Be aware that there is no A/C, which makes sleeping in the upstairs loft quite warm. Hundreds of tiny bugs would come in through the screens. Other wise, great stay.

Our condo had the best view in the complex! It is well-stocked with everything you could possible need. Being able to take a path down to Hideaways to snorkel and swim is a definite plus to this property. This was our second stay at Pali Ke Kua, and we highly recommend it!

We found this condo to be everything we needed for a perfect 5 night stay. The location offers beautiful views of the coastline and a couple of beaches below. The grounds are lovely, quiet and easy for walking. The condo is thoughtfully equipped with all essentials. We found the bed in the master to be quite soft but it did not keep us from enjoying our stay. We were quite comfortable in the living areas inside and out! Hannalei is a quick drive away. However, Princeville has a shopping area with a great grocery store, a few restaurants, and many conveniences. We were thrilled to snag this rental opportunity for our first visit to Kauai.

My biggest complaint with this place is that it makes you unmotivated to leave and explore the rest of the island, because it is so nice.
Our stay started with a hiccup however, as the unit had not been cleaned, which was unfortunate after a long day of travel. The manager (and owners) quickly responded and apologized for the oversight. They made it right, and the place looked great afterward.
The views are fantastic and the layout is nice. There is no A/C (which would make this place perfect), but there are many fans that kept it tolerable during our warm August visit. Don't forget to utilize the blinds when leaving to keep some heat out.
Be sure to walk down to the Pali Ke Kua beach. We snorkeled with turtles there and it was awesome. We hope to come back some day for a slower paced visit to really unwind. Mahalo!

Lovely, well appointed condo, great location in Princeville. Extraordinary view towards Hanalei bay with the mountains behind, rainbows in the morning and stunning sunsets in the evening. Hideaway Beach and Queens Bath trails are both an easy walk from the condo. Fantastic home base for our incredible first trip to Kauai!

Stunning view and location is really perfect. Spent mornings drinking coffee on the patio watching whales and surfers. Well equipped for cooking and enjoying time in the condo. Super clean and stocked with everything you need to enjoy the beach and sun in Hawaii. We will be back for sure!!!!

We were very happy with the unit. The view is beyond compare. There was lots of music, movies, books, expecially history of the island. We arrived Thanksgiving day with no restaurants available to us, so be sure to stop at the groceries before you check in. The owners were very responsive and answered any questions. There were boogie boards, snorkle masks and fins, beach chairs, etc. Very well equipped . Hideaways beach is a steep and magical walk down to the beach from the unit, very private. It was a magical stay, thank you! Only issue is that VRBO has hidden fees when you are booking.

The condo was perfect for our family of three, and we had all the comforts of home. The location was fantastic. Stunning ocean views, sunsets every night, short walk to a charming beach, quick drive into Hanalei town and to the bay. Can’t wait to visit again.

What a perfect location on the north side of the island. We enjoyed the sunset views from the lanai every night. The condo was easily accessible and stocked with everything we needed. Having a washer/dryer was a huge plus! We are already planning the next trip back!

We had everything we needed at this beautiful condo in Princeville. From beach chairs, snorkel equipment, beach umbrella, boogie boards...it's all there! The sunsets couldn't be beat...absolutely stunning and you can enjoy it on your very own private balcony! Everything was clean and communication was great! The walk down to the beach was amazing and very peaceful. I will definitely stay here again when we come back...maybe we'll bring the kids next time;)

I don’t think a better view of Hanalei bay exists from Princeville. Condo was well equipped and updated. Sleeps three sets of people. Fold out couch in living has the best view.
Kitchen was perfect.
Definitely will stay here again.

Not only does this condo have perhaps the best view of the ENTIRE Princeville area, it is also incredibly well stocked. I probably sound like a marketing shill but seriously, just a dad in a family of 4 who found all the utensils, beach gear, snorkeling and boogie boards, umbrellas in perfect order. We cannot recommend this place highly enough.

We have stayed in many other units of Pali Ke Kua over the years but this unit is
the best in so many ways. The view is terrific, the unit takes advantage of the trade winds. The furniture is very comfortable, the kitchen lovely with excellent, new appliances. This was our first time in Kauai & we loved the sunset views from the lanai. I'd have a hard time believing there is a better view over the ocean coast. You're in close proximity to good food, beaches & attractions. The condo was in great condition & fully stocked with everything you need on your vacation.
Angela was great to work with and she went above & beyond to make sure our stay was perfect.
If this condo is available on our next trip, I know there is no need to look elsewhere.

My husband and I stayed here for our first visit to Kauai as we also celebrated our fifth year wedding anniversary. Angela’s condo was absolutely perfect for our stay. The views are so beautiful with such a peaceful surrounding. We loved our stay - it was so special to us. We even saw turtles out swimming! Thank you for being such a warm host to us. We loved our stay and will definitely be back in the future.

The view from the lanai is absolutely magnificent. That really can not be overstated.
The condo is clean and attractive and has everything. I really appreciated how well stocked it was. Great supplies for cooking and going to the beach.
If you're someone who loves air conditioning and uses it at every opportunity, you might miss the lack of air conditioning in the summer. It got a little warm at times, but it wasn't a problem for us. There are several good ceiling fans and some floor fans (those we didn't even bother with because we didn't feel the need).
The facility itself is nice/well-maintained. Not the four seasons - but quite good.
There is a walk down to a great beach. Ask around where the concrete path is down to the beach. It's on the property of the condo complex. There is another steep path that's outside the condo complex and people who tried that said "Seriously, it's very hard, and you'll be covered with mud if you try to use it". The concrete path (it's concrete until you get close and then it's just a natural path) is somewhat steep, but in no way dangerous. We saw several sea turtles and a big variety of fish snorkeling from that beach. It's hard to get to so it's never very crowded.
The communication with the owner was easy. She was helpful and responded quickly.
Note: While we were there the road between Princeville and Hanalei was only open certain hours. This is probably going to last a while. Most of the day it's closed. Google Hawaii road closures to find out the times that it's open. And be prepared to wait in a very long line of cars to get in or out except at night and Sunday(?) However, it's still worth it.
Overall, fabulous place. We're thrilled that we found it.

This was a beautiful place to stay. The pictures are entirely accurate. The place has everything you could ever want, from pool and beach gear, to a fully stocked kitchen. The fridge was not working while we were there, but the owner contacted us ahead and made sure there was a small fridge and ice chest. The replacement fridge was half size and perfectly adequate. The property was lovely and my 68 year old mother and 11 year old daughter were both completely comfortable. My daughter loved sleeping in the loft bedroom. The apartment was very comfortable temperature wise, with windows and ceiling fans.

The views here simply can’t be beat. Sitting on the lanai taking the views in was one of our favorite things. The condo was clean and beautiful. It was well stocked with everything you could need from kitchen items to coolers and even a hat and books. The property is beautiful and the beach access is great.
