walkable. The view from the lanai overlooks the golf course and the beautifully colorful sunsets, perfect for enjoying breakfast or dinner with a view. The interior styling is fresh and tasteful and we immediately felt home away from home. We would absolutely stay again next time in Hawaii. Mahalo!

The resort was great. Great location for shopping and A-bay. We liked that it was on the ground floor—no stairs! We didn’t use the kitchen so can’t really say how stocked it was but the few things we did use was great. The bath towels were big and soft. We were glad that the place had nice beach chairs which were a plus to use The infinity pool was nice. I loved that most the lights were labeled. The only downside was how soft the primary bed was—my husband has a bad back so that was a little difficult but the twins were firmer so we used those. And that is a personal preference so I wouldn’t give less stars for that—just good to know. I would recommend staying there! It was a great place!!

This condo could quite possibly be the best VRBO we have ever stayed in. From my first communications with Anna and Matt, we felt like guests in their home. There are personal touches throughout the condo and it is stocked with everything we needed. My husband, daughter, and mother came for spring break to escape the cold winter in Alaska. We had everything we needed here and more! The condo was super clean, beds were comfy, and the kitchen was well stocked so we could enjoy family dinners on the lanai while watching the sunset. Even the toiletries smelled amazing - Hawaii in a bottle. The pool is close and has stunning views, and we even took advantage of the grills to cook fresh Mahi Mahi. Our hosts were excellent with communication and checked in to make sure everything was right. I am so grateful for this beautiful property and highly recommended it.

We really loved our stay here. The location is very convenient to a grocery store and restaurants. The condo itself was clean, quiet, comfortable and well stocked. The beds and pillows were great. My wife and I tried VRBO for the first time after learning the rates at the hotel we stayed at our only other time on the Big Island had gone stupid high. We found Anna and Matt’s place on VRBO and really liked the location, the view of the golf course and the space we would have to enjoy. We received lots of communication from our hosts ahead of our arrival and checking in was easy
My wife especially like the decor as it matched her tastes. The bed is comfortable and the towels provided are extra lush! With the twin beds in the second bedroom we could bring friends next time and have lots of space and they could have it made up as a king bed.
We hope we can make it back to Hawaii much sooner next time and will definitely look up Anna and Matt - great hosts! Thank you to them for everything!

This well maintained property is a community of attractive multi level condos with outdoor pool and exercise room centrally located easily from all units. Assigned parking, entry and condo security codes, locked, stocked lanai beach accessory closet, make for a comfortable and secure atmosphere. Lanai on ground floor added vastness view beyond with grassy area and golf course. The melodies and sightings of hundreds of birds always entertained! Kitchen/bathrooms stocked well with basics. Yummy 100% Kona coffee provided! Plentiful sumptuous towels and comprehensive welcome book. W/D was a welcome bonus. Anna&Matt, our hosts, were available quickly for any inquiries. They were able to troubleshoot our A/C unit from afar. We felt they really cared about our concerns, and were so pleasant and helpful. We'd be happy to return to their condo during our next visit to the Big Island!

We really enjoyed our stay at Hale Nene! The room was exactly as described and more. Tastefully decorated with an island theme, it was clean, and well-equipped, and well-furnished. Located centrally in Waikoloa, it has easy access to some shops, beaches, and golf courses.
Owner communication was great, and the directions for check-in and check-out were very clear and easy-to-follow. We enjoyed the recommended local spots as well.

We've rented condos in Fairway Villas probably 10 times in the last 10 years. You condo was by far the best in the building we prefer. I love all the small touches. Well decorated, ceiling fans inside & out, nice bedding and fluffy towels make a great difference. Owners attentiveness was wonderful!

Anna/Matt’s villa was awesome. Just as described in pictures…. Actually even better than the pictures! Our family of four definitely enjoyed our stay at the villa. What the pictures did not tell you was the mattresses and bath towels; both were incredible. Mattress was very comfortable and the bath towels were soft. The room had plenty/abundance of towels (which is extra plus in my book). Can’t be vacationing in Hawaii without extra towels on deck right ? Property also had all the beach equipment needed for small family; four beach chairs, cooler, umbrella and two booogie boards. The property was in very good condition and the decorations / furniture were very well thought out. Glad we had a chance to stay here and will definitely stay again next time I’m back in big island.

We enjoyed our 6 days stay at Anna's and Matt's property conveniently located in the walking distance from a few shopping malls with the market and various restaurants. This spacious clean apartment had everything we needed, bath and beach towels, beach chairs, etc. The kitchen is supplied with pots and pans and cooking utensils, even olive oil and Himalayan pink salt besides Kona coffee. The beach is beautiful and nice for swimming and snorkeling, within 10 minutes walking distance. We would definitely book this property again.

This was our first time in the Big Island and was unfamiliar with the area but eventually decided on this property after looking at several listings. The photos are reflective of the actual property - clean, updated, and comfortable. We didn't need to buy anything other than food as the place had everything provided from beach amenities (boogie boards, umbrellas, snorkel gear, cooler, etc.) to pots/pans, toaster, blender, rice cooker, and coffee maker. We obviously didn't get to use everything the kitchen had but it was all there. The place was quiet and clean and close to the shops. Loved coming back to this place after going to the beach and being out in the sun. Instructions provided were clear and accurate. Had no issues with our stay at all.

The owner of this property really put a lot of thought and effort in their property and hosting. They were extremely quick answering any questions, and very responsive. They welcome book was organized and well designed. The Condo, was in a great location, walking distance to shopping, and food, along with a great view right on a golf course. You could drive to the beach to a large public parking lot, or just walk there as it was so close. We will definitely stay again when we are in Kona.

Great condo with a beach house feel! It was well supplied with everything needed to enjoy the beach (umbrella, chairs, boards, snorkel equipment, beach towels, etc). It’s a great location, close enough to the ocean for short (< 10 mins) morning walks to A Bay. Everything you might need (groceries, shopping, farmers markets) is in walking distance. However, it’s still in a quiet area that is relaxing and doesn’t have the busyness of most resorts. Matt, Anna, and their property management team were easy to communicate with and provided timely updates throughout the rental process (we were notified that a light had burned out prior to arrival and they had it replaced by the following day).

My husband and I were visiting our daughter and son-in-law and wanted a two bedroom condo so they could stay with us part of the time. This was perfect in many ways. The primary ensuite bedroom has a spacious bath with separate tub and shower and a walk-in closet. The guest bedroom and second bath are spacious, too. The kitchen is beautifully organized, and fully stocked with high end appliances, dishes, pots, pans, etc. We cooked many meals there and it was a pleasure. Full size washer and dryer was great for keeping our beach towels and clothes clean. The beds were so comfy and gave us a good night's sleep every night. We liked being on the first floor as the lanai was on level with a grassy area where we enjoyed our morning coffee while watching the birds hop about the grass. It just made the whole outdoor area more spacious. There are two beach chairs, snorkel set, boogie board which we enjoyed on the beach days. There is set of golf clubs as well. There is an abundance of everything here: bath towels, beach towels, TP, dish soap, laundry soap, pillows, games, even two bathrobes for each bedroom. We never had a reason to call the concierge. The instruction binder is organized and answered all our questions. They have several helpful listings of shops and activities. Speaking of shopping. We were able to walk to the Queen's Marketplace and the King's shops for groceries, clothing, great restaurants--we had happy hour at Fosters (get the sauted calamari!); Sensai sushi; and Lava Lava for a birthday sunset dinner right on the beach! Because our daughter lives here, we drove to all of their favorite beaches, but also walking distance from condo is A-Bay... a beautiful beach with shady areas and beautiful white sand, safe waters to swim... just lovely. Another plus is that I believe this condo is newly decorated so everything is new! We loved the colors and materials used to make the place cheerful and beachy. The furniture is high quality and very comfortable. The dining table is a gorgeous live edge wood. The couch and swivel chairs make for a relaxing chill time. There is a TV in each bedroom and in the living room. I have been to vacation rentals where you have to log into your own Netflix or other streaming accounts and remember to log out, but here it is already set and easy to use. We are so happy we found Anna and Matt's place here in Waikoloa and hope to return for our next visit.
