The place was walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants. This condo was renovated so it was modern, kitchen had everything and very clean. Parking was very convenient, just go to the upper floors because it is so tough to park in the crowded bottom floors. We rented a car and explored Oahu beaches. The condo was large enough for 4 people, with large eating counter space. The only inconvenience we had was doing laundry. There is one shared per floor so we had to go through 5 floors looking for an open one. (...wish it didn't rain and wind for 4 out of 7 days though.)

Generally, the two of us enjoyed our stay in this condo: The kitchen was modern and worked fine...view was stunning...lots of extra beach gear...convenient location...and the price reasonable. A few minor complaints: The mattresses are very soft...basically shot. The floor needs to be wet-mopped between guests...the shower walls need to be scrubbed.

Prior to the remodel, I wonder if there was flood damage or a cat that lived in the apartment because there is a pungent smell that would not dissipate despite keeping all doors & windows open for circulation or spraying air fresheners. It seemed to be coming from the area rug near the couch. There are no blackout curtains meaning anyone sleeping on the pullout is subject to light pollution at night & an early, but beautiful sunrise. Blackout shades would be a great addition.
The air conditioner works fine but only cools the main room. A standing, oscillating fan would be a relief in the bedroom since the air conditioner doesn’t cool the whole unit.
A safety concern for us was that the door does not latch properly & you must manually make sure the door knob turns so that the door will actually shut. We travel to Honolulu twice a year for our daughter's college at UoH. We always stay at the Waikiki Banyon because of it's location and convenient parking which is a plus. Shops are nearby and just two blocks to the beach. We have tried different condos in this facility and by far this one is the best. It has everything you need and we felt very at home here. They were very accommodating and response time was fast.

Very easy to check in and out of property with easy communication. Ideal location and enjoyed eating breakfast on the lania facing the beautiful views of Diamond head. Very clean with wonderful amenities including beach chairs, umbrellas and a little cart. Air conditioner is noisy but not louder than other property in the same building we stayed in the past.

The room is in a great location in Waikiki. Very short walk to the beach and amenities. The parking situation was confusing but free parking was awesome. The tub and a few dishes were a bit dirty upon arrival. The amount of items included in the room for use was good. Nice view from the balcony. Very good a/c!

This property was perfectly situated for our vacation! Just off the beach - close enough, but not right in the hustle and bustle. It was walking distance to the zoo (a highlight for our son), shops and restaurants, the beach with a breakwater, and easy access to main roads for our driving excursions. And the view of Diamond Head and the ocean were spectacular every day!
The condo was well appointed with everything needed to enjoy the area, including 3 beach chairs and umbrella, beach towels, picnic basket and cooler, basketball and tennis equipment, and yoga mats! The pool was great as alternative to the ocean.
We loved having the kitchen to prep breakfasts and easy meals at the end of long days.
Overall, we loved our time here and would definitely stay again!

Great place from ease of check in and clear communication to the wonderful welcome when we arrived- fantastic rental! We stayed for a week and absolutely loved the location- right in the heart of Waikiki- close to shops restaurants the zoo - beautiful sunsets! Super comfortable beds as well. Exactly as pictured and described. Hope to return one day and would stay here again!!

Pros: Great location, stunning view, extremely well-equipped kitchen and condo. Comfy beds. Boogy boards, umbrellas, and beach chairs were a nice touch.
To Consider: bring earplugs if the sound of A/C, loud wind, or occasional sirens wakes you up.
Kids commented on the “uncomfortable couch” (though also saying they slept well).
Bottom line: we’d be happy to go back and would also recommend to others

This rental property was everything as promised! Clean, close to the beach and many other destinations such as the Waikiki aquarium and restaurants, wifi/playstation/TV streaming all worked well and were great to have after busy days exploring. This condo is nicely updated and in a very central location. It was clean and well stocked. The building is quiet and despite being on the 36th floor the elevators were fast and available. We loved the location and the view of Diamond Head was amazing. There was ample parking available onsite. It was great that they had beach chairs, beach umbrella, boogie boards, basketball, football, tennis rackets available for use as well. We also appreciated the beach towels. The only frustrating part was the check-in process and where to go for parking. Otherwise this was an excellent property once we figured out where we were supposed to go when we go there!

The unit was exactly as described, the property manager was excellent, the unit had everything we needed plus a few extras that weren't listed such as salt and pepper, plastic wrap, laundry detergent - presumably from previous renters but nice anyway. We spent a lot of time on the balcony enjoying the view. The unit was refurbished at some point in the past, showing a bit of wear but only cosmetic details that did not bother us at all but may bother some pickier renters. The AC was a bit noisy but that was expected. We tried sleeping with the door open one night to reduce the noise which was nice, but had a visitor pigeon in the AM checking out our kitchen lol. Another night the alarm went off and we started evacuating, we got down to the 5th floor before we ran into a jam but were soon told we could return to our rooms. We hadn't really considered that when choosing a high room, in a real emergency it's a looooong way down. Regarding the building, yes it's a bit dated and there was a problem with one of the spas while we were there for one of the days but the building still had everything we needed and more. The common area had a number of bbq's that cost $2 in quarters for use. There were a lot of security guards which is a plus, however I felt that sometimes they were a bit rigid with the rules at the pool (ie telling another group their water bottles couldn't be within about 10 ft of the edge of the pool, and another time they told a little boy he couldn't throw the ball with his dad in the pool). But still very friendly to everyone. We did not check out the little store downstairs but we did get a coffee from the coffee shop one morning. We didn't see any pastries as the glass case was covered so cannot comment on the food available. The parking garage is very tight as someone previously mentioned, so rent a small car! Or better yet just walk, everything you need is close. We are very happy with our stay and will definitely stay again.

This unit was 100% accurately described. Apparently recently updated. All furnishings were first class, appliances new and beds were comfortable. The location is very convenient to the beach, bus stops and dining, with many convenience stores nearby. I would recommend this unit for a couple or small family. As returning guests of Captain Cook Vacations and the Waikiki Banyan, we knew the layout of the building, parking, etc, but would suggest a better orientation from Capt Cook for first time guests rather than the "no contact" approach due to COVID restrictions. The location is very convenient to the beach, bus stops and dining, with many convenience stores nearby. I would recommend this unit for a couple or small family. As returning guests of Captain Cook Vacations and the Waikiki Banyan, we knew the layout of the building, parking, etc, but would suggest a better orientation from Capt Cook for first time guests rather than the "no contact" approach due to COVID restrictions. Overall the stay in this condo was great. The space was perfect for a party of 5 and even up to 6. The view was perfect on the 36th floor of Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach. Like others that stayed here, we walked majority of the time in the area, no more than .5 miles to restaurants and shops. The mini market available to the condo was a life saver too. The ease of getting in and out of the condo when we drove to the east of the island and North Shore was very easy.
Of all the condos we've stayed in, this one was the best when it came to being fully furnished. We made breakfast and lunch some days which the kitchen didn't lack any tools to use.
The unit was quiet and very clean! We would stay here again.
Only down side of our stay is that the building overall is older and needs a little bit of touch up. The hallway to our unit was a bit dark.
Again... great place to stay in Waikiki. Thank you for the space! We'll be back.

We loved staying here. Very short walk to Waikiki Beach. Having a parking pass was wonderfully easy. The space worked perfectly for us - plus an amazing view! Check-in was incredibly easy, and the property manager was only a call away. Could not ask for more, to be honest

Overall this unit was great. We loved the location, the updated unit, the pool and all the finishing touches that the owner has used. Our only issue is that the pull out bed on the couch was very difficult to use and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned.

The location was ideal, walking distance to beach strip, shopping, restaurants. The parking garage had no additional fees and always found parking easily. Very clean updated room with great views and very well equipped. The owner even had welcome goodies upon arrival for us. Thank you for the great experience!

We had a good time in this condo. It’s spacious enough and has everything you need in the kitchen to cook your own food.The only negative point was the AC, which is quite noisy since each unit has its own AC unit in the living room. Airflow was also low, so it takes a while to cool down. But that’s how nearly all condos/rooms in Waikiki have AC installed, so not gonna count it against this great spot.The condo also had TV, PS4, Amazon Prime, Netflix, boogie boards, beach towels, tons of pillows, yoga mat, etc. It was great. Wife and kids were very happy with it.

Great location! The unit was as described - updated and clean with a great view! My family of four had a great time and could walk to the beach and the area’s many stores and restaurants! Wi-Fi was great and the self parking was a plus in and out as you please)

The location was fantastic to spend time on Waikiki or drive to other beaches. Everything was exactly as described. The free parking was a huge plus. My son lest his wallet and they were so kind to mail it to us quickly! Was very quick to reply when we had a question. We hope to return sometime in the future. We absolutely enjoyed our stay there.

Our stay in the condo at Waikiki was amazing. The location was located blocks from the beach. We walked to Diamond Head, up to the lookout and back. The drive to Pearl Harbor was easy.i would recommend this location and specific condo.
