This would’ve been a great place to spend more time. The view of the Hana Bay to be able to walk near the water. The bed was very comfortable and I liked the style of it. We would stay here again if we come back to Hana.

Weather was too nasty to go out and enjoy the beach so we stayed in. We were grateful for how nice the apartment was and the added bonus of board games (although updating the games would be nice). We enjoyed take out in the deck and watched the surf crash the shores. We would stay there again.

The location cannot be beat. What a beautiful property on the beach. It was so quiet and you could hear the waves and see the stars. The actual unit was a bit dated but fun and homey all the same.

I have been to Hawaii four times and stayed in 5 different condos. I think this was the nicest condo I have every stayed in on Hawaii. Great views is the Hana Bay, clean and modern condo, everything opened up with great air flow. Super clean and nice. The people at the condo were super nice and helpful, checkin was a breeze and no massive list of do all the cleaning on checkout. It was so easy. I would rebook this exact unit again if I ever stay in Hana again!

The unit we stayed in was a corner unit with a gorgeous view. I would have been happy to live on the lanai! The condo would be perfect for a couple, but with 2 teenagers on the pull out couch and the bathroom off the bedroom it got a bit tight. I would definitely go back with my husband and leave the kids at home. Amazing area to explore, so beautiful, but definitely bring food with you as food trucks have unreliable hrs.

Overall the place is amazing. The only problem I ran into was the fridge wasn’t working so else had a smaller one out on the Lanai, I wish they had told me. It would be nice if they had some storage containers as well. But again let me reiterate the place is amazing.

Enjoyed the relaxing view from the back porch. Check in after hours was easy using provided directions. Didn't use the kitchen as we ate at Hana Ranch Restaurant and the food trucks (in Hana and the Hana Farms Roadside Stand for pizza).

After spending the day driving the road to Hana, we enjoyed sitting on the balcony enjoying the view and watching the whales in the distance. The property was beautiful and the view of the ocean was incredible!

It only do you have a front row seat to watch the sunrise over Hana Bay, but the ambiance is set by the waves pounding over the black cobble beach and washing right up to your feet.
Hana Kai is an treasure buried in the jungle that you want to keep hidden from the world and all to yourself. However, that wouldn’t be good for business or Hana’s economy. So, at the risk of having to fight for a room h my next trip back, I will tell you right now… get out here and explore all that the road to Hana and and this gem that is Hana Kai has to offer and before their amazing beach is overrun with sunrise enthusiasts (yes, myself included).

Great ocean view and nearby multiple beaches. The town is small, but the food trucks were great. On the road to Hana, we discovered a fantastic fruit stand/working farm further (south)west from Hana. Condo was great for 2 and could easily fit 3 adults. The balcony and open space to the kitchen made for a fantastic sunrise. FYI, no a/c which was fine for us in the off season of October. FYI, there is a washer/dryer at the check in office not in every condo, once again fine for the one load we did, but maybe not for a whole family. A fantastic condo for 1 night or multiple nights!

Property and room were as advertised and expected, but the additional amenities were just perfect. I was worried it would be too warm when there were fans for the sleeping areas, but it was comfortable and cool all night, even with the bedroom “closed off”. The black sand beach was beyond expectations, with the sound of the waves over the rocks easing me into sleep. Aah, perfect.

Our original plan to stay overnight in Hana was to rent one of the cabins at the state park but after playing the online lottery click game at 3am we lost so I found this place on Vrbo and I am so glad it worked out this way. We had the top corner suite (201) with the BEST view. This place is a gem and hope to be back again.

Beautiful property right on a secluded beach. It was amazing hearing the waves crashing all night long. Th property even had family games available in the room for an awesome family time. Beautiful lanai off each room overlooking the ocean made for a great morning view while having coffee.

Absolutely no WiFi despite asking the indifferent managers on duty three times. When a property charges upwards of $450 a night this is deplorable
Equally awful was the dated bathroom and furniture. God forbid you sit on any of the chairs or sofa/ the cushions unexpectedly sink down to the a level that shows there is zero foam left.
