Katerina's villa was a perfect place to stay for our family vacation to Maui. Katerina was more than accommodating and extremely responsive when I asked for suggestions for restaurants, activities and even when I wanted to alter my dates before our stay. The villa was clean, had a beautiful lanai, well stocked kitchen and a great coffee maker!
Unfortunately, during our stay we lost electricity one night due to high winds from a passing hurricane. We decided to go for a drive around the north side of the island to get lunch and groceries since nothing around us was open due to the loss of electricity. While we were out, the fires in Lahina started so we were not able to get back to Kapalua or our Villa. We were in contact with Katerina the whole time as she was still in Kapalua. She went above and beyond to pack up ALL of our belongings and meet us at the airport as soon as she was able to leave the area days later while at the same time dealing with the safety of her family and her property -- amazing! She had much bigger things to worry about than our luggage/belongings left at the villa yet she went above and beyond any reasonable expectations and tried to help us retrieve our stuff.
Not only would I not hesitate to stay at her villa again, I recommend that anyone visiting Maui in the future contact Katerina. Most importantly, we are praying for a speedy recovery for Katerina, her family, and all affected by the fires on Maui!

This property was perfect for us and absolutely fantastic. Where do I start? The location is amazing, quiet but close to everything you need - you can walk to amazing beaches and snorkeling / swimming (including the coastal trail), the villa pools, and excellent restaurants all under 15 minutes (and a nice walk). Grocery and shopping is also very convenient. Napili Market rules! World class golf is out your window or 5 minutes away. Inside the condo we also found everything we needed - all kitchen essentials and then some, including a fantastic coffee maker, wonderful bedrooms and beds, lovely golf course, ocean and night time star views, a lovely and quiet lanai. The details were over the top - bed side chargers in the master, beach gear including towels, many chairs, snorkel gear, an amazing Yeti cooler, a football! And lastly, but critically, Katerina is the best! Very responsive, helpful and personable and her recommendations for a snorkel cruise, restaurants and others were 100%. Truly amazing!

My family of 7 enjoyed our recent stay in Maui. The property is exactly as described. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were perfect in size. A second bedroom would be nice to have upstairs but we made it work. Katarina promptly responded to our questions and provided suggestions for areas to checkout during our stay. We had a minor bathroom maintenance issue which was swiftly addressed. Overall, we loved the quiet location, shuttle service, and exploring the area and beautiful beaches. Highly recommend Katarina’s property!

The house is absolutely beautiful! Every comfort was provided, and the furnishings, bedding, towels, products, etc.. were all extremely nice. We loved the deck off the master for morning sunshine, and the main deck for the rest of the day. The beach was a short walk, with beautiful sand, watching the sunset there will be a wondeful memory. The small pool by the unit was clean and very lightly used, we did use the BBQ and it was also clean and in excellent condition. The only thing that we needed and did not find were longer utensils for the BBQ - very minor issue. I would definitely stay again.

Perfect villa for family vacation. Beautiful setting backing Kapalua Golf course! Plush beds and bedding, kitchen stocked with everything you could need. Pak-n-play didn’t work for our granddaughters sleeping so host Katerina had crib brought in 1 day and she slept well the remainder of our trip, thanks Katerina! The space had windows with views for days, unbelievable stay can’t wait to go back! Walk to the beach with beautiful pool right next to Villa with all the beach accessories you could think of. Lanai off of master and lanai off of kitchen/dining absolutely beautiful! Great memories of this vacation!!

Nice updated condo! Katerina was lovely to deal with. The unit was very clean and tastefully decorated. The decor was modern, had lots of natural light and had a lot of nice touches to it-speaker, good shampoo and conditioner, soft linens and pillows, latte maker, and tons of beach gear. The only issue is the sliding barn doors-it made it hard for privacy and for those who wanted to sleep in longer because noise would carry. The unit has only one bathroom for two bedrooms upstairs which was not ideal for adults sharing the primary bathroom with teen girls. We stayed with family so it was not a big deal. It was more of an issue for the teenagers. The Kapalua shuttle service was very useful and came right away. The unit is near a nice pool that gets lots of sun!

Katharina’s Kapalua townhome was absolutely fantastic. The views were gorgeous. The townhouse was very clean, well organized and incredibly stocked. Everyone in our group throughly enjoyed our stay and our daily lattes from the Meile coffee machine. The pools were extremely close and lovely, and the at door shuttle pick up for all of Kapaula was efficient, clean and handy. There is nothing bad to say out our stay. And to top it off Katerina and her husband were beyond friendly and helpful. We would all highly recommend and hope to be back in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at this unit for 7 nights. The location was amazing -within walking distance to Kapalua bay. We loved the tranquility of the area as there was not a lot of noise and the stars at night off the lanai were incredible. We enjoyed the spaciousness of the unit and were very comfortable. The second bedroom upstairs with 2 full size beds was perfect for our 2 teenagers. The kitchen and beach gear is truly fully stocked.
We didn’t love the sliding barn doors to the bedrooms/bathrooms as it limited privacy and made it a little loud within the unit, but otherwise it was perfect!

Katerina and her husband are wonderful hosts! The property is exactly as it appears on the VRBO listing. It is very well appointed with very nice amenities which include great higher end detangling “Monday” shampoo and conditioner, ample paper towels, bathroom, and facial tissue, bath and beach towels, adjustable fully reclining sand chairs, boogie boards, and snorkel gear. The kitchen is fully stocked with great pots, pans, knives, silverware, and small appliances.
Pool A is quaint and private, Pool C (up the hill from the front of the villa) is spacious and more open to the sun. All pool areas have heated pools and are beautiful and clean.
The Kapalua Golf Course property is beautiful and following the sidewalks for jogs or walks to the right out of Kapalua toward Montage and The Ritz Carlton provide for beautiful views, a seemingly safe route, and a great workout!!
We went zip lining with Skyline. It was about a 15-20 minute drive from the villa. The company and crew are very professional. Despite feeling a bit anxious about trying this out for the first time, I felt extremely safe as the company has very strong safe protocols.
We also went snorkeling to Molokini and Turtle Bay abroad Calypso. The drive from the villa to where the boat is docked is appx. 35-45 minutes. This was an amazing snorkeling experience on a three tier boat with 2 slides and a deck to jump off of. We saw plenty of beautiful fish, tons of turtles, and plenty of whales to and from Molokini.

The Kapalua Villa was a wonderful place to really enjoy our family vacation. Katerina is a great host. She immediately provided us with a couple of items that we needed at the beginning of our two-week stay The Villa was very well equipped to make our stay pleasant. The golf course view and lanai made our time at the Villa fantastic. The sunsets and the occasional rainbows made for great pictures. The built-in desk and Alexa Echo Show made it very easy to get weather and travel tips. The only shortcoming for us was the lack of closet space in the Lanai bedroom. Mahalo, Larry and family

Overall we had a very positive experience. We stayed the first week of January- the weather was perfect. No excessive rain or wind in the area. Katarina was kind and responsive to all our questions and flexible with check in and check out times to accommodate our flight schedules. The space was very comfortable for our 6 adults and could accommodate 2 more people on the pull out sofa we didn’t use. Very clean, spacious and well equipped with anything you may need. The location is in the nice lush green complex on the golf course and a short walk to the beach, walking distance to Montage or Ritz. The only better location would be directly on the beach with ocean view but that’s hard to get outside of hotels. We liked this accommodation and would definitely return.

The Kapalua villa was exceptional. Large, spacious, open design allowed us to move freely. The Kapalua villa is located right on the golf course. It is a well developed, pristine community. Yet it is very quiet and private. When I had my morning coffee on the veranda there was no one around. Eventually you will hear the ping of golf balls from early morning risers but that just contributed to the charm of this area. All the conveniences are included in this villa but the area boasts a very cool store, the Honolua, which has an excellent deli. The Loco Moco and Hawaiian breakfast were my favorites and reasonable price for this high end location. (many locals go to that store). Katerina was an attentive host and responded to all my inquiries on a timely matter. Would I rent again? Absolutely!

Well equipped, beach chairs, snorkel gear, boogie boards, espresso maker. Great location, views, TV, Internet, etc.
On the downside, it is a 2 and 1/2 bath - not 3 as advertised. The 3rd bedroom (upstairs twin) has to use either of the two master bath suites - not ideal. Further, the wrap-around stairway has no handrail, stair appear un finished. You really need to be careful. The front door locking system is sketchy - very difficult to lock the door. Don't run the microwave and toaster oven at the same time - fuse trips.
That said, we had a great time and really appreciated the peaceful location of this unit in Kapalua.

Katerina’s property was in a beautiful location next to the fairway - the edge of which was a great place to view the stars and the haze of the Milky Way on the clear, super dark nights . It was an easy walk, shuttle ride, or a very brief car ride to two beaches and conveniently close to various restaurants and grocery stores. The villa itself had everything we needed (and probably more!) to enjoy our vacation - chairs, boogie boards, a cooler, sand toys, scuba gear. Katerina was proactive and responsive, too, which made check-in super easy. And the pictures on the listing are true to the villa itself. Thank you so much!

I really cannot express how much we enjoyed our stay in this beautiful villa. Katerina has impeccable taste and has masterfully created an atmosphere that is both modern and chic while also being comfortable and warm. She generously supplies more than enough towels, beach chairs, beach supplies, household supplies...there is even a beach shuttle to take to the beach. It really was outstanding. Other owners should take note!
I traveled this trip with my husband, my son (27), and my daughters (18 & 24). We were all comfortable and all fully enjoyed the location as a home base!

Our family spent our Spring Break (and my husband's 40th birthday) here. The villa was beautiful! Tons of space for my family (6 of us). The villa was terrific for family movie nights and there was plenty of room for everyone at the dinner table. Beautiful views from the lanais and also great for star gazing.. Comfortable beds. State of the art kitchen and appliances. Kids loved the pools. The villa had everything we needed for the beach (folding chairs, snorkeling gear, blanket, etc.). Location is outstanding, minutes from the grocery store and a short drive to Lahaina. We are already looking forward to going back.

Our family of six adults and one toddler enjoyed our stay at Maui Flip Flop Villa. The accommodations were wonderful. The extended list of amenities was appreciated. Each morning we made cappuccinos using the high quality expresso machine and sipped them on the comfortable lanai. Our adult children took full advantage of the snorkel equipment provided. So convenient to walk to Kapalua Bay beach with chairs, beach toys, etc.
The kitchen was fully stocked with all of the basics and more.
We highly recommend this nicely located unit. Our host, Katerina, was easy to contact and responded quickly.

This is one of the nicest rentals I have stayed in. A gorgeous view with cozy lanai furniture. It was so well stocked and the host provided us with our favorite coffee (a wonderful surprise since we are total coffee-snobs). I took lots of notes for our own rental. The house was well stocked, clean and in a great location in Kapalua. Could hear the ocean from the balcony and the golfers teeing off the 4th hole around 7:40 am every day. There was plenty of room for my husband and I, our two adult kids and one teenager. Many beaches close by to walk (5 -7 minutes) to or drive. Nice beach chairs/towels provided and the Yeti cooler was very nice to have. The pool was close by as well. I enjoyed the quite and less crowded feel of the Kapalua area overall. The walking trails are convenient and the views...only Hawaii can offer. Napili market was close for grocery needs and Lahaina town was only 20 minutes down the road (our kids did surfing lessons there, we did a whale watching tour out of Lahaina, and the Old Lahaina luau). Plenty of restaurants to choose from as well so we did not have to drive very far to get some great food. Katerina was responsive to my texts when we got there.
Suggestions for improvement and easy to do- the upstairs master has very little lighting. One lamp was broken and we could not fix it and the other was damaged and only had one working it. hard to unpack/get ready in evening with little light. Also- there is no closet in the upstairs master bedroom. There was a closet in the bathroom but it is converted to shelving with a dresser. My husband and I had to either hang our clothes in the bedroom next door or downstairs in that master bedroom- both those room had nice closets.
Overall- a very pleasant experience at this house. I would recommend staying here to anyone.

We had a great experience staying at this condo in Kapalua. It has everything that you need for Hawaii vacation and more. Super clean, well stocked kitchen, beach chairs, boogie boards and snorkeling gear. New, modern furniture, attention to detail. For those who like a cup of espresso- there is a capsule espresso machine- yeah!
Location is super convenient- right on golf course, 5 min walk to tennis courts and 10 min walk to nearest beach. Overall we had a blast. Definitely coming back!

My husband and I stayed in this home with one other couple. The set up was perfect for us having a master suite upstairs and downstairs. The views of the golf course, mountains and ocean in the background were perfect. We had our coffee there every morning as well as cocktails at night. The neighborhood was very safe and the grounds were all beautiful. Pool location was an easy walk. There were plenty of beaches nearby, loved the convenience of the store to pick up odds and ends. Several beaches nearby. We also loved the location on Maui itself. We loved Lahaina. It was just a short 15/20minute drive to several restaurants and shops. In addition to that, Katerina was a phenomenal host. The home is exactly as described and she was so accommodating with any questions we had. The home is fully stocked. We loved the yeti cooler, beach chairs, snorkel gear and countless other little touches. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Our visit was for two weeks on Maui and we loved staying at this spacious villa. The villa was on the top level with a spectacular ocean, golf, and mountain view. The villa is very spacious and cozy - felt like home. There were three bathrooms that were very well stocked, We had plenty of towels for sure. It was nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit. The unit had modern furniture, beautiful lighting fixtures, local art, modern windows, beautiful hardwood, and tile flooring throughout, and new appliances. There were four swimming pools and one adult pool with gas barbecues at the pool area.
The coastal path runs about 1.7. miles and there are two small beaches about 5-10 minutes away. There were enough restaurants in the area that you could visit. We enjoyed dinners at Taverna & Pour House (both Italian), Sansei (Japanese), and the Beach Shack.
Kapalua is about 45 minutes from Lahaina and in a beautiful area near the Ritz Carlton and Montage hotel just a short walk from the villa.

This place was a fantastic home for our Maui trip and it looks exactly as beautiful as the pictures! It’s newly remodeled and very spacious. All amenities, decor, furniture and appliances were even more lavish than we could ask for. The condo had everything we needed including fancy kitchen appliances, utensils, beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkeling masks and even Yeti beach cooler/backpack and a beach bag.
If you want to wake up every morning with a spectacular view, this place is amazing! And one of the nicest beaches we were able to go on during our stay in Maui is only 10 minutes away. We walked there everyday and enjoyed watching mesmerizing sunsets by the water.
The location is perfect with a variety of great shopping, dining and snorkeling options. The host was amazing to work with and so responsive to our every need.
We loved our stay and would recommend this place for anyone 100%!

The Maui Flip Flop Villa was the most perfect location for our Hawaii dream vacation. We travelled with our three young children ages 4, 6, and 8 and our parents. The villa had more than enough space for all of us to enjoy spending time together while at home in the living room or on the amazing patio. There was also a lot of separate space for all us to spend some downtime when needed.
The location of the villa is absolutely perfect. We spent every morning on the patio with the beautiful view of the golf course drinking our coffee. And we spent every evening sipping wine and watching the sunset. The most amazing way to start and end each day.
We walked the golf course trails in the morning, and the Honolua Store is just a short walk away. We played golf at the Bay Course and the Plantation course which were both so beautiful. Kapalua Bay is so close and was our favorite beach to go to!
Katerina has provided everything you could possibly need, from coffee, cooler backpack, snorkeling gear, boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrella, and the kitchen is so well stocked! And all of the beds were so comfortable!
Katerina was great to communicate with. Anytime I had a question, she was really quick to respond!
The home really made this trip so perfect! We will definitely stay here again next time we come to Maui. Thank you Katerina! Mahalo

Our family of five two adults and three children (8, 12 and 17) had an incredible experience from start to end. My wife is amazing cook and she was impressed with kitchen setup, extra species, oils, Ninja Foodie and Blender. I am a coffee snub and was spoiled with variety of Nespresso coffee flavors. Every room had brand new smart TV set up with premium programming and was super easy to connect my iPhone to watch soccer games. My younger children shared bedroom with double beds which is equipped Xbox, this was a huge bonus and they love it. Playing monopoly and checker after dinner was like being at home, there at least dozen of adult and family games to choose from. My wife is a planner and she appreciated getting Maui Revealed Guide sent by Katerina to help her planning. Katerina also shared her own planning guide that we super helpful. Kapalua Bay beach is short walk we took daily. The villa is extremely private and quiet. Both of us were up at 5 am to get our work done while our children enjoyed heated pools at the resort. We used barbecue almost daily, my kids would enjoy swimming in heated pool while I cook lunch or dinner. Best poke we from Napili Market is only minutes from the villa. Kids loved getting snacks and bubble tea from Honolua store near to which they walked to several times. Star gazing on the lanais is absolutely incredible!!!!! We saw Milky Way and full moon. Our fav beaches were all close by including Flemings, Ironwood and Kapalua Bay and Slaughterhouse. Our daughter is a surfer and she took a shuttle to Ironwood daily to catch to practice her surf. We are very happy with overall experience . Our family fell in love with Kapalua. It’s truly magical. We definitely be back again next year.

We just had the most amazing stay at this luxury villa. It was the best place we ever rented! It has been beautifully remodeled, furnished with high-end furniture, very modern, and exceptionally clean. The master bedroom is huge!
The villa is a 7-minute walk to the best beach on Maui - Kapalua Bay Beach that is very frequent with turtles. There are several great restaurants within walking distance. There were so many beautiful things to explore nearby that we never drove far from the villa. Check out the nearby Kapalua coastal trail that runs through several unique beaches.
We definitely appreciated all the extra touches provided such as the Nespresso machine, yeti backpack cooler to take with you to the beach, Tommy Bahama chairs, beach towels, and more.
The lanai with a view of a golf course and hundred-year-old trees was perfect for having breakfast and drinking wine and stargazing at night.
The host was super nice and very responsive, we are looking forward to staying at this amazing place again!

I was in Maui for a week and stayed in few places so I can compare, and also have the best experience overall, the stay at the villa was by far the most comfortable and luxurious overall.
The duplex has little European touches, smart appliances, all furnitures are modern and contemporary, the place gets a lot of sun. My morning started by cup of Nespresso at the terrace with the amazing views of the golf course, followed by a walk to the Montage and the coastal trail.
Everything for the most part was walking distance, there are so many beaches to chose from, the host has chairs, beach towels, and snorkeling tools. If you like snorkeling go to Slaughterbeach house, it has the most mesmerizing views, I saw so many tropical fishes, turtles, and all type of fishes (I don’t know all names but you will have a blast I promise), I went to honolua beach but it wasn’t my favorite as it’s very rocky.
The place is like 20 min to Lahaina where you can find variety of shops and restaurants, there is also a good shave ice cream place called “Ululani” make sure to say “Kama-aina” which means local discount, add a scope of macadamia ice cream it’s heavenly.
Now that I have an idea of the island and the place, I am planning my family Christmas trip and stay at the Villa.

Katerina’s condo was beautiful and exactly as pictured. All the beds were extremely comfortable and easily fit the 7 of us who stayed. The resort which the condo is on has a lovely golf course and several restaurants to choose from! I’d suggest renting a car though so you can explore other nearby towns such as Lahaina. Overall we were extremely happy with our stay, the condo was equip with everything we needed and it was also newly renovated.

After frantically looking for a nice place to stay in Maui, this villa popped up as a new listing, and although it did not have any reviews yet, it was the best decision EVER! Right after we booked, the owner Katerina had a lovely gesture, and sent us a “Maui Revealed” planning guide which was so helpful, because it had unbiased opinions of all the activities and restaurants, which were spot on! The check in process was easy, and Katerina was super communicative, which gave us comfort. When we walked in, we were in awe at to see how big, beautiful, and well stocked this condo was…it even had a “new house” smell, which we loved! From the comfy beds, to the open space for mingling, and the little extras- like towels, cooler, boogie boards, snorkeling gear, a well-stocked kitchen, and so much more, our vacation was one of the best experiences EVER! Thank you Katerina for all the love you have put into your place, for everyone to enjoy, it’s evident! We had a lovely experience, and we highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a five-star experience in Maui. We will be back!
