Place was exactly as posted. Very beautiful views! Ease of access to beach, stores, and food. Had a few cockroaches visit but post did inform that pests may be an issue. May want to check about changing locks as it was hard to unlock/lock with the keys...didn't want to always work right away. Took us a few minutes each time to get in and out. Host was great with communication.

Spacious 2 bedroom with stunning views. Kitchen a delight to cook in… well supplied with high end appliances, pots and pans. Lovely decor felt luxurious and not a normal VRBOLots of Whale watching from veranda, beach right outside … rainbows, turtles, brilliant nighttime stars…. A perfect vacation.Small shopping area across street, excellent sushi, pizza and liquor store. We were group of 5 and all want to return right away

Location of this condo is terrific and convenient. It is on the second floor and the balcony is almost on top of the shoreline. Great view over the water. Beach access is really just a seawall at this condo so there are better beach areas nearby. Although you can walk down the stairs and get into the ocean, it isn’t the best beach to sit and enjoy the sand. Very convenient to Kapalua if you are coming over for the golf tournament. It’s about an hour drive to the airport or to Kahului or base of Haleakala. Would stay here again. No AC but enough airflow for the rooms to stay comfortable.

I stay in Maui twice a year and this unit was beautiful! It is surely worth the difference of money compared to other similar units. Supplies to start you off were much appreciated and instruction book was thoughtfully written. They even have emergency lights in case of an incident. Stunning views. Great amenities. Comfortable beds. Will surely return!

The grounds are beautiful. We very much enjoyed the views from the lanai and bedroom. The only unfortunate is that it is advertised as having a gym. There was no gym. As a person that works out regularly, I was disappointed. Other aspects were great!

The unit was very nice! LOVED my view from the balcony and bedroom! Everything was updated and I really appreciated the use of the provided cooler for our day trips and binoculars for whale watching from the balcony. I spent hours there. LOL I came to Maui in February to watch the whales and was not disappointed.
Not any fault of the place, but with downtown Lahaina closed down from the fires, dining in the area was a struggle. We learned quickly that dinner reservations are a must and should be made early if you don't want to eat fast food or drive an hour to get somewhere else.
Check in was very confusing. Instructions said to check in with security desk. We arrived just after 6pm and there was nobody that worked in the place anywhere to be found. There was also no one available at the number given to us for this particular unit's property manager. So we kinda had to guess where to go to find the unit. It's a little confusing because there are a couple of properties very close together which made it appear that they were all connected. Once we found the elevator though and went to the 2nd floor we found it with no problem. And access to the unit was easy with the lockbox outside.
Overall, the say was very nice. Although after exploring other areas of the Island, I think I would book in another location just given the distance to drive to most of the popular attractions from this place.

Pros:
1) We could hear and see the ocean (and a couple of turtles!) from our second story unit.
2) The unit was spacious.
3) It was in a convenient location.
Cons:
1) The pictures on VRBO are totally misleading. The unit was run down and dirty.
2) The unit was not clean when we arrived. There was popcorn and food stains all over the rug and the sofa was super old and smelled of body odor.
3) The toilet in one of the bathrooms was blocked.
4) This unit had absolutely nothing in the way of pantry condiments. The knives were dull and the cutting board was falling apart.
5) The front screen door kept getting jammed so it would take us a while to get out.
6) The toaster and coffee maker stopped working and when we reported it, nobody came by to fix them so we had to buy all our coffee outside our whole trip.
7) Both of the magnetic wooden shutters were broken in the living room and master bedroom so the light was not totally blocked out.

On beach . Beautiful balcony views. Well stocked condo. Not far from shopping and restaurants. No AC which was fine for us since fans and breezes made up for it most of the time. But if u require ac, then this is not the property for you.
All positives. If i had to list negatives, it is a little smaller than it looks. But it worked for 3 adults and 2 kids. Also, wish the pool was bigger and facing the beach..

This room was perfect for two couples! Amazing views, right on the water with nice beach access. The unit had all of the amenities we could have needed, and was in perfect condition (the listing doesn't do it justice). I would highly recommend it to others, and gladly stay here again myself!

The best part of the rental was being ocean front on a more private beach area close to town access. Whale watching was incredible from the lanai. Not being so high up we had optimal views of the palms and ocean. Great place for a family stay with a more relaxed vibe.

Perfect spot right on the water. We stayed with our baby in one room & my parents in the other. We had plenty of space. There was even a high chair. Equipped with everything we needed. Pretty much a 10 minute drive to all the major spots. The beach spot is just ok but close to many other bigger beaches.

Traveling with two small kids this location was key. Steps to the beach, nice space for the family to spread out and a very short walk across the street for rentals, food and convenience store. And talk about a view. I don’t think the listing does this place justice. It was much more than I was expecting and we would definitely return!

This property is EXACTLY as advertised, actually BETTER. Sometimes pictures make a place or a view seem better than it is, but not here! From the first moment we walked in and saw the beach steps from the balcony we knew it was going to be a great week! The sunset views, comfortable furnishings, location close to a few shops and restaurants, all led to an amazing stay. Some of the island’s best snorkeling is about 15 minutes up the road to the North and Lahaina is South by about the same distance. If you are considering a Maui stay and looking at this place. Book it!

We absolutely loved our stay the view was gorgeous, and the turtles casually swimming by popping up their heads was a nice bonus. We definitely loved having access to the beach anytime we wanted with low traffic. Check in and Check out was painless and communication was excellent and prompt. All I have to say is if you visit and decide to do a no technology day and stumble upon the puzzles in the games cabinet the 1000 piece puzzle is missing a piece :( ..Loved our stay no regrets at all!!!

First and foremost, the view from the property is amazing. The pictures are an accurate representation of what you get. The beach and ocean are in full view from the main bedroom. You hardly have a better view of the sunset from anywhere in Maui. The kitchen was adaquately stocked with all the necessities to cook, but I would encourage you to spend some money with the local restaurants nearby. On the lanai, there were beach chairs and a boogie board that we used during the duration of the trip. There was also a beach umbrella, but it was broken. Inside the condo, they had a cooler and some snorkel gear. Overall, the property itself was great and had all the amenities we needed to have a relaxing and fun stay.
The only complaint I had is with the guests below us smoking on their lanai. We informed management of the issue on a couple of occasions, but the issue persisted. I would liked to have seen a greater sense of urgency in addressing the problem. This is admittedly unique to our stay and not a guarantee you would have the same experience. I'm not removing any stars for the issue since it was the other guest being inconsiderate despite signs up around the property forbidding this behavior.
I would not hesitate to stay here again. Being so close to the ocean is hard to beat. Beautiful property and views. We're very happy we stayed here during our trip.

CONS…It was a bit smaller than expected from photos, but was very comfortable for four adults. Lack of AC was quite noticeable due to high humidity and heat, although constant breeze was usually adequate for temperature control.

The location was amazing! Turtle watching, quiet and intimate beach area, snorkeling, and daily catamaran and sailboat watching…Fantastic breeze everyday that helped keep us cool. View from master bedroom and living room was breathtaking. Never slept better with the sound of ocean waves crashing and the cool night breeze.Less than 5 minutes from Whaler’s Village and less than 8 minutes from Lahaina.. Would highly recommend!

For our first stay in Maui, this property was perfect. We loved falling asleep to the soothing sounds of the ocean. On our first morning we saw a double rainbow, whales breaching and blowing, and at least 3 different sea turtles. The property was well kept and equipped for cooking and relaxing. There were several places to eat and get supplies within walking distance. Kids loved having their own space - teo full baths and 4 separate beds was pretty incredible. Definitely recommend…

We really loved staying here: it was clean, beds were comfortable in the rooms and you CAN'T BEAT THE VIEWS!!!! The only thing we wish was that the bathrooms were adjoining to rooms, one of them was not private except for toilet and shower.

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The view of the ocean with the whales and turtles was exceptional. We would sit for hours, watching the whales frolic in the ocean. Huge sea turtles entertained us, as well. We saw more from our lanai than we saw on our whale watch. We would love to stay here again.

We loved our stay in VI 208. It was exactly as pictured and has amazing views. Extremely clean and updated, very nice. Super easy check-in and parking. We had no problems or complaints and I did receive a text the day after check-in to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Perfect for a family, everything provided that you would need at the beach. Would highly recommend!

This property was absolutely spectacular - from the first moment walking in and pulling the shades to see the ocean just a few feet away, to the sunsets each night. We loved our stay, and are already looking to the future to find our next trip out!
We loved the beach the most: a few condo complexes had access but there was plenty of room to play, laze without being bothered too much by high tide, and plenty of turtles. The bedrooms were comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked, and we enjoyed every moment.
