The unit was clean. We did not realize it was on the 6th floor. Thought we had a beach walkout and the beach in front of the resort was not the best. We did have a little trouble getting in; hardware a little dated. And we could not figure out regular stations to watch on TV. We are football fans and couldn’t watch ESPN. I did message our host about getting in the unit, and TV issues and did not get a response. Their instruction book was very good. We tried all the restaurant recommendations and they were very good. Enjoyed our Pacific Whale Foundation trip very much. Overall very good but a few little glitches!

This is a lovely spot in Kahana on the west coast of Maui. Friendly staff is a plus. I used the small but well furnished gym. Great view from the pool; nice pool as well. The lanai is spacious and offers great views of molokai. Well stocked kitchen is a good size. My wife loved the AC it worked very well. Fold out bed was comfy as well as the king and the pillows were awesome!! Kahana features a small beach and walking distance to amenities including Dollie’s Pub which has sports, ice cold beer, excellent wait staff, and the best pizza in west Maui. Really good. We recommend this condo.

This was our first time in Maui/Hawaii. The condo was exceptionally clean and was very well stocked. LOVED the washer/dryer combo as we were traveling for two weeks. The view was better in person than in the pictures. The staff at the front reception area were super nice and very accommodating. Kimberly the host was great about getting back to us when we had questions. This is a great place and I would definitely stay here again if I ever get back to Maui. 5 Stars all the way around..

Beautiful view of ocean and watched whales jumping from the covered patio. Main living space is nicely furnished with a comfy bed. Has a washer & dryer in the unit as well as a nicely equipped kitchen.
Owners were very responsive to questions.
If I come back to Maui, I would stay here again.

The apartment is located right on the beach and has an incredible view… just like you see in the picture. We would sit on a large balcony every morning and watch the whales. The building has a pool that was never too crowded.
The apartment was very clean, renovated and had A/C and washer and dryer. It really had everything one may need during the stay. The bed was big and comfortable. The apartment is only a short drive away from Lahaina.
The owner was super nice and left some recommendations on what do to on the island.
We will definitely rent this apartment again once we return to Maui.

I was in Maui for a medical conference at one of the resorts in Ka'anapali. I didn't want to pay the resort fees so I booked this property. I'm so glad I did! It was very clean and comfortable. I loved having a washer and dryer in the unit. It was so convenient! The grounds and property at the Royal Kahana are amazing. I especially loved the ambiance at night with the lighted tiki torches around the pool. The beach directly in front of the resort was great. So convenient to walk right out to the beach. The sunsets were AMAZING! I loved to sit on the lanai to watch and listen to the waves. It truly is a paradise view. The bed was comfortable. At night I could just barely hear the waves which was fun. The A/C was wonderful as it was very hot and humid outside. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything I needed to make meals instead of eating out every day. I felt completely safe staying there by myself. It was very convenient to several great beaches for snorkeling (Kapalua and Honolua) and wave jumping (DT Fleming). Overall I would highly recommend this unit for 1-2 people as it is a studio. It helped to make my Maui vacation magical.

Great location! You can hear the waves at night. Safe area and walking distance to a few restaurants. Condo needs updates like cabinets fixed, new bathtub, new sheets, few more amenities for guests, updated couch and something to prop open bathroom door to avoid slamming from the wind.

This was our first experience in Maui, Hawaii and the host made it really easy and comfortable for us! I must say my favourite thing about this place (after a looooong day of adventure on the island) was the king sized bed!!

We really enjoyed our stay for the most part (great location, loved the pool and sitting on the lanai, easy to walk around) but struggled at night due to the lack of privacy curtains on the large sliding glass doors- they were very thin and did not block any light from the neighboring building and we could also be seen inside if we had any lights on. We had a tough time sleeping and didn’t feel safe doing anything besides watching tv at night… if real curtains were hung, we would happily return in the future! There was also no A/C but this was not an issue in February for us.

We loved staying here! Took advantage of the pool side grills to make dinner almost every night. Sleeping with the sound of the ocean every night was better than any of my sleep apps. LOL! I can wholeheartedly recommend this beautiful place.

The property was very clean, has a beautiful lanai, and just right for two people. The kitchen and washer and dryer in unit made it easy living, and you can’t beat the sunsets and views of the island of Malakai right from the room.

We stayed 4 days and highly recommend this property for couples or singles. The studio is the perfect size, has been updated, great a/c for the evenings, all the kitchen amenities, and even has a washer & dryer. Our host was absolutely FABULOUS, very quick to respond, and gave us great recommendations. If you are looking for a clean, quiet place in a great location with an ocean view, look no further. The property even has a pool looking at the ocean but we didn't try it out because we were too busy snorkeling the island. :)

This was a spectacular gem in Maui. The unit appeared to have been recently remodeled and was beautiful. It had all of the necessary amenities and the unit also had additional soap, beach towels, beach chairs, and cooler for us to use. We spent several nights cooking in and having dinner on the balcony while watching the breathtaking sunset. Kimberly was a phenomenal host and responded back to questions very quickly. I can't say enough positive things about this place. We'll definitely be back and hope to stay here again. Thank you so much!
