The unit was tidy, and the check-in process was smooth. Although you are close to the ocean, there is no beach access on the property. The unit has been updated, however several updates were done with cost-cutting in mind. The shower rods are not securely fixed and tend to fall. Additionally, the coffee table lacks stability, swaying easily. The curtains are thin and somewhat transparent and let in a lot of light. The outdoor patio is small and quite compact. Although clean, we would not stay at this property again.

We spent 7 nights at this property and can't say enough great things about it. It is very clean and well stocked for our families needs.
The kids had their own separate room with their own beds which was great for everyone's sleep schedules. The pool and beach were better than expected where the kids spent countless hours in them.
Lastly, the location is more quiet but very close to everything we wanted to see in Maui. There are even some really good restaurants within walking distance for easy meals at night. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Exactly as advertised! Beautiful condo for a family of 5. It was great to be able to see a mountain view and the ocean while enjoying coffee on the lanai. Brent is a great host , readily available to answer any of our questions , we would definitely stay again, thanks for the wonderful stay.

I have stayed in short term rentals all over the world and this was one of our favorites. Plenty of space for a family of 5 (kids aged 15, 13 and 10). Location was great. We swam in the ocean every day. Amazing sunsets. Lots of little details that ensured a great stay such as snacks, kcups, beach chairs, towels etc. I would highly recommend and would stay again if ever in Maui in the future.

From even before we arrived to the condo the communication was great. Then we got to the condo and it exceeded our expectations! The condo is exactly how it is pictured. The view from the balcony is amazing. My family and I had come from 5 days in Oahu at a great resort but honestly we wished we had booked more of our time in Maui at Brent’s property. We would highly recommend! Each morning we walked to a great coffee shop and two of the evenings we walked to very close restaurants for dinner. Both the condo and the location is a 10 out of 10!

Relaxing stay for our family of 5 in this nicely appointed condo. As advertised, quiet location, enjoyed sunsets on the beach, visits to amazing spots such as the tide pools and a bit of a stressful drive for some banana bread. Great communication and definitely recommend!

Stayed here for a few days as we were island hopping with a few friends and the property was excellent. Communication was amazing and the room was beautiful and in a great location. You had access to a private beach and the view was great, I would definitely stay here again!

This property is truly amazing! The photos are very accurate, breathtaking view of the beach, Hawaiian themed décor and truly everything you need at your fingertips. We were a family consisting of two adults and three kids and this place had everything we needed; Well stocked kitchen with pots, plates and cutlery, beach chairs, a cooler, and even beach toys! Excellent value and communication from owner. HIGHLY recommended!

Brent was great. The place was as clean, modern, equipped and up to date as anything I've ever rented from VRBO.
It is a fantastic property to use on Maui. The location is quiet and close to Lahaina. There are several very secluded beaches nearby. There are very nice beach chairs with the unit so you don't need to buy/ rent your own.
I have nothing bad to say.

Condo was great! Completely updated and beautifully decorated. Location was convenient to wonderful restaurants, shops and activities. Brent is a fabulous host. He offered suggestions for dining. He’s also very responsive to all communication. The AC was still out for the whole building, due to December storm, but the trade winds kept it completely comfortable. I would highly recommend!!

We loved our stay at the Royal Kahana. The unit was updated and clean. There was plenty of space for our party of 5 to have space and privacy. The kitchen was well stocked with spices, oils, and condiments. There were beach towels, beach chairs, boogie board, and soft sided cooler with a large ice pack for day trips. There were plenty of paper products, cleaning supplies, and bath towels. We had oven views to watch the whales from the balcony and watched the sun rise and set. The host was attentive and responsive. The air was out in the entire building during our stay but there was a nice breeze and it cooled off at night and the host compensated us for the inconvenience. He also worked to get us back AirPods that were accidentally left behind. Would highly recommend this unit.

The recently renovated condo was very nicely appointed and comfortable. Brent was great to work with and provided information when needed.
This is an end unit on the seventh floor so there are excellent cross breezes (we had the windows open all the time) and beautiful views of sunrise over the mountains to the east and sunsets on the ocean to the west.
The complex has a nice pool and some games - we played corn-hole one evening.
There is no beach here but the property is up against the ocean, so the views are beautiful! For a beach, it’s just a short walk. We also enjoyed being close to the coffee shop by the highway and the restaurant two resorts over - good food and drinks there.
Lastly, we used the concierge service(first time!). She was incredibly helpful and set us up for a heli tour, snorkeling, and lots of recommendations for other things to do and places to visit.
Overall very nice condo and great location. We had a wonderful trip!!

The condo pool, corn hole and shuffle board were fun. Proximity to Kapalua Beach and coastal hike was perfect. Wonderful restaurants nearby. Condo was beautifully decorated and had everything you’d need.

Our stay at this location was very nice and the condo unit was “as advertised”. Brent was always in communication with us before, during, and after and did a very good job. There was a issue with the air conditioning our last two nights we stayed and Brent immediately offered back some of our money for our inconvenience without us asking. This condo is beautiful!! We had 2 adults and 3 teenagers and everyone enjoyed it. The beds were comfortable and the view of the sunset from the deck was perfect! The kitchen/bathrooms were fully stocked with everything we needed and all of the beach gear was perfect for our daily excursions. The location wasn't in the most desirable part of the island, at least for us. We found most things to see/do were either North or South of us. I wouldn't say this was a deal breaker though. For the price, I don't think you could beat it. The only real negative was the beach and the pool, which again weren't deal breakers. The beach was blocked off with sandbags, so there wasn't much access when we stayed. That being said, you won't have trouble finding other beautiful beaches anywhere in Maui. My daughter's boyfriend has never been snorkeling before, so when we arrived we went to the pool to show him how to use his mask and snorkel and get used to breathing with it. We were told by security that snorkel equipment wasn't allowed in the pool. The next day, we went to the pool with two small ring floaties and again the security guy told us we couldn't have floaties in the pool. There is no smoking anywhere on the property. However, several people were smoking at the pool on a daily basis. Nothing was ever said to them though. Needless to say, we didn't use the pool the rest of the trip. Overall, I would recommend this condo. It's updated, really clean and fully stocked. The owner's were also very friendly and attentive and answered my questions in a timely manner.

We had an absolutely fantastic time in Maui! We couldn't have been happier with the location and the condo. Brent was fantastic to work with and was extremely responsive. He accommodated our needs and proactively reached out and had the 2nd bedrooms setup with two twins to meet our family needs. They completed a beautiful remodel and the home is furnished with everything you need for your stay including a well stocked kitchen. They have beach towels for you as well as boogie boards, beach chairs, a small soft side cooler, and an umbrella which we used on our beach days! One thing we were not sure of when we rented the unit was the pool area. When we got there we were pleasantly surprised and extremely happy with the outdoor space. The pool area was larger and much nicer than it looked in the pictures, the area was meticulously cleaned every morning, they have 4 gas grills (which we cooked steaks from Costco on one night), and there are plenty of lounge chairs and of course, beautiful sunsets with Lanai and Molokai in the foreground. We are hoping to get back to Maui again in the next 2 years and we will definitely be contacting Brent again!
