We enjoyed our 1 week stay! Comfortable, spacious and well located (for Poipu beach). Also appreciated the host's thoughtfulness with keeping place well stocked and equipped. Would definitely rebook if we're back in the area.

Andrew was a really attentive and friendly host! Lots of privacy, but there if you had questions. The place was exactly as advertised and unlike some rentals, the bbq was actually in good shape and had gas. Would/will definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed being able to come back here and feel away from the crowds while still being close to many things. Very well designed space. You might even get lucky and have a couple cute cats come visit you on the patio in the evenings.

We had a great experience with staying here. The hosts had fantastic communication and the space was perfect. We loved the showers, bed and space! Awesome place for accessing all areas of the island. Loved seeing the monk seals on the beach nearby :)

Thank you for listing this beautiful property! Having a home base with laundry is a must for us and your unit offered amazing laundry facilities. Being able to pack less offers us a huge benefit! We loved sitting outside in the little garden - a beautiful little space to unwind after a day of vacation activities. Beds were super comfy with buttery soft linens. Your check in instructions with videos and photos were fantastic - MAHALO for going the extra mile, this made it so easy.

This little hideaway was perfect for our first family vacation. Walking distance to the beach, greta happy hours and the best acaii bowls on the island! Our host was super communicative and kind. Would totally stay here again if we ever make it back!

This property was amazing, clean, and well maintained. Check in with Andy was easy and very clear. The king bed was very comfortable. We had one minor issue that was resolved VERY quickly. Andy's family was very polite and left us to our vacation plans. The sunken shower was cool and very nice and unique! Loved our stay so close to Poipu each where we saw turtles, and seals on or near the beach nearly every day. This made for a great beach vacation!

Comfortable, and close to the Beach at Poipu. This little cottage was
just what I needed to rest my body and spirit.
Everything I needed and more was supplied.
Beaches, coffee house, good places for food are all within a close radius. Thanks to Andrew and family for a wonderful stay

This is a great little spot in a local’s neighborhood. Host lives next door but leave you alone unless you need something. Great communication. The unit is old with more recent updates. Doors and windows could be updated but have little impact on function. Some additional amenities in the kitchen would be nice but the basics are there. Beach stuff is available for guests. 10 minute walk to the water. Quiet accept for the roosters that are omnipresent in HI now.

We had a blast. Private, secluded, and safe. My girlfriend and I didn’t want to stay in a hotel room for the week and wanted a “homie experience.” This fit the bill and honestly was better than we expected. Thanks Andrew!

Great location - had a wonderful time and checked all the boxes. I would not recommend this for more than two people and there is very limited storage space for clothes. However, it was very nice in a quiet residential area a few blocks from PoiPu Beach and very quiet.

Totally wonderful stay at Pua Hale. Andrew’ was very accommodating and helpful. Cute inside decor, garden backyard, safe, family-oriented neighborhood in perfect location near beach but accessible for visiting rest of Kauai, Absolutely no complaints. Much better than any hotel or condo.

Great location in Poipu area and close to the beach and many other amenities like shops and restaurants.

Stayed for 7 nights with my fiancé for our friends wedding at The Beach House which was conveniently only .2 miles away. This guest house was awesome, in such a great location. Poipu is such a great area for it to be - close to everything for food, 2 minute drive/10 minute walk to the beach, 20 minutes from Lihue airport and about an hour from activities on the north shore. We definitely thought it was a good central spot to explore all of Kauai. Although we spent most of our time out exploring the beautiful island of Kauai, we really enjoyed our stay here. The backyard/outside is great - very private, full of greenery, pretty flowers/trees, and cool green geckos hanging around lots. So nice to have beach chairs, beach towels and boogie boards because a lot of my friends had to rent them. AC was a blessing because Poipu does get hot, especially in August. The water pressure in the shower is amazing, makes for getting sand and salt out of hair very easy. The outdoor shower is a huge plus too. The bed was very comfortable and awesome that it was a California king as I’m pretty tall. We really enjoyed the privacy and beauty of staying here. Andrew and his family are very nice, personable and helpful. Would definitely stay here again if we came back to Kauai!

It was a great home away from home for our family of three. Plenty of space to stretch out, beautiful back patio, and garden with tons of geckos. The location was just a short walk to an amazing beach. I highly recommend this beautiful place.

We loved Pua Hale. The high ceilings and ceiling fans kept us comfortably cool. The cal king bed was blissful and even the sofa bed wasn’t bad. Kitchen was easy to use, the water pressure was perfect. Andrew and his family have clearly put a lot of thought into making this a welcoming place. We loved all the amenities though didn’t end up using the grill or boogie boards.

Cute stand-alone unit that is very comfortable for couple. Walking to beach(10-15min), shopping, restaurants. Excellent parking off street. Convenient laundry. Unique bathtub/shower combo. Extra amenities include beach chairs, umbrella, towels, boogie boards, etc. Price was better than resorts with much more privacy in clean neighborhood.

We had a great 10-day stay at Pua Hale in Poipu. The place is actually bigger than the pictures - especially the living/dining/kitchen area. It's in a great location - walkable to Poipu Beach (you must go at sunset to watch the turtles come sleep for the night on the shore) and close to shopping/dining, and other beaches. You are at one with nature in the cottage as you'll see and hear tons of birds and geckos. The patio was a nice private area to relax and BBQ in. Loved having a washer/dryer, beach supplies all in great condition (umbrella, towels, chairs, boogie boards) during our stay. Andrew was a great host - we enjoyed chatting with him and meeting his friendly pup!

Great location not far from the beach. Perfect for my adult son and me. Everything you could need for a nice time in Kauai. Andrew was always quick to respond and even though we didn't need to contact him during our stay, I'm confident he would have been available if we needed anything. Thanks for the great time!
