The Kahana Sunset sits on Keonenui Bay and feels as though it has its own private beach. Conveniently located minutes from world-renowned golf courses at Kapalua and Kaanapali, and steps from shops, markets and restaurants in Napili, this property is also just a few miles away from the excitement of Kaanapali Resort. This unit proudly features:

• 1 BD / 1BA (king- master and living room sofa sleeper)

• Spacious with 700 sq.ft of living space
• One level (must use stairs to access front door)

The unit has replaced the following items in 2022: sofa sleeper, new bed, curtains, sofa and a few other furniture pieces. Your condominium will be supplied with beach towels. It will not however be stocked with beach equipment. Too often items break or go missing and it is not feasible to track and replace the items. Sullivan Properties, Inc firmly believes in recycling & lowering the carbon footprint we leave on this planet! If items are purchased or acquired by guests and are still in good condition, we are happy to leave them in the unit for others to enjoy. If they are extremely dirty or broken, we must toss them out. There are places nearby that rent beach amenities – your property might also have an onsite rental shack. Most of the rental places nearby offer daily or weekly rates. Please note, we are not endorsing these companies simply providing the more popular options in the area : Snorkel Bobs in the Kahana Gateway Center, Boss Frogs in the Napili Plaza and Boss Frogs in Kahana Manor. Maui on the Fly for baby equipment rentals – this includes baby beach toys and other beach necessities for children. For more details and information check them out on the web!

Plenty of fine dining and family-friendly restaurants are within a mile of Kahana Sunset. If you prefer a stay-at-home meal, BBQ right on onsite or enjoy our fully-equipped kitchen with all the amenities right at your fingertips. For convenience, there is a Napili Market, a grocery store that is about ¼ mile away. Also located at the Napili Plaza are retail shops and a few eateries including Mama’s Ribs &Rotisserie, A’a Roots, Joey’s, Fond a Neighborhood Eatery and Maui Tacos. Kitchen 5315 and the Gazebo restaurant are located at the Napili Shores resort. Just on the opposite side of Napili Bay enjoy the Seahouse restaurant which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It also has a great Happy Hour with both food and drink specials!

Kapalua’s beauty can be enjoyed through hikes, restaurants and gorgeous beaches. The hiking trails at Kapalua range from easy to extremely difficult! Enjoy the ease of the Kapalua Coastal Trail, the Village Trails or the very difficult Mahana Ridge Trail.

We’ve been coming to Maui for several years for my daughters Fall Break and this year was our very favorite! My family and I thought this condo was Amazing! It was beautiful, we’ll decorated, clean and in the perfect location. We saw sea turtles every single day and the private beach was amazing! We came home and immediately booked this room for next falls trip! Thank you so much for a beautiful week!

Kari is five+ stars in my book, and I have passed her name along to over a dozen times to potential guests. Our stay from May 5 to May 22 of 2022 once again was great. If we have had any issues with our accommodations at KAHANA KAHANA SUNSET, Sullivan properties, Kari, Kelly, Steve and the entire staff have taken care of them with efficiency and professionalism.Thank you for the wonderful service and I will continue to pass along Sullivan properties – might go to contact for any accommodations in MauiJeff Jensen B5B

Great quiet bay to swim and play in. A couple groups of screaming kids having fun. A bit disappointing since we are empty nesters. But generally a very enjoyable stay. Great property and well maintained.

Unit is recently remodeled and very clean. One of the a/c units quit working but the repair people were out promply to fix it. I was so impressed with how beautiful the grounds and pool were. Kahana Sunset is a great location away from the big resorts but close enough to visit Kaanapali or Lahaina with just a short drive. All in all it couldn't have been a better dream Maui vacation. I would highly recommend staying here and plan to again.

Two comments: the lanai furniture was filthy and the light was burned out. I called Sullivan Properties to change the light bulb but no one ever came. Accordingly, I could not enjoy dinner on my lanai. Also the bed and linens were old and very uncomfortable. If new linens were provided, it would help. T=

Its has been my family's Maui vacation home for a long time. It's comforting to know that Kari has always been there in case there were any issue. We caught whales in the distance and routinely saw sea turtles in the water. Sunsets were amazing! The pool was well maintained and there is an abundance of loungers and beach chairs available. Our condo met all our expectations and included all the basic and even more than anticipated necessities. We unfortunately left items in the condo and they have been exceptional to work with getting them back. The customer service/communication is also highly rated.We visited many sites that were amazing (Kapalua Coastal Trail; downtown Lahaina; Honolau Bay; Nakalele Blowhole; Iao State Monument and Ho'okipa lookout). The Plantation House was great for breakfast and we were able to see some of the set up for the Sentry Tournament. We were lucky to get reservations at Mama's Fish House, which was also exceptional, as was Kimo's in Lahaina. Our favorite spot, which we hit up several times was Island Cream Company - YUMMY! We also visited the Honolua United Methodist church, which was welcoming and inclusive. Overall a fabulous trip!

This is a great place away from the high-rises and crowds of Maui… The grounds and pool are lovely with its own private beach and killer sunsets… This is great for a couples ,families, and anyone Who wants a smaller condo complex… The unit was updated had a great view of the water and I look forward to coming back here again.

We have stayed at this property quite a few times and we have stayed in this unit twice now. B5B is updated and the location is perfect. The bed is decently comfortable in comparison to some other units as well. Sullivan Properties are very easy to communicate with if you need anything.

My husband and I stayed in this location for 6 nights during our honeymoon and very much enjoyed our stay. The location of this unit and the Kahana Sunset property is stunning. The unit itself was fine and matched the online description. It wasn't spotlessly clean when we arrived, the linens on the bed seemed old and we'll use and the same goes for the couch pillows/ cushions. Not a huge deal but we didn't feel comfortable resing our faces on the couch and stripped the comforter & pillows on the bed. There was an issue with the fan/light in the bedroom but they were responsive and had someone take a look at it while we were there. The kitchen was newly remodeled and we enjoyed cooking meals with the provided kitchenware. We're easygoing so the things listed above weren't a huge deal and we would stay there again!
