We had the best time with our 5 & 8 year old here. So many thoughtful things left in the condo to entertain them at the beach. The king bed was so comfortable and we felt very at home during our stay. The condo building is at the end and we felt like were at the edge of the rainforest with no one else around. About a 10 min walk to the beach but definitely worth it. It is so beautiful everywhere you look up north. The pool and resort are also so fun and well taken care of.

We loved this spacious, quiet condo to start quiet mornings with coffee and rainbows on the lanai, and finish our day with a dip in the resort pool or quick trip to the beach to watch the sunset.
Kitchen was very well- appointed. It was super to have full size laundry machines and the pull out couch was very comfortable. We loved it!

This was a wonderfully place to stay on the North Shore. The scenery was unbelievably beautiful and the condo was a 10min walk to the beach along a paved path from the condo (conveniently an outdoor shower/foot rinse spicket is located where the path begins at the edge of the condo property). The condo has 2 pools, a hot tub, a new pizza restaurant and a bar/restaurant on site. Several restaurants and food trucks are located 10min away in Hanalei. The condo owner checked in several times before our trip and gave recommendations on food and activities. The condo was incredibly clean and quiet. The kitchen was well equipped with pots/pans/dishesfour eating in the condo. The condo came with 4 beach chairs, 2 beach umbrellas, 2 mats for sitting on in the sand, a cooler, and a boogie board that my teenagers used at every opportunity. We found the location perfect for a quiet, gorgeous setting and we drove to the more tourist locations on the east and south end of the island for touristy activities. The beach located at the end of the path by the hotel is quiet and a sandy with giant shade trees (it's a 10min walk down a paved path which does require a walk back up the hill- though the resort will happily drive you to/ from the beach in golf carts! There is a phone located at the bottom of the hill where the path ends that you use to call the front desk and they send a golf cart your way). This beach is perfect for splashing in. For bigger waves and boogie boarding, I would suggest the 10min drive into Hanalei for the public beaches there. You will find several parking lots with bathrooms and several manned life guards stations. We saw people surfing, kids of all ages wading in the water, and the beach is all sand.
This condo is located on the corner of the property and is especially quiet. We used the patio and loved that it was ground level as it made the patio feel especially large. The view for sunsets and star gazing were perfect from this location.

Wow, this place is AMAZING. So clean and way bigger is person than the pictures articulate. The condo was extremely clean, as well as the resort it was on.
We would absolutely stay here again should we have the chance, and I would recommend this place to everyone!

Unit was spotless - Jeff was excellent and available. The topography of the resort is something to be aware of; although the golf carts are always available it is a significant descent to the beach and ascent to facilities.

We had an incredible stay and Jeff's communication was great. Can't beat the location and the views of Hanalei Bay were exceptional. The condo was clean and had plenty of amenities. The resort's pool was really nice and grounds were well-maintained which included a beach access trail. The kitchen was well-stocked and having a laundry machine and dryer was a major plus. The bed was a little soft for our taste, but we still slept comfortably. Being on the edge of the resort, the unit feels extremely private and is quiet. Short drive to the grocery store and nearby beaches/towns. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful place for a seven-night stay to completely relax and unwind. Hanalei Bay Resort and this condo in particular are spectacular. It's even nicer than the photos. We liked being in the end unit, very quiet with beautiful views. Easy access to the pool and the on-demand private shuttle (extended golf cart w/friendly/helpful drivers!) will bring you and all of your stuff down to the picturesque beach. While there were only two of us, there is plenty of space for a family of four. We appreciated all of the extras: beach chairs, mats, umbrella, and fully equipped kitchen with some dry goods and paper products. Full-size washer and dryer in the kitchen that is very new. Just an easy, lovely place to stay. The owner is easily accessible to answer any questions and has definitely thought of everything when furnishing this vacation home. This is not a stripped out rental with bare bones furnishings but a place that any owner would enjoy visiting him/herself. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Jeff, and for making us feel so welcome. We look forward to returning to your lovely slice of paradise soon! Also, be sure to go to Happy Talk for dinner, JoJo's for shave ice, and the Havaiki Tribal Arts store to support local artisans. We also highly recommend NaPali Catamaran for an incredible morning snorkeling trip and fascinating tour of the area. We can't wait to come back!

We loved Jeff's property on HBR. The location was perfect, we liked being on the edge of the property because it was super private, but when we needed to haul gear to and from cars, golf cart bell men were there with a quick phone call. Walking access to the beach is quite unique and we were happy to take advantage of that.
Amazing resort and unit, we would love to get back there eventually!

Great views from this unit, though uphill walk to the upper big pool and parking. Sill a great peaceful unit in the Hanalei bay resort. We’ll appointed kitchen, washer and dryer in unit. If you haven’t stayed in princeville it’s a great place. If you have this might be an upgrade on your last stay.

The view cannot be beat in Princeville! This resort faces the town Hanalei as well as the mountains!
Every night we watched the Sunset over the bay while we ate our dinners. Each condo has a private balcony and the rooms are all updated and modern. Our room 7102 was at the end of the resort, even with full occupancy we seen 1 or 2 people pass bye on our 7 night stay. HIGHLY Suggest!!

Loved the combination of tennis, beauty, ease, and location of Hanalei Bay Resort. Lisa was great at getting in touch and made it possible for me to drop my luggage into the unit a bit earlier in the day so that I could settle into the unit. I appreciated having a fully stocked kitchen in terms of supplies as well as laundry in the unit. It was very clean and easy to socialize with our friends who stayed in another building at the resort. Had a blast reigniting my tennis game with tennis clinic every morning. So much so that I decided to extend my stay on the island and go back to HBR for two nights to connect with other friends who are staying at HBR, as well. Great resort and Lisa was kind to work with as an owner.

This unit was so perfect for our family. Had all the necessary items to enjoy the kitchen, unit, beach supplies, tennis and more. Ocean/sunset views from the walk out patio are probably the best of any of the buildings on the property. The resort property is really nice but low key and not some over the top Disneyland resort, which made it very relaxing. Easy access within 50 steps to an outdoor kitchen and secondary pool and a short walk from the main pool. The beach here is to die for especially for families with small kids that don’t want to have to worry about big waves and rip tides. Amazing snorkeling! I saw large sea turtles every single time I went out!! We are definitely making this a routine vacation spot in the future.

The owner is exceptional, we have gotten to know her. Her place is well appointed, the kind of place one wants to respect and treat as there own. The resort is wonderful, both a salt water and fresh water pool, tennis courts and a covered, weather protected BBQ area with and sink and tables to dine right there. Golf is 5 star, 3-4 minutes driving time away. For us, it is the owner, who has spared nothing for comfort. We are returning guests, and will continue to return. Actually, we have already schedled out next visit.

Lisa's condo is fantastic - well appointed and comfortable. Beautiful kitchen with everything one needs to cook and feel relaxed. Washer and Dryer in unit is a big big plus. Bed is way comfortable with a memory foam top.
Hanalei Bay Resort needs work! Bali Hai restaurant not open - hasn't been in sometime. There is "work" being done but at the pace I witnessed don't expect it open anytime soon. Pumps for the water features in the pool were broken with no time frame on replacement. Pool bar not yet in service but "soon".

We loved this unit as well as the Hanalei Bay Resort. The resort makes check-in and check-out easy and the resort amenities such as golf cart rides to the beach leave you feeling pampered. Great food is also easily accessible from the resort. For example, The Dolphin and Bar Acuda are excellent places to eat within ten minutes of the resort. The condo was new, clean, and comfortable. The large living area and kitchen are the perfect place to relax after exploring the beautiful Garden Island. The view of the bay is fantastic from the very private lanai. The local art adds culture and sophistication to the Hawaiian appropriate decor. The owner is prompt, professional, and keeps a beautiful and welcoming condo. My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. We were very pleased with the room and accommodations. Everything was provided and it was tastefully decorated! Only downside was that it was a bit of a trek to get to the beach. Complimentary rides were provided but the staff were not the friendliest so we ended up walking everywhere. However, We were Very pleased with the condo and the whole rental process!

My husband and I stayed here with our 4 year old for a couple of nights while we checked out the North Shore of Kauai. The condo is beautiful with so many high-end finishes, and was perfect for the three of us. We loved the views from the porch of the mountains and the resort was very nice. It has similar views to the St. Regis at a fraction of the cost, and without any of the stuffiness of a high-end, posh resort.
My son loved the "rock pool" as he called it with a great area for smaller kids. It was a bit of a walk to and from the unit but it was great exercise and the views were fantastic. We also found the bell service to be very quick if we needed a golf cart to haul luggage or groceries. Thanks Lisa for a great stay!! We hope to be back soon for a longer stay.

My wife and I stayed here as part of our honeymoon. From the moment we arrived at Hanalei Bay Resort, we had a top-notch experience. The staff was all extremely friendly, helpful, and professional. The grounds and facilities are really well-maintained and beautiful. We used the main pool, grills, and the beach access.
A lot is said about the distance to the parking lot from the unit, but it was absolutely a non-issue for us. The only time we used a golf cart shuttle was when we arrived and departed with all of our luggage. I could see how it would be an issue if you are less mobile, but we enjoyed the walk (about 6-8 minutes). Being an end unit also gave us a lot of privacy, and it was really quiet and peaceful.
The condo is tastefully decorated with nice furniture, appliances, dishes, etc. We felt very comfortable during our stay. It was great having the in-unit washer and dryer too. I mean, it's not like we wanted to do a ton of laundry while on our honeymoon, but it was so nice to be able to do a couple loads and get everything clean since we were over a week into our trip when we arrived. The washer and dryer are extremely quick and efficient, so it took us no time at all.
I don't think we have a single complaint or recommendation - it was truly an A+ experience, and we would definitely visit again!

Great property in HBR. All new appliances and great, clean comfortable furniture. Kitchen was even stocked with coffee filters, sugar, salt, pepper,etc. The whole property of HBR is great and this one has some advantages. It's all the way at the end which allows for more quiet and seclusion. It also has a nice, almost private grassy back area. The only negatives to the location is the distance from the upper pool and parking lot, but the lower pool and BBQ area is very close. They also have golf cart transportation when requested, if you don't mind waiting. You still have an amazing view from the property, but because it is down lower, part of the view is obstructed by the trees. Lisa, the owner was also great. Very responsive to all questions, and even allowed us a 6p check out time for no extra charge. Only other negative is the cell phone signal is a bit spotty in the room, some carriers worse than others, so we frequently found ourselves having to leave the room to use our phones. Overall, I give it a 9/10, and highly recommend it.

We stayed at Lisa's condo for our 10-year-anniversary. The condo was clean upon our arrival. Is is nicely decorated and updated as well as very spacious, which made us feel comfortable during our trip. We were quite pleased with the provided extra amenities (washer and dryer, detergent, soaps, paper towels, kitchen utensils, pots/pans, coolers, beach chairs, etc.). The bed was comfortable and the A/C worked well in the hot/humid evenings and mornings while we were there. The bathroom and shower are brightly lit and have ample storage space. The view from the patio/lanai is beautiful and we enjoyed peaceful mornings looking out into the ocean, mountain, and lush landscape. Unfortunately, the young couple who had rented the adjoining smaller unit during the same timeframe were quite loud in their conversations, which was a significant disruption to the tranquility of the surrounding environment. I wish that we had been provided a small vacuum or dust buster to use during our stay to clean up the sand we had tracked in on our feet from the beach as the broom that was provided did not work as well for this purpose. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return if circumstances allow.

My husband and I stayed in this condo for our 20th anniversary. It was clean and quiet with very little foot traffic by our condo. The washer and dryer were a plus.
The resort is in a residential neighborhood so you need to drive to get food or do any shopping activities. As mentioned in other reviews, this condo is far from the parking lot ... it does stick out as you walk past the tennis courts and lagoon swimming area. As healthy 40-somethings, this was not an issue for us and you can always call for a golf cart to come pick you up.
We used this place as a springboard for hiking the Na Pali Coast and also for visiting the Limahuli Gardens (both about 30 minutes away). They were both well worth it. We stopped by the Mediterranean Gourmet on the way back -- a bit dated inside but the food was good and the ocean view was terrific. We also enjoyed Hanalei Coffee Roasters and Bar Acuda in Hanalei quite a bit.
Lisa was very responsive and let the resort know we would be checking in late (they have a 24 hour check-in desk). My only complaint with the resort itself is that after we checked in around 11 pm, the concierge called us at 8 or 8:30 am the next morning to let us know they existed. So if you check in late, unplug the condo's phone if you want to sleep in! We would totally come back to this condo again, though.

We contacted Lisa on short notice after she had a cancellation and she immediately responded. Within minutes we had the rental setup She is very friendly and great to work with. Her Unit is as advertised. The Lanai commands a beautiful view. We had coffee every morning and a glass of wine in the evenings relaxing on the Lanai and marveling at the beauty of Kauai. The unit looks brand new with a very clean and contemporary feel. Would definitely book again and recommend to friends.
