The overall property was wonderful. We were in Bldg 10 and had beach access directly across the street! The grounds were beautiful, pool area had ample seating and staff helpful! Our unit was perfect on the ground floor and had all the ammenities we needed for going to the beach! we would and will stay here again! Mahalo

Unit was clean , had everything we needed and across from beach. Pool and grounds were lovely. Jillian was very responsive to our needs. A relaxing spot close to everything but not too close. Loved the beach chairs . Mahalo.

The location was great. Easy walk to the beach and shopping/food. The unit had everything we needed to hang out at the beach all day—chairs, umbrellas, snorkeling equipment, boogie boards and coolers. Place was quiet and lovely.

Great location. View of ocean is beautiful!! The place is a bit dated but definitely worth visiting. The bedroom has no A/c a bit warm but slept well. Definitely recommend the place.

We have stayed at Kamaole Sands for years and love it. The property is always beautifully cared for and it's an excellent safe and convenient location. We will continue coming here for years to come. Our condo was exactly as advertised. Great stay! Love building 10 and being on the ground floor. The condo was stocked with everything we needed. Fast and wonderful communication with the property manager when we had questions. Would definitely stay here again.

8 days in beautiful Maui. Unit has perfect lanai setting with well-groomed landscaping and view of the ocean. Beach is short walk across street with protected cross walks.

The photo in the listing do not do this place justice. It is clean and spacious and fully stocked and ready for a couple or small family to have a great vacation. You’re on the first floor, parking spot is close to door, and your lanai opens onto a grassy field that looks somewhat resort-ish with a koi pond and some nice landscaping. Directly across the street is Kamaole beach park 3 which has a beautiful beach and grassy area, as well as small rocky cliffs with some walking trails nearby. You’re walking distance from a handful of local restaurants—I recommend Southshore grindz and also feeds Mexican cafe as well as 808 sandwiches. The condo is clean and stocked with all kitchen appliances as well as beach umbrellas, chairs, towells, sandcastle building tools and boogie boards! No snorkel equipment available however but we brought our own. The Kamaole beach park had great snorkeling reefs and we saw many tropical fish as well as some turtles. We also saw whales spouting in the distance! Anyways, I would 100% recommend this place, and definitely stay here again if I return to Maui!! IMO Kihei is way better than Lahaina, it’s more central and less remote. Also Kihei is less crowded and cramped than Lahaina IMO!! More condos and restaurants and less resorts, more affordable things to do and still a ton of fun! Anyways, stay here you’ll love it!

Property is well maintained. Access to Beach and pool area was great. Barbecue pits located by each of the buildings - very clean and well maintained. Condo was awesome - comfortable and the owners were fantastic with communication.

We had a wonderful time. We have stayed at various Kam Sands units many times over the past 30 years and always have enjoyed them. This was no exception. The unit has been nicely updated with a stocked kitchen. We ate out at restaurants within easy walking distance, cooked in the kitchen, and used the nice grills on the property. The large flat screen TV was perfect for watching the US Open tennis tournament. There is one room air conditioner in the living area that we only ran a couple of short times (it was unusually hot a couple of days), otherwise found it to be quite comfortable with a nice breeze.
Kam III beach is across the road and is a wonderful beach for relaxing on the chairs or using the boogie boards available for use.

No Toilet paper or paper towels in unit. No A/C in the bedroom, with windows that only crack open. Condo has bums camping across the street. The pool had kids in the “adult” section nearly ever evening. No facility dumpster so you have to stack trash up wherever there is space.
All of that it still was okay, until the owner tried charged me extra because we left dirty dishes in the sink and it wasn’t pick up.

Perfect location at our favorite Condominium Complex in Kihei. The unit had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. We celebrated our 30 year wedding anniversary by renewing our vows on the island. It was nice to come back to our condo where it felt like home and had all the amenities we needed to have a beautiful celebration! Beautiful morning breakfast on the lanai with the beach just steps away. We will definitely be back! One suggestion: A cookie sheet would be great on kitchen. I always love to bake something on vacay. We made due with what we found but definitely would be an added plus 🥰

We loved our time in this property on Maui! Great location across from the beach and walking/short driving distance to food and shops in Kihei. The lanai even has a view of the ocean!

I took 2 teens here for a week and it was wonderful. The condo was big enough for 3 of us to live comfortably and having 2 bathrooms was a bonus. The lanai was lovely- shady all day which made for a cool place to eat outside. Beds were comfy, kitchen well equipped, the complex was beautiful and quiet. Kids loved the pool. Proximity to ocean and shops in walking distance also wonderful. Host was responsive and checkin was a breeze. We will be back! Thank you!

Jillian was quick and very helpful whenever we needed help. Location and beach were wonderful for families - turtles everywhere and even while swimming. Snorkeling was decent as well. Great for simple bodyboarding for kids. BBQ and pool areas were great and convenient. Would definitely recommend this spot for families.

We had never used VRBO, very easy and had a great stay! We loved being on the ground floor and walking out and across the road to the beach! Loved being able to see the water from our condo! Grounds are very nicely maintained! We would definitely stay here again! Perfect vacation!

This property was fantastic for our family of 4. We brought our kids to Maui for the first time and they fell in love with the island. This home being right by the water, having the beautiful grass to sit and watch the kids run around, the big pool, the open kitchen and living room area just made the whole experience 100 times better! We will be renting again.
