Property was clean when we arrived. Pool was also good as well as location to great beaches (Maluaka beach is where we tended to go). Thankful to have rice cooker and large kitchen items to cook for family. Host was very accommodating as we booked extra night due to uncertainty with the fires and flights out being potentially delayed.

Property was clean and spacious with all appliances working well. We loved that all rooms had AC. The only downside was the beach was not close. The hot water was not enough for family off four to shower.

We are a family of 5 with two 13 year olds and one 12 year old. This was a great pick for us!! The condo was very clean and smelled amazing when we first walked in with Hawaiian music playing the background. The furniture had been updated and the AC worked great. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you need, we used it everyday.
The location was our favorite, so easy to get to from neighboring beaches, shopping and dinning.
We were so happy with our stay and would definitely stay at the condo again!

We stayed 12 nights so had time to fully explore the area. Condo location was good, right across from pool, about a half a mile from the beautiful beach path along 4 different beaches which we ran every morning. Only complaint was lack of beach towels. They will only give you one per person so you basically have to launder them twice a day if you want to go to the beach and the pool. We asked for more, were told no (and they’re not super nice towels, don’t match, $10 at Costco so no idea why they cheap out on towels???). Also no boogie boards or sand toys just FYI. The main sliding glass door is REALLY hard to open, prob needs to be fixed, but patio space was enjoyable and quiet. I’d stay at this complex again, just pick a unit with a different property manager.

My husband and I and our daughter and family had a special stay.
The large master bedroom had enough room for two pack and plays. The living room area was spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen had all we needed. The lanai was lovely and we were just across from the pool (down stairs to the pool.) A ledge around the pool where the water is about
1 1/2’ deep was perfect for our two year old grandson. A sort of baby pool. The grounds west of the pool are gorgeous and a perfect place to view the sunset. I

Overall my family and I enjoyed our stay! The unit was spacious, clean, and well decorated. We liked that there was a grill right on the lanai, beach chairs, and beach toys. And the location is just a few mins from the shops at Wailea, all our favorite beaches, and restaurants.
There are a few things to consider if you're like us and traveling with a toddler: The light switches and door knobs are very low, making it hard to keep our toddler from playing with/opening them. Things like high chairs, cribs, pack and plays, etc. are available for rent.
However, the biggest thing for us was insects. We were very diligent about keeping the unit crumb free as the signs in the kitchen warned about attracting pests. We stored our food waste in a container in the fridge, emptied the trash daily, wiped down the high chair after every meal, swept up all our kiddos crumbs, etc. It ended up being quite a bit of work to do on vacation - toddlers are messy eaters! But we still found spiders hiding under baskets, plates, and bowls. We had ants on the counter one night and a roach under the sink a different night. The extra cleaning is something to think about if you have messy kids or are planning to do a lot of cooking/eating in.

We enjoyed this unit. We were a little leery of the location since it was between parking lots within the complex but the unit was quiet. The condo has air conditioning throughout and unlike other condos we have stayed at in the complex the second room has actual walls not just shoji doors which is a big positive. There were 6 beach chairs but no umbrella, which would have been nice.

This was my and my kids second visit to Maui and my husband’s first. The unit was extremely clean and just across the parking lot from the pool. The host was very responsive and was able to accommodate a later checkout for us as our flight was in the evening. The unit provides just enough amenities as they clean thoroughly (i.e., don’t assume there will be anything left from previous renters like cooking oil or seasonings, although there were coffee filters (yes!)…enjoyed our accommodations!

Location is amazing and neighborhood was very quaint and quiet. Everything was equipped well for use. The AC units for each room were new and worked well. My only complaints would be that the condo was a bit outdated and worn. One of the bedrooms smelled musty, the washer unit also smelled and the carpet was dirty. The blinds are aesthetically nice but did nothing to actually cover (at night when you have the lights on inside, people can still see right through the blinds).

First time staying at The Palms, very nice property, well maintained grounds. The property manager was responsive on a few items that needed attention during our stay which was appreciated. The condo was spacious, allowing everyone plenty of room. We found the unit clean and nicely stocked with essentials and small appliances upon arrival. Master bed was comfortable and the furniture was all in good shape not showing wear. You cannot go wrong with this location, numerous uncrowned beaches within walking distance or a short drive. Would recommend this property to anyone not needing a beachfront location.

Our experience at this property was amazing. The place was clean when we checked in and had everything we needed. Krista, the host, was so great to correspond with. Very responsive and accommodating. Our flight out of Maui was quite late on the day of check out, and Krista graciously extended our checkout time without question. It was really appreciated especially with young kids. We will definitely be booking the same place again in the future if we ever go back to Maui. Highly recommend it!!

The condo is very nice. Close to the pool and beautiful surroundings. Kitchen fully equipped. It's pretty much what the pictures show!
Furniture is old fashioned and an update would add a lot!
Check in is too late and I wish they offered stuff like crib, high chair, beach umbrella, cooler, etc for free. We had to rent or buy all of these things.
Overall we had a great experience and would come here again!

Spacious, very clean, modern style. Location is convenient to the condo of the rest of the family. Didn't use the pool or walk to the beach from the unit. Close to The Shops at Wailea and Kihei restaurants and shops. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our large ground floor unit. We used the lanai a lot and the unit was steps to the pool. Kids loved the pool and the grounds were beautiful. Easy 10mins walk to the beach and 15-20mins walk to Shops of Wailea and fancy hotels. Neighbourhood is gorgeous. Will definitely be back.

We rented this unit and one additional condo in the property for a family trip and had a magical time. The grounds are beautiful and location is perfect. Unit was clean, up to date and had all the amenities we need for a great week on the island. Would recommend and hope to return sometime in the near future.
