Place is located comfortably close to the Hilton resort, the markets, and Waikoloa Beach.
Aside from a minor light fixture issue and rather dirty floors, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

We had the best stay at Shawn’s place. Even though it’s an older place it was beautiful and clean. Even my grandmother would have approved. The kitchen was well appointed and beds were comfortable. Shawn also gave us some great pointers on places to visit including the Lava Lava Beach Club for dinner. Thanks again!!

We selected this property after reviewing the location, rates, amenities, and photos of this and other properties. We were completely satisfied with our decision as everything was to our expectation. We were fortunate to have had the perfect weather and access to the pool, shopping complex and restaurants located within walking distance. What made our stay more enjoyable was the property owners hospitality. They were easy to work with and were quick to respond when we contacted them. I would definitely recommend staying at this unit when in Waikoloa. Mahalo Shawn!

We really enjoyed our stay in this wonderful place. This location is perfect - there is so much to do in and around Waikoloa. We could walk to nearby restaurants (Tropics Tap House is within walking distance and has great food & drinks), several resorts (day pass at the Hilton is highly recommended as if the Luau at the Marriott), shopping and groceries. This clean and quiet condo has all the amenities that made for a comfortable stay. We all enjoyed the pool and eating on the lanai. Dennis made sure that we were able to get into the place when we arrived, which was a nice touch (his directions were clear and we had no problems getting in). Highly recommended for a fun and relaxing vacation on the Big Island.

We enjoyed 12 nights at this property which is close to the beach, shopping and restaurants/clubs. The property is beautifully appointed with views of the golf course and walking paths. We used the pool area area a lot.

Couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more. Check in and check out were super easy. We barely needed a rental car. Everything is a 10 minute walk. Beach, restaurants, Starbucks, etc. Rented paddle boards kayaks cabanas at the beach. Unit had umbrella, beach chairs body boards and a cooler. Nice breezes keep the air fresh overnight. Couldn’t really ask for more.

Our family stayed at this condo rental for 2 weeks over the Easter Break.
It was clean, organized and very quiet. I am sure that we were the noisy ones since we were travelling with 4 kids! The Vista Waikoloa property is well maintained and very quiet. Our unit had a great golf course mountain view. We enjoyed being a short walk to Kings & Queens shops. We appreciated the updated bathrooms & kitchen and the laundry. Boogey Boards beach chairs, toys and towels were a welcome bonus! The pool was great and we enjoyed having numerous dips under the stars before bedtime.
Dennis and Marci were great to deal with, very hands on.
We feel we got good value for our money and we will definitely return.

We just finished a fantastic week stay at the Vista Waikoloa condo. The condo is fully equipped, super clean, comfortable, and felt like home away from home in Hawaii. We really appreciated the small cooler for our use on day trips around the island. The condo is in a very nice location. It is next to some big resorts and shops, but still feels very quaint.
The unit is an end unit on the golf course. It was quiet most of the time but for some reason they choose to mow the golf course daily around 6:30am or so. Little annoying, but definitely wouldn't stop me from staying there again. Nice gym and pool facilities if you choose to use them, as well as a big barbecue area. There is also a grocery store a couple minutes drive away, but it was ridiculously overpriced. I'd recommend major shopping be done in Kona or at Costco and grab little items at the local store.

This was a repeat stay for us, since we had such a good experience here on our previous visit. Dennis and Cheryl are easy to work with, and are always prompt and straightforward. The condo is in very good condition, and we'll supplied. We appreciated having a good kitchen since we rarely went out to eat, as well as the beach chairs that we took with us on outings. Vista Waikoloa has a nice swimming pool and gas barbecue area, which we usually had to ourselves. The beach nearby is beautiful. I have seen sea turtles, moray eels, and other marine life there. Many other beaches are within a short drive away. We hope to stay here for our next visit. Mahalo!

This was our first trip to Big Island with our two and half year old toddler, and we decided to stay at a condo. It was a very good decision. This was also our first time using VRBO and we were very glad to have found this condo. My first impression when contacting Dennis and Cheryl was excellent. I have very high standards, and I like transparency and responsiveness when dealing with a business. Dennis and Cheryl were not only super responsive, professional, and courteous, but they were also very pleasant to speak with and they happily replied to all my inquiries. You can tell they're pros at this, and that was very reassuring. When we arrived at the condo we were pleasantly surprised by the space. It's breezy, spacious, full of light, and kitchen and bathrooms are fully renovated. It was exactly what we were looking for. It was also quiet and we never heard anyone during our entire stay, which is something you really appreciate when you travel with a toddler who needs naps and goes to bed early. We loved being able to have breakfast in the lanai. Maintenance did mow the lawn early in the morning on some days, so just bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. I was never disturbed once I put in the ear plugs. The parking space is right below the condo, so it's very convenient. You can walk everywhere you need to, so you can ditch the car some days. Also, the pool is great for those days you don't want to drive to the beach. Finally, Dennis and Cheryl have equipped an outside closet with every beach toy and item you can imagine, so you don't have to buy anything. It's all there for you to use. We had a wonderful time exploring the Big Island, enjoying the great food, sleeping in some days, wonderful Hapuna Beach, and a long etc., and we can't wait to go back. Bonus -- the large palm tree plant near the parking space has geckos living in it, which is awesome! :-)

Dennis & Cheryl truly helped make this trip happen for us! We were flying standby and they were so helpful and accommodating with our awkward travel situation. Would we even make it? How many nights? We didn't know until last minute but since the condo happened to still be available (happy dance) they worked with our crazy situation and made us feel welcome!
The location is great, the condo is beautiful and comfortable, the lanaii's are large and perfect for dining or relaxing. Our son loved the pool too even after all day at the beaches or on excursions. Beach toys, chairs, boogie boards in the closet and all you need in the kitchen. We loved our stay here!!! First trip to the Big Island, and it was FaNtAsTiC!! My husband and I came out for a little work and brought the 3 kids (ages 8, 11, 15) for a lot of play! Finding Dennis & Cheryl was a Godsend! They were very accommodating and easy to work with. What a surprise it was to come to the condo and see the great renovations. We hear new photos are coming soon :) My biggest worry about traveling is that I have a bad back, and the bed is REALLY important to me. No worries here. The master bed was heavenly - thank you!!!! My second concern is the kitchen. I like to cook instead of always going out to eat. The spacious kitchen was very well stocked with every pot, pan, and utensil we needed. They even had a cooler for us to take to the beach! With five of us in the condo, I was worried about us being cramped, but this condo is very roomy. You can always find your own space to read, watch TV, enjoy the beautiful large lanai, etc. The master bedroom feels like its own mini getaway with a very spacious bedroom, reading nook, large, remodeled bathroom, and private access to the secluded lanai overlooking the golf course. Our favorite thing to do each day was pack the cooler and head to the private beach club, layout, read, eat our snacks, snorkel in the perfect little lagoon for HOURS, watch the amazing sunset, return to the condo's pool to wash off the sand and soak in the hot tub, then head home for dinner on the lanai and a movie in the comfy oversized living room chairs (I want those chairs!!!) We often spent the night strolling through the nearby shopping centers (Kings Shops or Queen's Shops) that were decorated for the holidays. Great stores and fun outdoor entertainment -- something for everyone! Thank you, Dennis & Cheryl. We are coming back again next year -- save us a week!!!

This was our 3rd trip to the Big Island and have stayed in two different units that belong to Dennis & Cheryl. The renovations & updating at the Vista Waikoloa unit are a must see. (Pictures on line are not updated yet.) The living area of this unit is very spacious and the new kitchen appliances, counter tops in both bathrooms & kitchen and paint throughout really give the condo an elegant look. The spacious wraparound lanai is the perfect spot for your morning coffee or a relaxing dinner. Location of condo is perfect along with the beautifully well kept grounds and pool/hot tub area. Be sure and ask Dennis and Cheryl if there's anything you need or questions about the area, they are so accommodating! We will be returning!

We visited the big Island in early September with our almost two year old grand daughter. The condo was wonderful, great location, nicely remodeled. Pictures of the unit were before the remodeling, so we were pleasantly surprised with the updated bathrooms, tiling, etc. Unit is lovely. Very conveniently located, close to shopping and restaurants. We took our grand daughter for a walk every morning, saw the dolphins at the Hilton and took her Koi feeding at the Queens Market place a few times. She had a great time. Definitely recommend to friends and family. Dennis and Cheryl are great owners and very helpful. Will surely return.

After attending a wedding on Oahu, my wife and I spent a few nights at Dennis and Cheryl's Vista Waikoloa condo. If you want warm and sunny, this location is gorgeous. Fly into KOA, stop at Costco for groceries (a few miles south of the airport), then head back north across a moonscape of lava fields to find oasis after oasis of immaculate resort complexes. Weather here is clear, warm, sunny, and outside the southwestern areas of the island that are susceptible to vog.
The unit is well-appointed, nicely furnished, very clean and relaxing. Elevator and reserved parking space are right outside. The large lanai overlooks a fairway, perfect for breakfast. The pool is really nice, and the nearby Grill'n Bar makes a great Mai Tai. The Hilton is a short walk; Kings Shopping Center and Queens Marketplace are a short drive.
Dennis also provided access to the nearby Beach Club at Mauna Lani Resort. Great beach, we went there twice and loved it!
This was our first visit to the Big Island. Distances are huge by Hawaiian standards, and we only had time to roam from Waimea to Captain Cook. Hilo and Hawaii Volcanoes Nat'l Park are a long drive from Waikoloa. A Kona coffee farm and the City of Refuge were a fun and easy afternoon excursion.
Dennis was a pleasure to deal with -- prompt with email, always available by phone, and generously concerned that we have a great time. Dennis and Cheryl have several other properties nearby as well. We'll be back, and next time we'll stay longer.

We just returned with two of our adult children after spending a delightful 12 days in this unit owned by Dennis and Cheryl. What a luxury to have all our breakfasts (and many lunches and dinners!) outside overlooking a quiet and beautiful golf course, and how convenient to have a free parking space nearby, an elevator to facilitate the carrying of groceries and luggage, and the close proximity of the swimming pool, Most important Dennis was always available to assist us when needed. We highly recommend this beautiful condo in the Vista Waikoloa.Resort. It's A REAL FIND!

Roy and Carolyn from Idaho, Frank and another Carolyn from Utah-we just got back from our stay at the Vista Waikoloa condo #11286 on the Big Island. The location was perfect for us-the condo was right across the street from the Hilton where some of our family were staying and it was close enough for us to enjoy a quick walk to see them or them to see us. They were sorry they hadn't rented the condo. The condo is spacious with views of the golf course, clean, comfortable, and also an easy walk to shopping and dining. We especially appreciated Dennis and Cheryl's helpful information and quick responses-no question was too silly to answer. We recommend this wonderful condo.

This Vista Waikoloa condo was great. It was a neat and comfortable 2 bedroom, 2 bath. Very spacious and well-appointed, with all the necessary amenities. The location was perfect and central to the Kohala coast and convenient to shopping and restaurants, as well as Kona, Kawaihae, and Waimea. The owner was very helpful and easy to deal with. I would highly recommend this location and hope to rent there again someday (soon!).

The condo was very beautiful, comfortable and clean. We had an amazing time in Hawaii. The owners were extremely helpful with directions from the Kona airport, etc., and the location was perfect....just across the street from the Hylton Resort where my daughter's wedding took place, and short walks to the Kings and Queens Shopping Plazas. I would recommend this condo to anyone and I would definitely stay there again if I get back to The Big Island, Hawaii.

This was a great trip for my wife and two boys (ages 8 and 11). The condo is centrally located to a number of great beaches within 15 minutes or less as well as great shopping for souveniers, groceries, and restaurants.
It is also a great location to explore the rest of the island as it is only 30 minutes to Kona, the Saddle Road is near by to travel over to Hilo and to Volcanos National Park. Also, we took some half day trips to the North part of the island to Hawi and the Pololu Valley and still came back to relax on the beach for the other half of the day. We had a full day of travel and sights when we went to the Volcanos National Park, but when we returned the kids loved to splash in the pool that is on site. It is a great area to hang out and relax while the kids have fun.
The owners were very attentive and responsive if we ever had a question about anything. They were also willing to accommodate us to stay a few days longer, however, our flights did not match up so we were disappointed.
On top of everything else, the weather was basically perfect each day. 80 to 85 degrees, sunny, and relatively low humidity. Perfect for being outside and relaxing on the beach and playing in the water.

In March 2012 my husband and I traveled to the Big Island for an 8 day vacation. We once again rented the condo from Dennis & Cheryl at Waikoloa.
This was our third visit to the Big Island and our 2nd stay at this condo. The condo was comforable, clean,quit, and very relaxing. The condo is also very spacions and beautifully decorated.
Restaurants, shopping, golf, and the ocean are all within walking distance fron the condo, and as always, the weather was perfect.
Thanks to Dennis & Cheryl, for contributing to another fabulous vacation.
We will be back next year.

Close enough to both King and Queen shopping centers and walking distance to the Hilton Waikoloa. The condo was clean, spacious, and has a nice view of the golf course. Heated salt water pool with two jacuzzis was perfect for lap swimming. Business and fitness center was getting retiled during our stay so I wasn't able to use it. I'd stay here again. Close to everything.
