This was a lovely condo. The 2 couches that fold into beds was amazing so our kids could each have their own sleeping space. The closet was well stocked for everything we would need for a day at the beach or the tennis courts! We had a fantastic trip!

Loved the location on the north shore. Away from the busyness and density of downtown Honolulu. Just a few minutes from Sugar Mill foods trucks. Unit was as advertised. Comfortably sleeps 5 individuals. Loved the beach supplies that it came with, ie boogie boards, snorkels, masks, toys, umbrella, etc. Saved us a lot of money not having to purchase these things. Gated community that was quiet. Would stay again!

Me, my spouse and my children ages 11,17 and 20 stayed here for a week. There is one bedroom. I knew this prior. It worked well for the most part but i thought you should just keep this in mind. The location is phenomenal!!! It is a small walk to the ocean and the surrounding areas for hiking were amazing. We loved that we were able to escape the chaos of the city and go here. This rental is well loved and my kids were definitely ready for their own beds. The one bathroom for the 5 of us was also tight. But the location and access to the ocean made it a fair trade. Having a parking space was nice! We really enjoyed being close to Laie and the PCC and the dole plantation.

This place was so wonderful, my only "negative" comments are of almost no consequence.
The biggest thing: We immediately felt COMFORTABLE, like you would at home.
The place is clean, really nice with plush carpet. Living room beds were amazing. We had a moment of crisis when unable to find the sheets and extra pillows but, by process of elimination we were able to discover the hiding spot in the couch containing all of the bedding.
Kitchen is wonderful, bedroom is as well, bathroom clean and functional as one would expect/hope. Kitchen did not have a cutting board that we could find.
Washer & dryer worked perfectly. Two AC units were great.
Location on the golf course was wonderful, sunrise and sunset walks were solid gold.
Security gate is perfect for a good cross breeze to run through the house and get things cool naturally.
Couldn't recommend this unit and property higher.
Be advised: You can hear the upstairs neighbors tramping around if they are not the considerate type. Also, there are no gas grills at the pools or tennis courts; don't be like me and assume they would be since it is that way everywhere else.
I would bring my family back there in a hot second if I could snap my fingers and make it happen now.

The unit was clean and a good location. The unit could stand to be updated. The bed was comfortable. The check-in instructions were good except that the gate code was wrong. Enjoyed the golf coarse and the Turtle Bay resort restaurants, and beach.

Our family of four, including two teenagers, just got back from vacationing in this condo. We loved it! The condo was clean and well stocked with plenty of towels, beach gear, and kitchen items. We usually made breakfast in the condo to save money. We used the laundry several times, and it was fine. The complex is very nice and felt safe. The location is a short drive to the Polynesian Cultural Center, Waimea Valley, and other North shore attractions. The beach on property is rocky and not a good swimming beach. We liked the Hukilau Beach in Laie because it was sandy and good for body boarding. Hukilau Beach is about 10 minutes away. It has a rinse off shower and parking lot, but no bathroom.
When we first arrived, our gate code wasn't working. The problem was easily solved with a call to the caretaker who promptly returned the call. Also, we couldn't figure out how to work the TV. We didn't care enough to call about it, though, because we were not on vacation to watch TV.
Our only complaint is the poor qualify of sofa sleeper. One sofa was a futon style, and the comfort was what you'd expect from a futon. The other sofa sleeper was a regular sofa sleeper. The mattress for it was horrible! It was super thin and very uncomfortable. Our teens are used to sleeping on sofa sleepers, and this one was the worst one we've had. The owner really should get a better sofa sleeper.
Overall, this condo is fantastic for a small family!

This place was perfect for our family of 5’s three night stay on the North Shore. It was well stocked - including shampoo and conditioner, laundry detergent, kitchen soap, basic spices, and kitchen supplies. Plenty of towels - including beach towels! It took us till night 2 to realize there is an AC unit for the living room which made nighttime for our 3 kids much more enjoyable. It could use a little more silverware - there wasn’t enough for our family of 5 to all eat with reasonable sized utensils at one meal (specifically talking forks here), but that was minor.
Some of the place looks a little worn and tired, but it was very clean and a perfect stay. Please note that the two double sofa beds more effectively fit one person, as the larger sofa bed is a little saggy so two people on it really doesn’t work. Our youngest slept on the couch cushions set up as a bed on the floor and it worked great. Everyone was very comfortable. But if we had all teenagers or older people, I would not want to fit more than 4 people in this unit. If you have one or more younger kids, this is very comfortable for 5 people.
Definitely would stay here again and definitely recommend!

We arrived to a dirty condo that had not been cleaned from the previous renters. There were dirty bed sheets and wet towels on the bed and couches. Bathroom and kitchen were dirty. When I contacted the property manager he was surprised to hear this and realized he had forgotten to get the cleaner in that morning. He said he would reimburse us for the night but he never did. We had to drive a total of ten miles extra to a hotel in a location we did not want to stay, with no kitchen and not near Turtle Bay. He kept evading our questions about reimbursement for the night we didn't get to stay there and didn't meet us at check out as he said he would to give us the details about the reimbursement. All in all it was a bad experience because he didn't handle the situation well or give us anything in return for all the trouble we went through. The place itself was fine, if a little worn and the binder with information had nothing in it except out of date codes and the wrong Wifi passwords. You have to check your email for the right gate codes and Wifi.

This condo was perfect for the location for what we were looking for. We love the North Shore. Short drive to so many of the fun activities that it has to offer. The condo itself worked, but was lacking some deep cleaning for my preference and also some additional supplies for a family of 5 staying 9 nights. For cleanliness it had hair in the corner by the shower edges on the outside and around the entry doorway edges there was also a lack of cleaning. The wall behind the kitchen sink had splatters. Pictures on the wall were crooked. Dust buildup behind TVs, fronts of the stove and microwave could be cleaned better, etc. I am a little picky as I clean vacation rentals, but these are things I look for to know the job has been well done. The condo in general could use a deep clean. Not so dirty I wouldn't stay, but would have felt better knowing a little more care was put into it. For supplies, we were short pillows, each of us only had 1 pillow each, would have been nice to have a couple more for comfort, also additional blankets. There were only 2 blankets and then sheets. We had 3 teens sleeping on the sofa sleepers and floor, the main bed only had a sheet and bedspread. I get cold at night, so had to sleep in socks and sweatshirt to stay warm enough. We had to buy additional toliet paper and kitchen trash bags. We were provided with only 1 trash bag for the kitchen. They did have tennis and pickle ball supplies which was a bonus.

We loved our time here - especially how well equipped the place was. From boogie boards, to cutting boards, they had everything we needed. The condo was exactly as described and the location was perfect. Would definitely stay again!

The condo and location was great. The condo was clean, well stocked and maintained. Beautiful property and clean pools.
The only issue was the neighbors above us. Quiet hours are supposed to be from 9pm-8am and strictly enforced. The neighbors above were loud past quiet hours and often woke us up by banging between 5-6am. Fortunately we are from the east coast and the time change made it bare able to be woken up that early. Would definitely stay again though. Highly recommend.

Everything was excellent.
Keep in mind that this is a one bedroom home. Besides the queen bed the other sleeping options are a futon and a sleeper sofa. This worked fine for our 3 teenaged kids, but having 5 adults would be more challenging.

This was our first time in Hawaii and this place and location were perfect. It’s quiet enough to hear the birds each morning when we got up. We were able to take advantage of the beaches in the morning and basically have them to ourselves. We saw turtles in Kawela Bay, saw in Keike beach, walked many of the beautiful trails around the property, and had a nice place to stay while we enjoyed our adventures. Lots of treasured memories.

Overall everything was nice. We did have to kill a roach as soon as we walked in but never saw another during our 3 days. The information binder has no help whatsoever for surrounding places to eat, things to do, or see. The community was nice and quiet. Communication with the owner was iffy, but not terrible. If you’re looking for a good place to stay on the North Shore and already know what you want to do or are willing to research it yourself, this place is great. It is close to plenty of beach, food, and tourist options.

We are a family of 4, kids ages 8 and 5. This place had a ton of kid beach stuff, chairs, and an umbrella which was super helpful. It even had tennis rackets and balls. The location was great, easy walk to the beach, maybe 10 mins, even for the kids, and the pool was right across the street. We did bring our own wagon which helped transport stuff to and from the beach. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. The location on the North shore was perfect.

We really enjoyed this property. It was convenient to where we wanted to be, had enough room for our family. Nice kitchen etc. My only complaint was that there was a strong odor in the bathroom. Not sure what it was but it never went away. It would not keep me from staying here again. Other than that it was just perfect.

The condo was nice, the location was perfect for my stay, the pool was lovely as well. However, the air-conditioning in the bed room was right at the head of the bed and the turning on and off of the machine throughout the night was not pleasant. The garbage disposal was broken and there were not enough towels as well as towels that were left in the washing machine.

We had a great stay in this unit. Perfect location to explore North Shore. Within walking distance to Turtle bay resort, golf, walking trails and hidden beach. Very clean, spacious and well equipped. Host was easy to communicate with, check in was easy and a lovely welcome pack was much appreciated, thank you. Property has 3 semi heated pools to enjoy. Highly recommend this property to anyone staying on the North Shore.

This condo was an excellent home base for our 8 day stay! Very clean, spacious, well stocked. Awesome community in a beautiful location. Unlike the super crowded and commercial area of Waikiki this is true Hawaiian country. Having grown up on Oahu, I absolutely love the North Shore. My favorite place in the world. Great restaurants and food trucks within 15 minutes drive over in Laie. Parking is included and I do recommend you rent a car for your entire stay. Aloha and Mahalo nui Loa! We will definately be back every time we return home!!

Short walk to Turtle Bay beaches, resort and restaurants. Great sunset on the point in front of the resort. Loved the North shore area. We happened to be there when The Big. Eddie surf tournament was held. 40 to 50 foot waves. Great weather in January. Around 80 everyday. Awesome area.

Amazing place to stay in comfort away from the hustle and bustle of waikiki. Beautiful, lush grounds. Walking distance to great facilities at turtle bay (including pony rides). Food trucks and beautiful beaches within minutes up the road if you tire of turtle bay. Clean, dpacious accommodation with lovely views to the golf course, native birds and gekos. We had all 3 pools to ourselves during the stay and enjoyed cooking breakfasts and dinners in the lovely kitchen. Only issue was the gatekeeper did not answer buzzes and calls on checkins leaving us stranded (and a little nervous) at the gate, but everything perfect after that. The commentary hawaiian snacks and ice in the freezer were lovely touches. Thanks for an amazing stay!

This was our third visit. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a gift upon arrival! Very thoughtful management and well kept condo. There is a luau near the stables and we enjoyed sitting outside and listening to the music. Our special needs daughter also loves the place. She doesn't warm up to new places easily, but this is like her second home. We will be back soon!

Very private, quiet stay near Turtle Bay resort that was a wonderful break from the hustle of Oahu. Loved the spacious living area, though the sofa beds weren't the most comfortable (to be expected). Amenities were awesome, with lots of personal touches and a few extra we didn't expect. It was nice to have a little in-home entertainment provided (movies, books, cards). Good beach gear, close to a beach. The complex itself had a few strict rules, but that's the price you pay for the privacy and security. Wish we could have stayed here another day or two!

The The property manager went so far above and beyond normal TV it was amazing! She found out it was my mom‘s 90th birthday and had a handwritten card, presents, and chocolate!
Just spent extra touch that made everything fantastic. And then later on in the week I had an issue with my car battery and security guys came over and jumped my battery for me and got us got us going and that was fantastic as well I don’t think I could be happier with accommodations or management just the very best. The condo was everything we needed- and more! Great amenities, well stocked with toys and dishes. We love staying on the North Shore and will forevermore add Turtle Bay as a great home base. We played tennis, dipped in the pool, grabbed coffee from the resort coffee shop, explored the bay every morning at sunrise, and enjoyed relaxing every night in our home away from home. My only note, we had to use both fold out beds and there wasn’t much bedding for them. Just fitted sheets. This did not retract from our stay in the least. It was perfect. Mahalo!! 🌺

This condo was perfect for our family as home base to enjoy the North Shore, Turtle Bay grounds , trails, snorkeling beach, restaurants and hotel bars, and our own condos pools and tennis courts. The kitchen is equipped to make many meals. We loved the 2 pull out couches in the living room for our teen boys. We’ve stayed at lots of Kuuilima Condos but this a one was the most accommodating and reasonably priced. The caretakers nicely reached out personally but everything was great so we never needed anything. We’d rent this again in a heartbeat. Kuuilima is spacious paradise at a fraction of hotel prices .

I have stayed at the Turtle Bay condominiums before so knew what to expect - this rental lived up to my expectations! It is comfortable and well equipped so as to be able to prepare food and eat in. There were a few issues of note:
1) arriving in the dark made the door code pad hard to locate. There is also a lockbox which was easy to spot so there was some confusion on how to enter the property.
2) the hosting service number listed for assistance did not have a voicemail set up so there was no point of contact to help (the security guard not associate with Vrbo was kind enough to help which is outside of his job). I was finally contacted after I was able yo get into the property
3) the door handle to the bathroom sticks and so you can get locked into the bathroom (a hefty push and pull on the handle helps to open it). If staying alone, this is a scary situation!
4) this is a downstairs unit and so upstairs neighbors’ movements and sometimes voices are easily heard.
I would still recommend, but with the knowledge of these potentially limiting factors.

We had an amazing time here! This place had everything! Snorkel gear, boogie boards , beach chairs, umbrellas and so much more. Beautiful kitchen equipped with everything! We enjoyed the stay in this unit twice and we would go back again! It has all the amenities you need to have a nice stay, the bed is comfortable and it is quiet at night. The unit is in walking distance to the restaurant, so if we didn't feel like cooking we would just walk over really quick and pick up something. We traveled with our toddler and the bedroom has some extra room to put a portable toddler bed. The furnishings are nice as well and the unit has a new washing machine and dryer. Overall it's a comfy place to stay.

Beautiful setting at turtle bay for a reasonable price. Property caretaker was easy to get a hold of, clear instructions of check in and access to condo. Enjoyed 2 days of snorkeling at the resort down the street. Only tip: if you use the dryer it makes the condo very warm - suggest to use it in the morning when it’s a little cooler and you can allow the breeze in.

This place was as advertised. Clean, spacious and perfect for a family of 3. We had to buy laundry soap and a sponge. Air conditioner in the room is LOUD (probably just old). Check out on the paperwork inside the unit said 10 while the email said 11. We left early anyway but would revise. Jen was great to buzz is in when we forgot the fob. Overall, a great deal. We enjoyed our stay.
