The villa was true to the website pics…so expectations were high, but the villa exceeded those high expectations! Everything was in good shape, clean and never couldn’t find a dish or utensil we needed. The accommodations were a great match for our family, especially the three-bed bedroom setup in the upstairs bedroom. Derek’s description of the Ho Olei pool was spot on - much quieter, with more chair availability, than the Grand Wailea pool. Overall, a GREAT place to stay while visiting Maui.

Our stay was so wonderful. We had 8 people joining, including 3 kids, and everyone had the best vacation! The house was spotless and beautiful, with a great kitchen to cook in, beach chairs and umbrellas to use, and a gorgeous balcony patio to eat on and enjoy the view. The owners were very flexible with our check in and check out time and accommodated us having two rental cars. The pool and workout area in the community was wonderful and easy to walk to.
Our only issue was that the living room TV was glitchy and we couldn't figure out how to watch a movie on it- it kept turning off. Thankfully we were so busy we only tried to watch something our very last night. Thanks for an amazing stay!

This is exactly as pictured - a perfect place for a group of friends to spend the week in Maui. Walking distance to beach, restaurant and shops and also very easy to park and drive.

My husband and I stayed in this villa and loved it. The photos are accurate. We really liked the folding doors that give the place a lovely indoor/outdoor vibe. The location is great, right across from the Grand Wailea and near the shopping area. There are tons of great restaurants nearby.
Normally when we rent from VBRO we get a welcome email a few days prior with all the codes / keys and check-in details. We did not get one this time. I was able to text the mgr. the day we were checking in and he gave me all that information.
This is a great property for a big family!

We had been used to staying at the Four Seasons in Waimea but for a variety of reasons, we decided to give a condo unit a try. What a wonderful experience. The in-unit parking garage saved us time and tips not having to wait on the valet to bring the car. So much more space than even a suite at the hotel. Our own washer and dryer. The kitchen to make some of our own meals. And this unit on the middle row of three levels of units was perfectly placed to take in sunrise and sunset over this slice of paradise. We loved it!

This was a modern, newly renovated property, with comfortable beds, plenty of room and a nice view of the sunsets. It's a bit of walk to the beach, but doable. Kids enjoyed the pool. The grill lighter and the front door entry keys weren't working, so I suppose this should actually probably be more of a 4.5 star review.

My family had a vacation planned for March 2020 which was delayed. When we decided it was safe to travel, we of course chose to come to Wailea, our favorite place on earth. My daughter had stayed at Ho'olei with her in-laws several years ago and suggested it. The unit had been recently remodeled and we could tell by the photos that it would suite our family needs. The bedrooms were spacious with really comfortable beds, the kitchen was big enough for all of the cooks to gather and we ate every meal on the lanai which had beautiful ocean views in the daytime and glorious sunsets. It was an easy walk to the beach and we were able to use the beach chairs, umbrellas. boogie boards and sand toys that were left at the house. We will definitely try to book our next vacation at Ho'olei!
We would like to suggest that the kitchen be stocked with additional knives, some small individual sized bowls and some plastic dishes and cups for the kids to use.

This place was great. The view was amazing. The beach was a quick walk. They were well stocked with chairs, sand toys etc. It was great having the one room with 3 queen beds! It was huge and great for a kids space! My only suggestion is to get some additional cooking supplies such as a vegetable peeler and a good spatula! Especially in covid we found ourselves eating in more than out and would have loved a bit more in that department.
