Fantastic spot. This truly is a 5/5 star rental. Step off the backyard grass into the soft white sands of lanikai beach then into the warm ocean daily. The home is comfortable with everything you need and more. The guest cabin gave us “our own space and privacy” away from our children at night for us and them, making the entire trip that much more special. Well appointed with soft bedding and towels cannot say enough positive about this place. With restaurants and shopping close by this is a great way to unwind in Hawaii. Hale Lanikai is truly a magical stay.

Brought my family (with parent and in-laws) to Hawaii and we were thrilled to have found this amazing home. The location is perfectly situated with beach access and the views were unparalleled. Even relaxing in the front lawn you felt you were at the beach with the waves rolling in just a few feet away. Lanikai is the best beach we’ve been at. And the hole itself is fantastic — recently undated with everything you need to feel like you’re at home yourself. The yard is great for relaxing or watching the kids run around to play. Even communication with the property manager felt white glove — absolutely the best. Don’t hesitate to book this stellar property.

Hale Lanikai is an exceptionally beautiful and special place. A Darling home right on the beach to enjoy every water sport imaginable or just gaze out and enjoy from the deck and beachfront lawn. Calm turquoise waters. Beautifully appointed bedrooms and modern bathrooms. 2 large lawns and multiple seating areas. And wonderful accommodating managers and owners. I can go on and on but suffice to say that Hale Lanikai is a blessing, and will be a beautiful memory, to all who stay here.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home. Everything was extremely comfortable and beautiful. Every detail was thought of and it made us feel right at home. The location is perfect with the ocean right out your door but still feeling private. We hope to return on our next trip to Oahu.

Hale Lanikai was an unbelievably perfect way to spend the week. Stepping out onto the lanai each morning with a coffee cup in hand, we were greeted by warm breezes & turquoise and cobalt waters. As much fun as we had with various activities all around Oahu, it always was so tempting to just stay at the house--the view was magnificent! The surf on this beach is very calm, so it's just perfect for hanging out and enjoying.
The house itself was extremely comfortable and well appointed. My mother-in-law was with us, and loved the privacy afforded by the separate cottage.
The property management company was exceptionally helpful and easy to work with, and checked in on us a couple of times throughout our stay, just to make sure we were doing ok.
We've been fortunate to travel a fair bit as a family, and without question, this trip to Oahu ranks amongst the best vacations we've ever had, due in no small part to this house and the incredible natural beauty that awaits from the lanai! The photos in the listing do not lie--it really is that incredible!

Our family of 7 thoroughly were in awe of this property. Perfect set up with my in-laws in the cottage and the rest of us in the main house. The updated home was beautiful...well stocked in every way including bathroom with all the essentials! Let's talk about the view...unmatched! Right on the crystal clear water and beach. We all enjoyed sitting on the back lawn and having cocktails as the sun set! The pictures do not do it justice. We will be back!

The view was definitely the best. It was our family’s first time in Hawaii and we all thought it was worth every penny for this property. Location is great, quiet, and almost like a private beach. Although you do need a car to get around this place.
I dont know if the beds are old or just really really soft, but they were not comfortable at all, specially the master bedroom and the cottage. Had to sleep on the couch for the last 3 days due to back pain…
Other than that, this place is spectacular. Couldn’t ask for a better place for a family trip with new family members (my wife and my sister jn law)!

We had a lovely time staying on the beach! The kids loved having such easy (but safe) access to the beach and it made beach time SO much easier as we didn’t have to pack up half the world into the car to take our 3 kids to the beach.
The AC in the bedrooms was very much appreciated, and the sea breeze through the windows in the living room kept the main living space cool. The neighborhood was very peaceful, and there was a little playground a short walk away too. The welcome basket was very much appreciated also. I hope we will get to come here again!

We loved our stay!! The location is the absolute best. I initially hesitated when I saw some reviews characterize the house as being a bit rough around the edges, however this was absolute rubbish. The house is such a cool beach cottage; exactly what you expect from a Hawaii beach vacation. Our favorite part of the trip was waking early each morning to go out on our lawn with coffee and watch the sunrise over the Mokulua Islands - priceless!
We also rented kayaks and a paddle board and were able to explore the surrounding islands. We snorkeled off the reefs directly in front of the house and saw so many sea turtles!
Truly a dream vacation in an idyllic setting...

Best place to stay on the island. Avoid the noise and traffic in Waikiki. Can drive there to enjoy the shops, then return to Lanikai for peace and quiet on your own beach.

Great location! The house's layout is very conducive to social interaction. The bathroom closest to the living space is substandard and needs renovation (probably why there is no picture of it on the website). The kitchen could use some TLC and upgrades. The guest unit needs a A/C unit, like all the three bedrooms have.

We loved our stay at the Lanikai property. It was a wonderful family getaway. The location is incredible. Lanikai beach is absolutely stunning. We did not want to leave the property. The house was the perfect size and the living spaces were very clean and well furnished. The management team was very responsive and helpful. The only concern was the that the kitchen (cabinets, appliance, and amenities) and the bathrooms were outdated and old. The house will be perfect once they remodel them. Having said that, we will return again! Thank you for the warm hospitality. This truly was a wonderful vacation.

We had a wonderful family vacation here! The location was perfect and the service of the kind ladies was superb. This rental allowed us to enjoy quality family time. It was nice to walk right out to the beach or simply enjoy the view right from the backyard. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with the necessities. The rental property managers were readily available, thorough follow up, respectful of our privacy and willing to offer suggestions for questions we had.
