Our Family of five (Adults ages 31 - 66) had a Vacation of a lifetime! It was all possible because we found a homebase that met all of our needs. There was plenty of room for all of us to share meals, games, and dancing. Whether we were planning the next day or relaxing by the beautiful pool, space was never an issue; there was also plenty of room for us to each have alone time when needed. The Condo was exactly as promised, and Laurie was quick to answer all questions, prior to and during our stay. Even better, our Hostess was generous with suggestions on everything! We were so comfortable in this beautiful Property that we all referred to it as "Home" by day two! TY so much Laura! With your help, kindness and knowledge, this trip was honestly my Dream Come True!

Laura was an excellent host. Entry into the condo was easy and she had spices in the kitchen for basic cooking.
Several good quality fans were available for those that like fan noise or need a little extra cooling power. The patio was our favorite part! Great place to chill and relax. Laura provided excellent instructions and information in her arrival packet. It helped us a ton to find the best local restaurants quickly. And beach locations.

Decor was cute and also comfortable. Beds comfortable and nice to have 2 King choices and one queen for adults.(instead of twins that you find often)

The property was just as described, perfect for adults on vacation. The extras in the garage were awesome and we really appreciated being able to sure the boogie boards and bikes. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we need. Overall we loved the place and would stay there again. Only note: don't turn off the ac because it will make the rooms warm at night and we never got them very cold again. The rest of the rooms were perfect temperatures.

The property is in a nice location. I have been to the island before and this was very different than other places. We had a little trouble finding the specific unit but drove around enough until we found it.
The unit itself suited our needs. We had a crawling baby so we noticed things left by previous guests on the floors that had been missed in cleaning, but we just kept a closer eye out.
My only real issue was that it felt frustrating to communicate with the property owner. In my initial inquiry I had asked a question that didn’t have a response. Then shortly before the reservation I asked about an issue brought up in a previous negative review just to see if it had been resolved (it was about the a/c not working - it did, there’s just a hot bedroom with fans - no big deal). I had an immediate response explaining the situation and defending against a difficult guest. I rented a crib from a service on the island (Note - the unit has a portable crib. Had she responded I would have known that.). After arriving, I was contacted about getting it out by a certain time. I contacted the rental company and found out she had also made it very clear to them. I contacted the property owner again to let her know that they took her own instructions and would have it out, I didn’t get a response and never heard from her again. It just felt like she only responds when it suits her. Not a huge deal, just felt a bit off putting.

Accommodations in condo were good. A bit dated, but nice. Only disappointment, was one bedroom had no AC. There were fans for room, but felt like hot air. We made the best of it! Patio needed fitted cushions for dining chairs, would have been nice. Overall, comfortable condo for a family. We loved the beds, very comfortable! We loved the pool & jacuzzi!

This property exceeded my expectations ! Everything was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Sitting on the beautiful lanai overlooking the pool was a great way to start and end each day. We used the bikes provided for evening rides around the golf course and to Princeville Center. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Kauai.

Laura’s place was a comfy and clean place to come back to after our active days in Kauai. The kitchen and garage had many amenities and gear needed for cooking and taking with us for a day at the beach. Also the beds and couch were very comfy (very important to me). Princeville/Hanalei are some of our favorite places in all the islands we’ve been to and we’d love to come back.

This was our third stay at the Plantations in Princeville. These are wonderful units and perfect with three bedrooms. The unit was clean and well stocked with towels and many beach items available to use in the garage. A relaxing and wonderful stay, as usual.

The property was represented accurately in the listing and probably has the best view from the deck of any unit is this complex. Facing west you see the Napali coast in the distance and overlook the pool. It is on the top floor of the 2 story unit. The owner was very responsive, providing tips for our stay on Kauai which were immensely helpful.

We were a family of 5 with 3 young adult kids. Everything was as advertised and the communication and care of our host Laura was the best I have ever experienced. Thank you Laura! We had very bad weather for most of the week but the Condo made up for that. Loved the covered lanai, could have all our meals outside even though it was raining. The use of the bikes and beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards ext was very nice. We will definitely return!

I knew that Princeville was a little more remote when I booked the condo and a decent drive to many of the activities we were wanting to do on the island. So, we were prepared for some driving during our stay. And, we loaded up on groceries after landing at the airport that first day so we'd be "set". "Shopping" isn't our thing, so not having tons of shops close by was a non-issue for us. It was a great price for what we wanted in a place to come "home" to while on the island. The beds were some of the most comfortable we've had in a stay like this. The scenery was delightful. It was very easy to access my favorite spot on the island (Haena State Park/the Napali Coast). My only regret is that we didn't book a longer stay!
We had so many activities scheduled that we hardly got to make use of the many "extras" available through the condo in our week there. The cooler was GREAT--We DID use it pretty much every day! My daughter and I only used the bikes once though. And we didn't have as much time to boogie board/surf or snorkel--Did I mention, I should have booked a longer stay?? All that is on ME though. I'm not sure I would have really ever wanted to leave! The family had a GREAT time! Laurie was AMAZING at communicating and giving us information about the island--places to go and things to do. I would definitely stay here again (if someone else hasn't already snatched up the time)!

This property was extremely clean and had high quality appliances and furniture. It is an upper unit and we did not have any noise from the lower unit whatsoever. It was very close to shopping and beaches. The central air conditioning does not vent to the two other bedrooms, only to the master. We kept the other bedroom doors open at night with the fan blowing in which seemed to keep it cool enough. The condo management is very meticulous; the exterior as well as sidewalks and pool area were very clean and maintained. The grills are in the pool area but not a very far walk. We made use of the beach toys, snorkels, etc. as there were many available in the garage.

We had a wonderful time in this beautifully furnished plantation townhome. Lots of little extras that made our stay comfortable. Great master bed with another king & queen beds in roomy bedrooms. The pool was immaculate with the spa pool on everyday. Parking close by (we were unable to use the garage, it’s not always available so don’t count on it) & walking paths everywhere. Probably our best family rental, and we've rented a lot of places. We are a family of 6 adults so this 3 BR place was great. Loved the long list of what what there (coffee maker, appliances, washer/dryer, beach chairs, etc.) and what wasn't (soap, shampoo). House rules were clear and not obtrusive. Outdoor patio space made the trip as we all worked. Good beds and bedding in this well designed condo. Five stars.

This property was so perfect for us! We loved the layout of the property. The spacing of the 3-bedrooms/3 full bath was ideal for my husband, our 2 kids and my mom, and we loved how things converged into the kitchen and living space. The condo was extremely well appointed with quality kitchenware, appliances, pool towels and even beach gear — the availability of 2 boogie boards was awesome. But most of all, we enjoyed the all the windows and patio which looked over the pool and hot tub area which provided a nice balance of seclusion and activity. We’ll definitely come back the next time we’re in Hawaii!

The condo was right over the pool which was the number one criteria for us. The pool was clean & refreshing, but a bit small. The bedrooms were nice but not equitable. Since we had all adults it would have been nice to have more than one master. When we arrived the condo at the scheduled checkin time, the condo was not ready. We had to wait 45 minutes for the cleaning to be completed. Our bathroom's tub did not drain when taking a shower, however, Laurie was very responsive to our request for a resolution. A plumber was called and arrived promptly on a Saturday morning. The toaster needs replacing. We did wish that the info given about what to see was a bit more accurate and included shopping. All-in-all we had a lovely stay at the Plantation. We especially enjoyed the lanai. Kauai is our absolute favorite island. Thank you Laurie for allowing us to enjoy this garden paradise.

The reason we picked this condo is the ad said A/C. It needs to read A/C in main living area and master bedroom only. Two other bedrooms have ceiling fans only. They never cooled down, even using standing fans and it was miserable trying to sleep. The other problems were minimal, but the owner wouldn't acknowledge any A/C problem. In reading other reviews, there were other complaints about the A/C. All I ask is that the ad be changed so nobody else assumes the entire condo is air conditioned like we did.

The condo had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We spent a lot of time on the lanai. Appreciated having beach chairs, umbrella and beach bag to use for excursions to the beach. The condo complex is very nice and well maintained. Princeville is a lovely place to stay. Currently, there is road construction on the way to Hanalei so had to keep in mind what times the road was completely closed to traffic. Just have to plan accordingly. This was our first visit to Kauai and it is officially our favorite place to come.

Beautiful/clean/spot less rental. I would consider this as a resort not a rental. Spacious rooms thats decorated to match Hawaii beautiful ambience. Grounds are beautiful, loved having dinner on the outside patio, all provided in kitchen making cooking easy. Close to all/excellent location, provided so many extras, for example the bikes-so our family could ride to beaches and not deal with parking. Maps with all the sight seeing information was appreciated. Owner was professional, went way out of her way to make sure all was organzied for our vacation. Can't wait to come back-would never consider another location/rental. Thank you for the awesome memories!

We just got back from a wonderful vacation in Kauai. The weather was very unusual (we have been to Kauai many times), it was extremely hot with absolutely no trade winds. We were so very thankful for the A/C. I have never worried about it before, but it made our stay so much more comfortable after a hot day out coming home and relaxing in a nice cool unit and sleeping was amazing! The bed was a dream, my husband and I have never slept so well on vacation. We appreciated all the little touches, had fun with the bikes, and the ice-packs in the freezer were so handy for us, it's those little thoughtful touches that really made our stay! We will definitely be back. If I had to make a gripe I would say throw the old, low beach chairs away and buy a couple of those nice Tommy Bahama ones :-)

We arrived quite late at night and we so happy with what we found when we entered this condo ! It was perfect. Spacious, high ceilings, clean comfortable with all the ammenities you could hope for in a vacation rental including a nice covered seating/eating area with great access to the pool. The enclosed garage was awesome and The bikes were a bonus which we enjoyed riding through the neighbourhood to queens bath which was amazing. This property was very convenient to all that the area has to offer and felt very safe and homey. We will definitly try to stay here again when we return to Kauai next year -

My husband and I and two of our children stayed in this condo for two weeks and it was great! The condo was laid out perfectly and felt very spacious. Any concerns we had were quickly addressed by Laurie. I loved the comfy beds and how updated everything was. It was so convenient to have a garage and all of the toys and bikes that were provided. We always stay in Princeville and the Plantation is close to everything. It was nice to have all of the reading material and menus to look through. Our kids loved how close the unit was to the pool and bbq. We would definitely stay here again!

The Princeville area is the most beautiful on the island. We enjoy the beaches, hikes, golf course and beauty in this area. The condo was well equipped and we liked the location- right next to the work out facility and swimming pool. We enjoyed using the bikes for our nightly rides to see the sunset and used the cooler to pack our lunch each day for the beach or hikes. You provided everything that we could need for a wonderful stay on Kauai.
The condo was beautifully decorated, and so roomy! We had plenty of space for the two couples.
We ate in most nights, and your kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals.
We loved the lanai, and spent time most evenings enjoying our “Happy Hour” outside.
It was also so nice having the pool and grill right outside the door.
Thank you for providing all the information in the notebooks! They were so helpful. We appreciated having the umbrellas, chairs, and coolers for our many excursions throughout the week. We spent most days at the beaches nearby. (The snorkeling was incredible!) We also made use of the cruiser bikes to travel to the sunset viewpoint.
We also wanted to thank you for being so persistent in getting the air conditioning issues resolved so quickly when we arrived. It was nice to be able to cool down and sleep comfortably after our days of exploring.
This trip was one to remember, and we are so grateful to have had such a nice place to stay.

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay in Laura's condo. The location was perfect, both within the condo complex (close to the pool), and on the island. We rode the provided bikes to the market, the lovely Regis Hotel beach, and Queen's bath. In the car we were 5 minutes from Hanalei. The pool was beautiful and the hot tub was clean. we had wonderful two weeks at your house. We loved everything: the porch where we were every morning having breakfast while sitting in the comfy chairs, the decor of the house - gorgeous!
The space, the nice porcellain, linnen, pictures on the wall, the icemaker, the location close to the pool (never too loud) - we just "fell" into the pool nearly every evening after a long day, the beach cruisers: we went by bike to the trailheads of Queen's Bath, Hideaway Beach, Sealodge Beach and the Beach at the St. Regis Hotel - no worries where to park the car - there aren't many parking spaces... We used the Coleman ice chest every day, it worked great even on sunny and hot weather. The remote control for the garage, very comfortable.
The house is well cared for, everything is sparkeling clean.
It's a great home away from home and we are already making plans for next time! We are so glad we found your lovely condo.
We made trips to Polihale State Park, Po'ipu, Jurassic Park Gate (Jeep highly recommanded, drive with extreme caution, but a perfect adventure), Lihue, Kapa'a and we loved the North Shore Beaches: everyone of them! Hanalei and Hanalei Bay are great, we love sunsets of the North Shore. Ke'e Beach and Hula Heiau just beside....

This condo truly has everything you need for a great vacation, perfect location, spacious layout with double beds (not twins like most) in the second bedroom, pool and hot tub just steps away - and a garage full of beach chairs, boogie boards, sand toys and bikes. Laurie was great to work with from the initial deposit through our departure. She was prompt to emails and provided our family with some great tips, recommendations and ideas to suit our needs. She also has two binders in the condo, full of dining information, dates/times/locales of Farmers Markets, along with reviews of popular activities she has done with her family. We will definitely be back to Kauai and hope to stay here again!

This was a great condo! Our home away from home for 2 weeks. It was well kept, clean and very kid friendly! We loved that it had coolers, chairs, bikes and beach toys!! The owner was very nice and great at keeping in touch. Not to mention - the location is great!!

We had an incredible time over our Christmas vacation at the condo. It was perfectly located, well appointed, and bigger than expected. We loved the running trails by the golf course, sunset at the bar at the St Regis, riding the bikes around the development, and the proximity to Hanalei for the beach, surfing and restaurants at night. The Na'pali Coast hike to the waterfall and Ke'e beach were also highlights. The gym right next door was great, the hot tub at the pool a nice way to end the day, and the common BBQ at the pool was very convenient. Laurie was incredibly helpful and even went above and beyond helping us with special shipping of xmas presents! We would definitely return. THANKS!

Make sure to pack from home water/hiking shoes(you will hike a muddy trail, cross a river & many streams) drive to the end of road to Ke`e Beach and hike to Hanakapi`-ai Falls (4mi one way) be sure to go all the way to the base of the waterfall, the sound & water is amazing! People stopped way before this to take a pic & turn around. It was awesome, we were the only ones in the waterfall water! We would highly recommend this condo and would gladly rent it again when we return to Kauai!!! Rent this condo and you will not go wrong! Enjoy :) Aloha!

We just came home from our stay on Kauai. Our family has been to Kauai 10 times over the last 9 years and this was the first time we stayed in princeville. What a great community and the condo was way better in person. My 5 year old had a blast in the pool and we were five minutes from the surf in hanalei. I just wish we would have found this place earlier. Very quiet place with everything you need and great views of the mountains. I'm a little hesitant to tell my friend because i want to keep this gem to myself.

We stayed for two weeks in this great condo with our two young kids, 3 and 5, just before Christmas and it was perfect! It honestly had everything we needed. It was comfortable, clean, nicely decorated and convenient. This condo suited our family very well--it was spacious, the kids loved the pool and we all enjoyed the big patio for eating and hanging out. It is also very well situated within the Plantation complex, close to the pool and gym but away from the road so your views are more serene and you don't have any of the vehicle noise you can have in the outer units. The gym was also really nice and I loved riding the nice cruiser bikes that are provided. I really couldn't have asked for more. The location of the condo, and Princeville in general, is ideal for exploring different parts of the island. We love Hanalei and the northern beaches, but we also spent a lot of days south of Princeville, either nearby at Anini or further afield.

We just finished up our stay at this fantastic condo. We loved everything about it and found the owner very helpful, informative, and easy to communicate with. The decor is beautiful and comfortable. The location is unbelievable. We took walks through Princeville, hiked down to Queen's Bath from the condo, and also visited Hideaways Beach. The swimming pool is located near the condo which was convenient. We would definitely like to return here again!

We had a wonderful stay at this condo. It had everything we needed. Beautifully furnished and clean and in a perfect location.
The owner was very helpful, accommodating, and got back to us right away anytime we had questions.
I would give it 10 stars if I could. We loved this place and will be back again next year.

This is a newer property in the Princeville area and the condo was very clean and nicely appointed with new decor and artwork. The layout was perfect for our family and we really liked the covered Lanai. The condo had everything that we needed, including coolers and beach chairs. The owner was available to answer all of my questions and the property management company that she works with was also very helpful and they made check in / out very easy.

From the moment you walk in to this condo you feel like you are at home in paradise. Our family immediately relaxed with the warm furnishings, clean kitchen, and beautiful bedrooms. It was so great to go the the amazing beaches, marked in the Kauai book by the owner with personal notes, and have all the stuff you need cooler, huge beach towels, chairs, and then come back to a cozy, quiet place for drinks on the lanai while the kids jump in the pool. We loved walking along the path by the golf course to the Princeville Shopping Center for dinner or groceries. The location could not be better! Our whole family slept so well with the ocean breeze and the ultra comfy beds. It was hard to leave after having our best vacation in Kauai, but it was nice to know where we will stay each time we come back to paradise.

We stayed here 3/2011, on a last-second booking when thinks blew up at St. Regis. The owner was extremely accommodating and as importantly, communicative. The condo is airy, comfortable and well-decorated; nothing's worse than a vacay rental that's thick in kitsch and trinkets that an owner mistakes for quality interior design. IMMENSE value. In the heart of Princeville. Will stay there again. And whatever you do eat at Roy's new Tavern over at the Plantation Course ... forget Yamaguchi's usual overwrought pretenses, this place rocks. Thanks for a great close to our three-island adventure!!
